Yea the maggot story was the HIGH point of my day!! Made me think what was so wrong with GI Joe? He didn't have hair to cut, it was already to the scalp. He didn't have a "GI tract" to worry about. All he "represented" was traveling to faraway places, meeting exotic people and killing them.

Eee yeeeewwww on the doll stories. I KNEW there was a reason I didn't play with dolls. That must have been it. I played baseball/football and such with they boys. Not too many girls in our neighborhood when I grew up.

Hoping the fitness center will be having something to offer. Running around deck 4 was ok, but I thought I'd like to give the center a try.

(1) The pic will be posted on even numbered days sometime before NOON. 16 frames x every other day = 32 days. SOMEBODY should be able to figure this sucker out by then! Several DisSers have expressed interest but are prohibited from checking in at work so I MIGHT post it early, just depends if I am working or awake....

(2) NO HINTS

(3) The first DisSer to post the correct answer wins. Limit one guess per DisSer (come on out lurking spouses) per day.

I guess that means nobody has guessed the right movie yet today?

For those interested here is the day one "stats" for THE CHALLENGE

There were 15 guesses, with one repeate guess. Not surprising there was no winner today. Lets see what we do with another round of guesses. The next of the 16 panels will be coming off on Wednesday before noon. (Sorry, panel #2 ain't gonna help much either.)

Our son has an interview with his first Fire Dept. He never seemed to be interested in what I did but apparently it made an impact on him. He took the EMT class last year and has applied at a couple of Fire Depts. He also has a test later this month for another FD.
Coleen is a little nervous as it can be a dangerous job (and I guess so am I) but I am also very proud and honored he wants to follow in my career path.

So it could be a fourth generation of FF in our family tree. My grandfather signed up as a volunteer in 1951, on the department I am a member of. I had an uncle who was a FF in Columbus Ohio and now he is interested. Must be something in the blood I guess.
