While its still moring I'll post this before everyone has to run out.

For those of you who were not in chat a clue was given that I'll share again today. This screen cap is a from a PG rated film. Later today I'll post the guesses that have already been posted.

I'll guess Voyage to the Bottom of the Sea

Amy,

Emily's party looks like it was a total success. I sure hope Madison beats the croup fast. I know she must have been disapointed to sleep through the party.

Nick is getting irritated with me right now cause I am making him wear a light jacket out today to school. I told him that we all want to be healthy in 11 days dont we?
Today seems to be the LAST of the good days here.

:grouphug: to everyone today - it's been a crazy time for many lately and let's throw in some pixiedust: to help make it a smoother time til we all meet again on the ship!

Off to run last minute errands and finish my packing - I'm leaving in 2 days :yay:

DD only has school 2 days this week. So, Wednesday she is going to help me prepare meals at Dinner's Ready. Then we are going to figure out her vacation clothes. What fits and what doesn't and what she thinks is COOL enough to wear!;) She says she wants to be a designer when she grows up, so we already have to compromise on what she likes and what I will allow her to wear. Can't wait until she is a teenager ;)
I'm glad that I dont have that problem with my girls yet...they basically wear whatever I buy...they do pick out some of their clothes...but they dont ask for specific things...Thats nice that she only has 2 days of school...my girls have today off, then back to school they go!

HOLY COW Cindy - bruised and bloody 1st grade soccer game. I am glad that Walker was nto there. HOW in the world did the game get so out of control? I know that this could not happen at Nicks games because his team is so polite a few of the kids tend to MOVE out of the way of the ball or other team as to not interfer. LOL....

We are going to start indoor soccer after the cruise and I know that it is much more aggressive. This will be trying for the kids but the ones who signed up for indoor are the better players and not just there because MOM and DAD want them to be.

Amy....hope Madison feels better soon and here's some pixiedust: that Emily doesn't catch it!
Thankfully, I think that Madison got it from Emily, who got it from school. And, I'm starting to get a cough too! So, we have 2 weeks to get better!!!

Congratulations, Cheryl, 2500 posts!! :thumbsup2

Amy, I hope Madision is feeling better today. Better now than in two weeks.

Diana, I know it's going to be a long day for you. I think it's the right decision for Penny and feel some people could be as lucky. I'll be thinking of all of you. pixiedust:

I breezed out of chat last night like wildfire. Gary received a call from the 1st grade soccer commissioner that there was a brawl during Walker's teams game yesterday and the other players left the field bruised & bloody. So, Gary immediately called the assistant coach as Gary wasn't there --- to hear another side of the story. The other coach is saying it was our players. The Assistant Coach is saying it was their players and parents. In the end, we still don't know what happened. Two things I'm thankful for -- that Gary doesn't have to figure out the "true" story and we missed the game. :) We already have enough headaches, so someone was looking out for us. Besides, I wouldn't want Walker to experience that type of unsportsmanlike behavior.

We spent the day by Gary's sisters house. Cameron's choice. It was a beautiful day -- probably the last we are going to have this season. The kids love going there. She has a couple of horses they like to clean up after  :crazy2: . They actually fight to get to muck out the stalls --- I'm wondering who's children are these? We went to a tractor show in their little town which is a big deal to their little town. My SIL said, look at this, people sitting outside in front of the shops, this is what people do in small towns. I just can't imagine. We went to a little diner restaurant and then back to their house where Cameron did some target shooting in their backyard.

Thanks again for the birthday wishes --- Curt, I'm thinking Cameron's good without his own DIS id. As that's the first time I could ever get him to post, I'm thinking he'd forget it before he used it again. ;)

Happy Monday, everyone!

I'm glad Gary wasn't there too! Tom used be a Director with USA Hockey and there were several times that he had to attend hearings of parents or players fighting. I can't believe how bad some people get over sports. It's crazy!

Amy I hope Madison is feeling better and that she did not "share" with any of the other girls.
I know, I certainly hope not!! Luckily, she slept throught most of the party, so hopefully she didn't pass on her germs. But, I think that it started with Emily in school, and since all of those little girls are from Emily's school, I'm hoping that they've already had it.

Boy, you are observant!! She actually fell asleep on the family room floor about 1/2 hour before the party. They party was actually scheduled right in the middle of her nap, but we thought that she would make it, since there would be so much activity around. But, I guess that was the beginning of her not feeling well, since that cough crept up after we put her to bed for the night.
I'm sure she was a little upset she missed the party!

Yes, definitely keep him healthy!!

And, you'll all be surprised to know that it "cooled" down here in central FL. The high today is only in the low to mid 80s and it's actually cooler outside than it is in my house right now (I keep my house at 78 during the summer - costs too much to be any lower with the AC bill). And, the humidity is down, so hopefully it will be pretty similar in 2 weeks.

Thanks to everyone for the thoughts and prayers. It's a sad day, but I've known it's been coming for a while. Now to make all you guys sad too--here's a pic of Penny I took yesterday, I tried taking some with her and the girls but not one of them would cooperate! :confused3

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Not sure if you want to eat breakfast or lunch at Triton's or up at Beach Blanket? Here's a tip. They post the menu for Triton's near the back entrance (the hallway right near the Promonade lounge). Stop by there and see if there is something on the menu you'd love. If not head on up to the buffet.

Dinner menu's are also posted outside of each resturant later in the day. So if you are the type to plan ahead you can.

Mary - this is a great tip. :thumbsup2
