The first weekend as in the 2nd & 3rd or the the 9th and 10th? We'll be out of town the weekend of the 9th and 10th.
The 2nd & 3rd for a few reasons. First, there's a HUGE craft fair every year at the Rosemont Convention Center that I always love to go to, and it's that weekend. My nephew's first birthday is the 9th, but because that's also the weekend of Emily's first Christmas choir concert, we decided to go the weekend before to celebrate.

So, I guess it works out well, if we do come up that weekend, since you'll be out of town the next weekend.

Connie love your Crocs. :cool1:

Gas just went down again and now it is .......$2.03. At this rate it will be under $2 by tomorrow. I am going to need gas soon but I keep waiting for it to go down more.

But what about the cost of INSURING said housing??? Isn't that through the roof? That is, if you can GET insurance?

U TOP!!!

pixiedust: pdfg

This is true and I couldn't get insurance because I must have just missed the insruance period by the time I called (early May). However, there is reform coming supposedly as this is a HUGE topic on the agenda of every politician running in this year's November elections. We are electing a new governor so I would hope some reform will come our way for this. This is just another reason to live more in-land and further North if possible.

Brooke and Jessica have an apt there too but I think it is around 1:30. We are using Disney transportation so I made their apts earlier in the day.
I wanted to have it as late as possible, because I'm really hoping to get Emily to rest for a little bit before her appt, since she'll be up late for MNSSHP.

Yes, that's entirely true, Karen!! And, imagine being over on the coast, like we are. Thankfully, we have USAA insurance, and so far, they've been GREAT!!!

We went to DQ the year of Member Homecoming. We'd been there before and Bruce loves the place. I'm not good at things like that and I don't like things I'm not good at :rotfl2: so Emma (who was 8 months old) and I sat at the internet cafe place and played there for a while. Your boys would definitely love DisneyQuest.

DQ might be closing in the future. I can't remember the dates I think some time late 2007 or early 2008 but they want to convert it to an ESPN Zone. This is not official but the rumors have gotten stronger over the past few months. The ESPN Club will close at the Boardwalk and who knows what will go in there. I can definitely see this happening because ESPN is the only restaurant at the Boardwalk you don't need reservations for so security cannot turn you away if you want to park there. They even let us in on July 4th this year. Of course, I ate at Flying Fish before heading to EC but others were there for the party/Fireworks hanging at the Boardwalk. The party they threw was pretty cool, a DJ and dance party on the Village Green lawn and plenty of entertainment all along the Boardwalk.

Would you all pray ,send pixie dust for all the Ford families today and the next comming months! It's really Bad!!

My thoughts are definitely with them. pixiedust: Ever since I started purchasing new cars I have only purchased Mercury Vehicles until this year when I bought Shawn a Ford Focus! ;)

Actually a few people in my office got into an argument with me during lunch yesterday. Someone asked me what kind of car I drove and I said a Mercury Montego and then I was asked why I didn't buy a Toyota because they are much more reliable. I said I would never buy a foreign car and that my Mercury vehicles have always been reliable. It was so stupid because they were trying to tell me that Toyota's are made right here in the US and I said but after the salaries, utilities, etc. are paid the profits go to Japan and then it got nasty. I added that this is just my opinion and obviously everyone has a right to their own opinion but that didn't seem to matter to them.

Now Curt - you will notice that I only said you changed your vote. I didn't call you a cheater or claim that there was any wrong doing. The laughing smilie was because Stacey thought there was a 2nd vote for 5:30 seating and there wasn't any more.

Friends? :goodvibes

ok... I guess (you knows i loves ya - slugs shoulder)

Ok, so I just realized that I have just under 400 more posts to make it to 5,000. So, I'm going to do my part to at least get to 5,000 in the next 5 weeks. I figure that's about 11 posts a day, which is entirely possible for me. :thumbsup2

I don't know if you can do this Amy! You are usually so quiet! :rotfl2: (just kidding)!

:cool1: Ok, caught up. Only took three hours. Luckily the phone only rang a couple of time and only one or two walkins.

My hopes go out to the Ford Families - may the coming months go smoothly. I am also in a period of transisition the Army installation I work for did NOT survive the last round of Base Realignments. I have no IDEA where I will be working in the next 24 months so I can understand the apprehension that you are feeling. Michigan is tough - we'll get through this and then move on to the next problem.

I hope things work out well for you too Curt! My dad went through the same thing back in the 70's and he didn't make it through. It was a very difficult time for our family and I'm sure it will be tough for many others. pixiedust:
