Sadly we don't have another Disney vacation planned beyond this one. But there was a time when we had FOUR trips planned in a 13 month period. I believe one of them was SSMC03!

David wants to retire to Florida, too. He wants a job not just with Disney, but specifically with DVC. I've heard those jobs are actually hard to come by. The thing is, he has trouble with the humidity levels we get here in Big D. I can't imagine him living in Florida with even higher levels.

Robin - I want to move to FL and work for DVC too! I have heard the same thing about these jobs being hard to come by since they usually hire from within first and so many people who work at WDW want to work for DVC.

We’re originally from the Chicago area; lived in Glenview, IL until 1997 when we moved to Pinckney, MI outside of Ann Arbor. AKA: the gateway to Hell (MI) as featured in a Jeep commercial a few years back. Anyway, we're now in St. Louis, moved here in 2002 and very diehard Cub and Bear fans (thus cubbybear1)
We have 2 grown sons and two granddaughters ages 9 & 4. We’ll all be returning home this spring for a week at OKW. It seems we’re always planning our next vacation even before we take the current one.
Our dream is to retire to Florida and work at WDW. Doesn't everyone!!

I think that sounds really reasonable....as long as shipping is reasonable. I could see spending $2.50-$3.00 a bag, but if shipping is $6 on 4 bags, then you're talking $4 a bag. Ick.

I lost a squishy thing to my iPod headphones last time I went camping. We have NEVER seen them at retail places and Sony didn't carry them on their website (figures) but I found them on ebay. Well, I HAD to have them b/c it HURT to jam a headphone in my ear without the squishy thing. They charged me something like $5.00 for shipping (which I knew about in advance, so I can't grumble) but they ended up coming in a regular envelope with about $0.60 of postage on them. SHUCKS. For THAT price at LEAST give me a padded envelope!!!!

I was just curious - how did you find "ipod squishy thing" on e-bay??

All I'm gonna say is Boogie is nasty and Erica is nastier. I think they deserve each other but neither deserves the cash prize. Maybe they really did come into the house a couple and this whole thing was an act? I don't know, but act or not, he said some nasty things about her.....he's a slimeball.

I'm rooting for Dr. Will and Janelle in the real world. I really think she likes him and I heard that Erin Brodie dumped him!

Update on job prospect...well it looks like the job opportunity is on again. Sheesh. I still have to pass a physical though on the 12th so we'll see. I'm not even sure I can put that many hours in (52/wk). At my age I was hoping to cut back not increase But maybe temporarily I can handle this. I will have to most likely cut back on computer use and hire someone to clean my house (awww, darn it). I'm most concerned about vacation time though going from 5 wks / year (which I mostly banked though) to 2 wks is tough.

LOL I agree, they are both nasty, but I think that Will and Mike played the game the best this summer so I think Mike should win. If they vote on game play I'm pretty sure he will.... but who knows.

Janelle is sleezy to me - but who knows, maybe she and Will will hook up on the outside. She wised up a bit to late but it was awesome to watch!

With all our posting yesterday I didn't realize it was a milestone day. Yesterday was the one year anniversary of the start of the thread. Yep, last year on September 6th is when Jim Lewis announced the 2006 Member Cruise while on the 2005 cruise. As soon as we got out of the talk Robin started this thread.

This calls for a celebration!!!

Wow, it really was a big day yesterday. That is so cool that we hit 1000 pages, 15000 posts, and the one year anniversary of this thread all on the same day!

Stacy, Unlike some at our table I won't laugh if you start burping (truth is this happens to me sometimes).

For those wondering about the Cars at Indy Speedway attraction, Yes I did hear this from several people including a CM a few weeks back. I thought Cars was going to be at Millionaire but that will be a Toy Story ride (why do we need another, we have Buzz Lightyear already?).

I'm forgeting something but this wasn't bad for remembering about 25-30 pages.

I'll answer the GTKYFKC questions when I get home from work.

I'm impressed - how did you remember all those things! I agree with all your posts to everyone (wedding dress, cancellation, surgery, scrapbook, etc). I just can't remember them all to get one big post done! Kudos to you for a great memory!!
