Hey, Question... Do I need to bring a jacket for Triton's?
:figment:

I have the same question. Also, do I need a jacket for Palo brunch?

For Tritons I'm going with chino's & a polo. Never had a prob with that. PALO's on the other hand - yup tie & jacket.

Palo bruch should be slightly relaxed. Chinos and a polo should do the trick. Brunches are more casual than dinner. Business brunches? All bets are off

Total cost: $0.02

1) What is your packing strategy? (do you pack a week ahead, the night before, the day you leave, etc.)I'll start packing 2 weeks ahead of time.So I can clean the house. My in-laws are staying at our house with the kids.

2) Do you have any pre-vacation rituals?Well, I guess one. I don't cook dinner the night before we leave. It's pizza night or some other take out food!

3) What deck are you on for this cruise and what do you like best about that location? We are on deck 5.Deck 5 right in the middle to every thing!:thumbsup2

4) What category are you in and what made that your choice?I saved points this time. We were going for a cat.11 but got a secret porthole room instead !:cool1: About the same in points and I'll know what the weather is like too!:thumbsup2

5) Where are you staying the night before and why did you choose that location? We are staying at YC. The party bus leaves from BCV or BC ,just closer. It will also get me to Epcot faster!:teeth: :drinking1

I know what you mean, Julie! Chris wore his coat, but after seeing SO many in just shirts/ties, he hung his on the chair. He's not a BIG fan of dressing up, but he'll do it when the situation calls for it. He even bought a tux when we went on our 7 night cruise a few years ago and he wore it for both formal & semi-formal night (now he did have mickey vests to go with).

My kinda guy!:thumbsup2

Ok I'm gonna cool it for a little while - didn't think that I would have 16 responses (I even lost a couple with all the open windows.)So I'm gonna lurk, catch up and see what else has been going on in the past 48 hours.

Would you all pray ,send pixie dust for all the Ford families today and the next comming months! It's really Bad!!

Definately Chris - I went through it when Sears closed their catalog. Are you guys directly effected?

Iluvdisney would be in the same boat too!

I'm sorry to hear it Chris, hopefully he can weather it.

My only advice, don't look at moving to another US automaker. I'd expect GM to be right behind them. Gas prices are totally killing their big dollar vehicles.

Thanks Mark! He's hoping to ride it out! He has 15yrs in Jan.. His brothers work for GM

How Neat!!
My Nick would probably love to win something like that.
I would just be afraid he would come home with a bunch of outfit and then would try to dress up the cats. Those poor furballs go thru a lot having to live in this house.

I just KNOW I'm gonna like this kid!!

Geez, double ouch then. It's not a friendly climate for the suvs. Gas being so expensive a lot of people are deciding the space isn't worth the cost anymore, and those have been the staple product for the big two. At least Ford had some inkling in dropping the Excursion, GM simply announced another 'redesign' of their fullsizes thinking that'd help somehow. The bottom line now is mileage. I work in a very upscale area, lots of sahms running around all day. Used to be lots of Ford and Gm fullsizes, mostly the Navigators and such. Now I'm seeing more and more of these in between mini-v types.

1) What is your packing strategy? (do you pack a week ahead, the night before, the day you leave, etc.)I'll start packing 1-2 weeks before. I get all the items we won't be using at home first and then as we get closer I pack everything else.

2) Do you have any pre-vacation rituals?I usually get a pedicure during the day. We spend the night at my parents because they watch the dog, make us dinner and they take us to the airport in the morning.

3) What deck are you on for this cruise and what do you like best about that location? We are on deck 6. I prefer deck 5 in a Cat. 8 or 10 (sph).

4) What category are you in and what made that your choice? We are in a category 11 because the points were kinda high. I am not sure about not having a window, but it is only 4 days.

5) Where are you staying the night before and why did you choose that location? We are staying at BCV before and after the cruise. DD wanted to stay there because of the pool. DH and I wanted to stay closer to the food and wine festival.

Exactly one month from right now we'll be settling into our rooms (or hopefully already sleeping) at BCV for our week before the cruise. But look who can't wait...

I've had a pretty hectic week and haven't posted too much so for anything I've missed along the way pixiedust:

Five weeks from right now my plane will be in the air headed to Disney!! party: I'm so excited!!!!
Can you believe it? Only 5 more weeks!!!

In honor of Friday and the new cruisers joining us I think it is time for another round of GTKYKFC (or Getting To Know Your Krazy Fellow Cruisers).

1) What is your packing strategy? (do you pack a week ahead, the night before, the day you leave, etc.)
Well, I would love to pack a week ahead, but usually I end up packing a little before, but most is the night before.

2) Do you have any pre-vacation rituals?
I like to try to clean the house before we leave. Chris thinks that I'm weird, and if I don't have time (because I procrastinated), then I won't be late to finish cleaning, but I try to get it done. Also, I try to get a haircut before we leave too.

3) What deck are you on for this cruise and what do you like best about that location?
We're on deck 5 forward in one of the SPH rooms. We love it because it's just a short walk to the kids club and nursery. And, it's quiet.

4) What category are you in and what made that your choice?
Cat 10 - SPH, because we were able to snag it.

5) Where are you staying the night before and why did you choose that location?
We are staying at BCV in a studio the night before. We picked it so that the girls can play in the pool during the day, since we'll probably skip the parks that day. Plus, we'll be close to the pre-cruise DIS meet.

Ours got here just this week, Karen was a leeeeetle miffed about missing out on the 10% off coupon code. She's a little moody this week , the Tigers are down to a one game lead over the Twins. Shhh don't mention that.
