I was really surprised when Walker said he wanted to go. He went in the spring to see the Incredibles with a friend and enjoyed it. I'm hoping he likes this as much.

It's Mommy/Walker weekend as Gary & Cameron are off camping this weekend with Boy Scouts.

Walker has soccer at 5 & then we are off to a 7 p.m. performance.

Walker & I are selling Cub Scout popcorn tomorrow morning outside the grocery store. Is anyone interested in any? If not, maybe you'd be more interested in a pine wreath that Cameron's selling for Boy Scouts. It never stops around here.

Oohh, sounds like fun for Walker to get to spend the weekend with you. I'm hoping that Chris can spend some time with the girls this weekend, since they've missed him all week. Poor Madison woke up at 3am, just asking for her daddy. She'll be happy to see him tonight!!

I was a fan of ER from the very beginning and loved Dr. Carter. They lost me during the season where Dr. Green was dying. Just haven't watched much since they.


Missed CSI last season (can't remember what I was watching against it but I know I didn't watch it). Watched it last night and liked the subtle exchange between Sara and Grissom (I had read about the ending here on the DIS). It was so sad to see Katherine go through all that. I would have put my clothes on and ran. To have to take all the evidence on yourself - so sad.

Just a reminder that tonight is cruise chat. Karen should be back so I don't have to stay in the main room. Do we want to try for one of the other rooms? If so I suggest we get together at 8:30 Eastern to make sure we get one. They fill up fast.

I like the idea of a private room only because we'll have less people that way and can talk just about our cruise.

Thoughts? Suggestions?

I will miss chat once again! DD has karate and I have a dinner date with DH!

We were talking about it this morning and we were trying to figure out how long it had been since we watched it. From the beginning we watched religiously every week. Then after Dr. Greene had his thing (and George Clooney left, and Sherry Stringfield left) then it was over for us.

I need help with music!!!

I have a wonderful copy of BeanoC's cruise mix cds and we are using one of the songs on our wedding CD (gift in welcome bags) and I don't know the name of it or who sings it but I think they play it on the ship.

Some of the lyrics are "welcome to our family time, there is nothing complicated about the way we live, we're all here for each other, happy to give, all we have we share..... welcome to our family time....."

anyone know more about it?

OK. Once again, I'm coming to my friends for advice. What do I do? Here's the story....

Earlier in the week, I had to run out as soon as Bruce got home so he called from the car and I told him to just grab some Wendy's. It's right around the block. So he comes home and gives me my standard Spicy Chicken Sandwich, no mayo, no tomato. Because I'm a freak, and the people that work at Wendy's are morons, I always check my sandwich for mayo before I bite in. I opened up the bun and there was a dead fly lying there. Alrighty, trash...appetite lost, no dinner.

So today, Julia was totally fine after she brushed her teeth so we packed up and went to the mall. I'm prefacing this by saying--different Wendy's, different town. Stop for lunch, grab Wendy's. Open the Spicy Chicken Sandwich to inspect for mayo---all clear. Bite. Raw chicken. You know when your teeth break the surface of a chicken sandwich and you can feel the moist oil laden chicken. Nope--raw. Not frozen, but definitely no where near cooked. Now I have raw chicken in my mouth. The same mouth that almost ate a fly earlier in the week.

So, OK, lesson learned....no more Wendy's in any town for me. I mean what are the chances. It wasn't like it didn't taste good, it wasn't even edible. I didn't go back with the fly, didn't call, didn't keep it. I thought it was a fluke. I didn't go back with the raw chicken, was too grossed out and holding back the vomit, I just wanted to get home and sterilize my mouth. I'm going to try to call Corporate Wendys and tell them my nasty tale because really on the local level I don't think they care. Should I send a written complaint to the department of health or something? I mean---that's just nasty!!!

ETA--I called Wendy's while typing this and the stupid voice message goes round and round and you can't get a person. Now it's telling me they close at 5. Now there's a seriously nasty letter in their future. If I have to go through the trouble of typing the letter--I'm cc'ing everyone and their mother!!

Mary - I'm with you! We should go to another room. That way there will be less interruptions. I won't be staying too late though since we are heading to Philly again tomorrow.

Also, thanks for the tips. I never even thought about getting extra luggage tags last year. I will definitely get some this year.

Julie, Idea... Pop the original CD into a PC and let it pull the info from the internet...

PS, If you haven't made all of the copies, I have access to a CD Duplicator. It doesn't do the labels, but is 16X or more for copying* (*only to be used on material you have the right to duplicate)

I'd have been back at the counter so fast I'd have been a blur. NO WAY I'd let that pass unmentioned. Raw chicken is not healthy and Wendy's needs to be reminded of that. Do you still have the sandwich? I'd be heading back!

No No, sorry, I wasn't still in the restaurant, I was in the car already like 3 miles down the road on the highway when I noticed. (I'm a eat n drive gal) I would have had to go to the next exit, pay the toll, turn around then get back on the highway, pay another toll.....it would have cost me more than the sandwich did! I did not save the sandwich either. I chucked it in the trash when I stopped at Target. I was so repulsed I wasn't thinking, well I was thinking raw chicken lying in my car. I realize I should have saved the fly too.
