This morning I broke my baby toe on my left foot by stubbing it on the footboard of my bed. My own fault, I should have put on my slip on shoes. This hasn't been my year. I broke 2 ribs in May.

Tape it to the toe next to it for a couple weeks. You should be fine by cruise time. Hope it feels better fast.

Ok, it's been an exhausting day, and I'm ready to go to bed.

I started out early this morning to LOTS of heavy rain on my way to bring Emily to school. Then, Madison and I were off to JoAnn's for some spools of ribbon for a project that I'm working on for my trip to Phoenix next week. Then, we ran to Sears to look for some coordinating clothes for family pictures. Next, off to my doctor's appt to review my blood tests (overall ok, but a few things I need to work on). Then, off to Target and Publix and back home for some lunch. Then, my mom came over to watch Madison while I went to get my hair done (highlights and haircut) and as soon as I got out there, I was almost late picking Emily up from school. Back home again for a little bit of relaxation (only about 2 hours). Then, we went to Sears for family pictures and Emily's 5th birthday pictures. Dinner at McDonald's because Emily just kept begging for it and I gave in. Then, back home to put the girls to bed and crash to watch BB. Right as I started to watch it (an hour late, but on the DVR), Chris mentions that he never saw Tuesday night. So, I watched that again with him and we watched tonights episode. Then, I just sent Chris off to Walmart of redeem the rest of my Coke coupons from the Olympics promotion.

So, needless to say, I'm SO tired!! I'll have to catch up with the thread tomorrow morning. Nighty, night all!!!

I went to Walmart tonight to try to use the rest of my coke coupons too but they would only let me use one. The cashier said it was one coupon per purchase and I'd have to leave the store and go back in! I wasn't in the mood to argue so I just got 5 bottles and then stopped at the grocery store where I picked up 10 more bottles. When I got home, there was a message from Shawn saying he forgot all about using the 10 coupons I gave him and when he went to the grocery store they would only let him use 1 coupon per visit so he ended up giving away the other coupons! I think I ended up not using 4 coupons but considering that I won a whole bunch I don't think that's too bad. I just wish they didn't expire so soon. I ended up giving a lot of them away too.

Yeah Friday!! Today is supposed to be our only nice day as Ernesto is coming to town. I have a doctor appt at 8 and then I think it's time to open up that ebay closet again and get organized!

Thanks for the instructions, just trying out my new signature line. I leave in the morning for work but then at 12:30 to go on a camping trip with 19 other families. We are going to the Berkshires, we go every Labor Day weekend. It's bittersweet because dd usually goes with me but I'm taking two female friends and alot of knitting this year. Hope everyone has a wonderful holiday weekend. I'm hoping we stay mostly dry but that isn't likely with the hurricane headed our way. Oh well I have a pop up that we can sit and knit in so I'm all set except for packing it up and setting it up so I hope those times are dry ones!

We have a very busy weekend coming up. Our town has their annual labor day festival which spreads out 3 days. We're doing volunteering for Boy Scouts at 7 a.m. Sunday morning, I'm doing Cub Scouts from 9-2 Sunday, Walker is doing Cub Scouts 11-2 Sunday, Walker & Gary are walking in the parade on Monday, afterwards Cameron's doing cleanup along the 1 1/2 mile stretch of the parade when it's over, Cameron & Gary are doing pop, ice & water delivery for Boy Scouts from 4-8 on Monday and Walker & Gary are selling pizza for Adventure Guides from 12-2:20 on Monday. Come Tuesday, we're going to be glad to get back to work & school.

Cameron asked me yesterday morning if we get to have any "fun" at the fest. Yep, that would be Saturday morning when we take the kids with their friends to the carnival and Saturday night when the kids stay home and Mom & Dad go with Mark & Mary to hear Gary Sinisi & the Lt. Dan Band play. Anyone else want to come out and join us???

Ouch!!!

I broke my big toe last fall. The first time it was out of anger and I kicked something to try and get it out of my way. Bad move. Then about a week later, just as it was starting to feel a little better, I walked around the corner and stubbed it again on Gary's shoes which he had taken off and left there. It hurt worse the second time around, but then in a couple of days, it started feeling so much better. I wondered if I actually wacked it back into position. I had no idea until then how much a toe can hurt. It was one of those cases where I should have gone to the doctor but by the time I realized I should have gone, it was too late.

I can see Cindy cringing now as she reads about the broken toe.

Hmmm, Gail, since I have gone to Mark & Mary's and with any luck, I'll be invited again, maybe we can work out a deal. How many konk koolers is it worth?
