OMG! I had to work agin today and JUST caught up on all the chitty chat! WOW! Too many pages!

Todd another great healing help is warm teabags on the extraction sight. Just bite on them where the extractions are.

DD received DOCS today! Can you believe DCL addressed our envelope to our 9 year old DD.

We're joining the happy club as our docs also arrived today. Took a bit to break into the packaging but the treasure was inside!

Got our docs today...YEAH! :cheer2:
Okay, now I'm starting to get jealous! :rotfl: (Just kidding.) I'm really quite happy for everyone that's received their docs already. I know ours on on the way, too.

My sister Debbie, as of yesterday is questionable. She is having heart problems and the doctors are doing tons of tests to find out the problem. She has been to the ER twice in the last week by ambulance when her husband couldn't find a pulse on her. Please send pixie dust her way. This was to be her first cruise ever. More test results will be back this Friday.
OMG, I hope the find what the problem is. Prayers and pixiedust: to your sister and all your family!

Well I tried to call Mark both at work and on his cell. We got out docs!!!!!!!

The package is very small and includes a letter thanking us for filling out our docs online.
:dance3: More happy dancing going on here. I'm gonna start camping out on our porch until ours arrive.

WOW. THat was a hectic evening. Bad storms came through here. They passed through (or so I thought) and about 30 minutes later we headed to rehearsal.

Here was the plan. Drop Nick at rehearsal, drive to church. Drop KT off at youth group, drive back to rehearsal. Hope that rehearsal either gets out early enough so I can pick up KT on time or late enough so I can pick up KT and have time to get back to Nick (without someone having to wait special with him)

Well, I'm 1/2 way there and the sky starts looking NASTY. Then it starts POURING. I'm talking windshield wipers on full blast and you can still barely see. Then I'm 3/4 of the way there and it starts HAILING. That's LOUD on a car roof. I pulled over under a bridge and turned up the radio. TORNADO WARNING. TORNADO SPOTTED IN FRANKLIN COUNTY (where I was at the time!) :earseek: :earseek: :earseek:

Luckily 10 minutes later it let up but I did hear the tornado was just north of where I was (about 10 miles) :earseek:

Needless to say, I wasn't taking chances. KT didn't go to youth group. We just stayed put at the theater. I wasn't going out again. Amazingly, she didn't pitch a fit about it. :)
So glad y'all made it through the storms. I know how scary it can be to drive in such weather - did it once when I was in college.

do we need to fill out both the online docs and the docs received vis UPS???
We received our docs today and there is hardly anything to them other than the bahama form.... but we are doing the doc dance!

we are also doing the restore our PC dance as the desktop went kaput tonight - ugh!

First I hope all who experienced scary weather yesterday are safe and recovering. Wind and rain sure can cause a lot of damage. My DH and I have new found respect after last falls rains and this summers Microburst/Tornado.

Cruise docs arrived here yesterday, YAY! But still waiting for the glicee. Sheesh I had a TON of pages to catch up on 15 I think after just going to work yesterday. I knew we'd hit 20,000 but gee we sure are all chatty right now :teeth: As the excitement builds I have to take more care to contain myself at work and actually get work done! It's already getting hard to focus.

Have a great day...survivor tonight

YIPPEE!! I'm glad to hear that you got it, Stacy!!! I know that you were worried about the weather ruining it!!!

Knock on wood the postman actually used the big Package mailbox and left the key with our mail so we could get it.
He did a good think and didn't just leave it on my porch for all to see and the elements to get to.

Julie, Congratulations for post #20,000!

Chris, Congratulations for reply #20,000!

I knew we could do it!!!!!

I hope everyone who had the crazy weather is ok! Sounds like some crazy stuff going on weather wise. Knock on wood everything and everyone is ok.

We had a busy night. Ran home after work to change, then we had to pick Nick up at the Bowling Alley at 5:30pm, he does the after school bowling club and the school busses them over after the school day ends. Out to Red Robin to get a bite to eat since we still haven't done our weekly food shopping after that crazy camping trip weekend, then straight to Boy Scouts by 7pm.
Just to make it home about 9pm and have to read about 20 pages on the thread! :faint:

Good morning Member Cruisers
- we sail in 17 days!

16 days until the pre-cruise DIS meet in the Solarium at Beach Club!

party:

Woo Hoo - we are in the teens!

Remember you can get a copy of the navigator on the web site!

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Tip Of The Day

Making a list of who to send a postcard to from Castaway Cay? Don't forget yourself!

A postcard from Castaway Cay is a great addition to your scrapbook and will bring back the memory of the cruise after you get home. Have each member of your party sign their name - the kids will love it!

You'll find a few free postcards in your desk drawer in your room and a wider selection for sale up in the gift shop.

You'll need cash to mail them (one of the few things on the cruise you'll need actual cash for) as they need Bahamian stamps so don't forget to take some with you on the island.

The post office is right where you get off the ship and there are often characters there posing for photos as well.

One thing to remember - patience. The postcards come on island time - which means it could be a month or more before you get them! But it is worth the wait! :)

Karen - very scary about the storms you went through. Glad to hear that you and the kids are ok. It was scary enough when it went through here at home, can imagine driving in it.

Good morning everyone!

Hey Curt - when are you going to remove another panel???????

Geez, yesterday seemed to be a wrotten day!

I got a phone call at work that my mom had tried to get out of her wheelchair and fell down. They sent her to the hospital "just in case" Well that "just in case" was in fact! She broke her right hip!

Running joke in the ER..........they did such a great job on her left hip in June that she wanted her right one done!

Pixie Dust and Prayers to all who need them!

This time I had the Dr. promise that he would release her from the hospital before and during my trip!

HUGS
