...and to think, it all started with a well-meaning post

Why thank me very much CD

Fantastic pictures! I have been twice, but am planning a 3rd. This time will just be my mom and me. I hope DCL adds a cruise to Alaska too. That gives a whole new meaning to the phrase "Disney On Ice".fireplug said:Stacy, we were in Alaska 2 years ago. We did a 14 day cruise/tour Here are some of the 1100 pics we took!

OMG - that is just too funny. Is he ok with it??ohiominnie said:Interesting news tonight. The director and stage manager told me that Nick's hair needs to be dyed blonde. Right now he's what I'd call a dirty blonde, but for the play to work, he needs to be BLONDE. During the play he'll get his hair painted (probably with some spray) purple, and then washed, then green, then washed!!So his hair really needs to be blonde so the colors show up! Weird. I'm taking my 9 yr old son in to have his hair colored. Only for the theater, eh?

It's okay. I think the only time I've gone to Ohio is to go to King's Island twice (one of those times I was in high school) and flying into the Cincy airport which doesn't really count. My best friend from my adult life just moved to Dayton though, so I might have to make a road trip there sometime!ohiominnie said:Ya know, the weird thing is....I live in Ohio and have my whole life....and I cannot remember ONE TIME ever going to Indiana. And I'm |-----| this close!![]()

And I've lived in Indiana my entire life....but on the Illinois side.

alikat99 said:Ok, I'm back from my VIP event and I'm exhausted!! I met some terrific ladies and am inspired to start volunteering more. The Race for the Cure is next weekend, and while I'm not ready to race, I will try to volunteer that day. I used to volunteer a lot more before I had kids, but after the girls came, life got a little busy (can you believe it???).

WDWLVR said:Well it will give you a chance to do some head shots of him with blond hair. As long as Nick is ok with it could be fun. When is opening night?

Cameron would have a fit. I've tried several times to get him to add some highlights to his hair and he'll have no part of it.
ohiominnie said:When the director and stage manager were talking about it last night (and running their fingers through Nick's hair) he was like "whatever." But of course, Mike and my reaction was pretty laid back too....more of of "sure, not a problem, he's going in Monday for a haircut I'll see if it can be done then" instead of a "WHAT??? You want to do WHAT to my baby's hair??????"
Also helps that "Jake" must go from dark black to red (his choice to do that)
cgcw said:You might have to make regular appointments for him every 6 weeks to keep up the new look.Or at least until it grows out if it's really obvious.
ohiominnie said:Oh, I didn't want to hear that. Walking out last night I told Mike "but coloring Nick's hair isn't in the budget" (which, for the first time in our 15 yrs of marriage we're actually trying to make and STICK to!!)![]()
