Stitch#1, we did a cruise on Holland America (Ryndam) from Seward to Vancouver. It was fantastic. American Airlines messed up our pre-cruise stay by moving our departure time from DFW up by 30 minutes within a month before the cruise. We couldn't do the earlier time because of DD's finals in summer college classes so we had to move our trip to Saturday instead of Thursday because that was the only day they had seats available. You have to fly into Anchorage and then take a train or bus down to Seward, a 2 hour drive or a 3 hour train ride. We took the Alaska Railway. Awesome is all I can say! The ship sails on Sunday afternoon. That was a wonderful trip. We had done a land tour in 2000 and wanted to come back, but try it by ship this time. Once you have been, you will definitely want to go back. There is just too much to see.

Ok something is definately going around.
I've been feeling metza metz all day today. Jeff swigged some Nyqual last night before bed and half the people at work were coughing or sneezing.

Yup, everyone is sick. It's kind of like the flu, only it's not quite flu season yet. The body aches is what's killing me. I feel like I got hit by a truck. I'm actually happy to have it now because I know I'll be back to my old self by the time we cruise! So hurry up and get it so you can be done with it too!

Hello from the Wonder! We are at sea heading towards Castaway Cay. Having a great time - 11 nights on the ship is "Wonder"ful! Don't have enough time to read all the posts - I'll have to do that when I get home.

Ducky is doing his presentation today. Susan Eagen did her presentation yesterday.

Hope everyone is doing great, I'll post more when I get back home. The ship docks at PC on Thursday and we're going to WDW until Sunday night.

I was thinking, reading this discussion. I know it's a little close to cruise time, but all you travelers might consider biting the bullet and getting passports. As of January 1, 2007, they will be needed anyway on all domestic travel.

We got ours this year.
Here is the odd thing. We dropped of the forms for all three of us on the same day. Jeff got his in about 3 weeks. Mine didn't show up for like another week and a half, but DS Nick got his last.
Like what could they possible need to check on an 11 year old that it would take almost 6 weeks to get his passport?

Why not they have hockey? There have to be some snow birds from the Great White North (coo roo coo coo coo coo coo coo - sorry couldn't resist) that miss curling...

This is true Mr Strange Brew (love that one).

My Parents met one of the Disney Animators at dinner one night and he invited them to watch him play hockey. He drew a little character on the paper he left the directions to the rink on so my parents kept it and I think framed it.

I think that I finally found some organizing tools that are going to help me keep things straight around here. I just didn't realize how MUCH stuff that I actually have. It's overwhelming, but I'm hoping that once it's organized, I'll actually get something done here!!

Been there done that I have LOTS of stuff

But when we get back from this trip I will have more to add to the supply I am sure!

We saw something on the Travel Channel one time that looked real cool.
Hopefully someday we can do a trip like that.

Just checked the DCL board and people on the Oct. 19th Wonder and Oct. 21 Magic are beginning to receive their docs. We should be getting our's soon!
