We had to put our beloved golden retriever down today. He was 15 and had developed multiple organ failure (or cancer) etiher way it would have cost about $700 just to diagnose the problem but at his age the outcome was inevitable. Thankfully he did not suffer and lived a great life but the pain of the loss is unbearable.

My boys are crushed (DH and the DS's) and I do not know how to cheer them up. I know the cruise will help but any ideas (any good movies out there I can take them to?) to help them through it would be great. This weekend is the Canadian Thanksgiving so we get an extra day to do things. I plan on doing a scrapbook page once the pain subsides--things are still too raw.

Pixie dust and prayers to Mary.

Jacqui

I'm so sorry to hear this...prayers and pd to you and your family

Congrats to Chris on reply #20,000!

Honorable Mention to Duckieluckey for a great set-up!

Okay, I was going to ask this when we hit 19K. What is the difference between a post and a reply? Isn't a reply just another post?

If you leave her in the 5-7 she will be with Haylee...Haylee is a little upset that she has to be with the 5-7 when she is almost 8, but I exlplained it to her, and I think all is good

Amy, don't forget she already has a friend in the 5-7 age group. ::yes::

How soon you forget that our kids are going to be partying at WDW during their spring breaks in years to come. party:

No problem - what SPF to do you want? I think that I saw 15 and 30, and maybe 50 for kids. You can pay me later.

I would say thirty or fifty. My girls are really pale and I don't want them to burn. Thank you soooo much.

I think Emma is the only one in the 3-4 group, isn't she? I'm going to end up doing stuff with her and Julia in the club anyways because being in Flounders isn't gonna cut it for Julia, I just know it.

Wow, today has been great for me (except for filling out the Bahamas form wrong ;)

First we had the exciting story happening at Mk this morning (brought tears to my eyes), then I got my cruise docs, and now in the regular mail I got a great, wonderful, unexpected gift from DVC in celebration of their 15th year! :cool1:

Its a great day!!

Is there any way that Emma can join Julia in Flounders so you can have some time alone? You know, I'm not big on dumping kids off -- even my own, but it was nice to have them occupied on the ship.

I'm thinking I won't have that problem this year. I worried about it last year thinking that Walker wouldn't want to be in the club. The surprise was on me -- I hope it's the same this year.

Thanks for asking Amy - we have no resolution at this time. They made us send all the bags back to PROVE that they were wrong and have supposedly guaranteed bags by the 13th. I'm not confident but will be checking the tracking tonight when I get home.
I sure hope that it works out for you, Julie!!! I'll keep my fingers crossed for you and those darn bags!!!

Some things from Master Replicas that I thought may be of interest:

1) They're having a contest to win some of their Disney merchandise: http://masterreplicas.com/Disney/index.php

2) They also just released a Little Mermaid collectable: http://masterreplicas.com/customer/showcase/showcase_product_detail.php

You can also see their other Disney items from that second link. These are not illegal productions, they have permissions from Disney to create these. I have a friend who collects their light sabres, and those are some amazing work.

Oh and last tidbit, my wisdom teeth are out, and I'm starting to feel less numb which means... let the pain ensue!!!

Todd..PD to you...hope you feel better soon...A little trick the dentist I work for tells patients is to take 1 ibuprofen with your pain meds and it will help keep the pain down when the pain meds start to wear off...HTH!

I can't believe that we did it so early. What do we think the post count will be on Oct. 22?

Oh, I know!! And, she'll have Emma if she stays in the 3-4 group. I'm really going to leave it up to her, because overall I want her to be happy with the activities. I think that she would probably fit in better with the older group, because she really does get along well with older kids.
