Roxann - we're going to have to call you our transportation queen as you are also doing the Wishes cruise!

A great big thank you for taking it on!
Ok, who's going to bring the tiara for Roxann for our resident transportation queen????

I'm not sure either how you got this job, but I too am thankful.

I think we could probably take a vote and keep you in your current position as well. :thumbsup2 ;)

Looks like you get to keep the job of organizing the Party Bus :woohoo: You're doing a great job and we really appreciate it.

Cindy - you know we'll be happy to bring any box or bag home for you. No problem. I do think this could work to get your luggage and ours over to Boardwalk easily.

After all isn't that what DIS friends are for!

Absolutely!!!

We are a lucky group! :disrocks:

We also have our Expedition and I'm sure that we can help some people move some luggage around to different resorts!!

WDWLVR said:
Thanks Annmarie - that could work. We'd still have to have some of us walk over as there is no way we are getting 6 people and all our luggage in our Subaru.

Don't forget Walker and Cameron go on top!!!:lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: :lmao:

Stacy - Is that the Olive Garden on Wolf Road? I worked across the street a little over a year ago.

That would be the one since I work on the State Office Campus next to SUNY Albany. I love the Soup & Salad lunch. The Zoupa Toscana is my fave!!

At 23 people the round trip shuttle is $31.30 per person

I will keep adding people for another week. Then I will start collecting money from everyone to pre-pay for the shuttle. I will need to pay by credit card when I reserve the shuttle. Those of us that will be using ME to and from the airport can call with airline info. at the 2 month mark into MS.

All you guys on the party bus are going to have a blast!! Wish we could join you but since we are driving our own car and staying at OKW before and BWV after, I'm not sure how the parking situation would work out.

We'll for sure put a magnet on our SUV and look for the bus when we're on the road! Anybody else still driving themselves to the port, or is everyone jumping onto the bus?

I know the party bus sounds like fun but we are driving too. We are OKW before and VWL after. We're planning on going to Kennedy Space Center the day we return from the cruise. Where do you get the supplies to make the bumper stickers? :car: :car: :car: :car:

I have a suggestion for Roxann - if she can put the cost of the bus on a Disney Visa - maybe she can use the reward points to go to the spa!!! :cloud9:
Just a thought...

Chris

OK, I called to ask about parking at the BWV before the cruise without staying there as I have a room at Pop Century (aka Scopa Towers) and was told yes by one person and no by another. So, I saw this as an opportunity and excuse to go to WDW and play Millionaire, then go over to the Boardwalk and ask at the front desk since when you call you don't always get the actual front desk. There was a line at the front desk when I arrived so I went to the concierge desk and asked there instead. I explained the situation to Heather and once I identified I was a member and staying on points she came up with an idea that will solve a good portion of our problems for parking. She said to Valet park the cars since it's free for members and the lot is more secure. She said to tell them that it won't be picked up for days and to keep a close watch on it. Of course my devious side couldn't help but think of Ferris Bueller's Day Off at this suggestion. Then I was talking to my mom and telling her how I would walk over to the Beach Club when it dawned on me that we have Valet there as well. So, I figure I'll park at the Beach Club during the cruise and drive back over to the BWV after.

Ilene and anyone else at Pop Century - I can drive you over to the Beach Club on the 22nd.

So, Roxann - Count me in for the party bus.

Glad to have you along!

So, no one needs a special parking pass for BCV? As long as we are DVC members we can valet park @ BCV during the cruise? Great job Jeff! I love someone on the inside!:thumbsup2

I don't know. I will call Mears tomorrow. Do you need a lift? Or just enough space to store a scooter (ECV)? Do the scooters colapse or fold at all? Have you taken Disney transfers before with the scooter?

That's great news! That will make it a lot easier for everyone who has a car.

I am so jeoleous!! :upsidedow

Not only did you go to WDW Saturday and Sunday, but you popped over there last night too. I count that to be three times in a week!!

I'm having WDW withdrawal -- we all know that reality feeling when we just get back. Mine is at a big time high this morning. :sad1:

But.....it won't be long before we're there again. :cool1:

Hi Chris

I hadn't realized that your MS progressed to the point where it's difficult for you to get around. I'm so sorry to hear that. pixiedust:
