Isn't it crazy that we kept bumping into each other in the parks afterwards? I remember we met you in the Land at Epcot, and we met Amy just about everywhere we went! :rotfl2: The funniest thing was the day we were leaving, before going to the airport, we took the girls to see Playhouse Disney one last time. So we're sitting on the floor, singing along waiting for the show to start and I look over, and there they were again!
I know, it was funny. I also ran into Lisa a couple of times too! I guess since our kids are the same ages, we tend to run to the same types of stuff. :rotfl2:

Is anyone a soccer fan and will be watching the World Cup starting later this week? When I heard that all the games were being broadcast in HDTV, I decided it was time to bite the bullet and buy a big screen TV to watch the games. Well, it came today, but I won't get to watch for two weeks, since I'm in California until then. Ironic, isn't it? Now the key question is do you think that Disneyland's ESPN Club will open early to show the England - Paraguay game that will be broadcast here at 6:00am on Saturday?

I'll be watching! I'm the sports fan of this family and I can't wait! I played soccer for 13 years so I love soccer! We have a big screen (60") but it's not HDTV, but I'm sure I'll enjoy the games plenty!!

I posted this tread earlier on the DVC- planning board.
Then I thought that this tread could help on the decision.
My dilemma is cancelling or try to rent/sell the reservation out.
I know I can get the cash part back with no problem from Disney, but I hate to loose the points i used, since they got converted in "reservation" points and can't be banked for next year or used for DVC properties.
Thanks for the help,
docbrown

Advice needed
First I apologize if I posted in the wrong spot.
Planning looked the most appropriate.
DH and I and 2 DDS have a reservation for the next DVC members cruise,
for a cat 4/ deluxe family with verandah, booked with cash and points.
Now of course plans are changed because the kids fall break won't be that week.
What should I do?
Can I try to sell and transfer this reservation to another member interested?
Can I even do that?
Assuming yes, Does it have to be a DVC member or could I sell it on the rent/trade board to anybody?
Am I correct that I would not be able to deposit my points back to my account been those converted into reservation points?
Thanks for any input,
docbrown

Oh, sounds like such a sweet, heartwarming story! So sorry I'm going to miss it.

Amy and Stacy--In case you aren't checking the other thread, I mailed your Primas out to you today. Stacy, it was only 78 cents to mail it, I figured that was cheaper than the $3 a gallon gas. :lmao:

Cool beans!!! I can't wait to see my goodies!
I don't blame you for mailing them!

Well we saw it!!!
If you enjoy clasic suspense movies that have a few heart stoppers you will enjoy this movie. It wasn't all blood and gore like a lot of movies today.
I give it a Two Thumbs Up!
:thumbsup2 :thumbsup2

Well I finally found this thread again and have been able to post. For a short time it kept saying "server too busy" and I couldn't get on. My dh and I will be cruising but our roommates (my db and sil) had to cancel. So now I'm afraid we will be lonely :-( and thought I would appeal to all my fellow cruisers to help us feel welcome. Is there any reservations I should be making now? We will be staying at WDW post cruise until Oct.27 and it seems I read discussions of boat cruises etc being reserved. Will there be a park meet too? Please fill me in I'm feeling a little out of the loop.
Also is there anyone that would like to have two more nice disney people at their dining table, we have early time slot and would love to dine with others.
Thanks!

Warmly,
Ilene

OK how do you all read and manage your messages here? What settings should I use on the User CP etc. Do you have to read them online or can you get them delivered to your computer email program? Thanks again.

Warmly,
Ilene

Good morning Ilene - glad you found us!

I just visit the thread whenever I'm online. If you go to the main listing on the cruise meets board and there is a blue checkmark before the title of the thread that means new messages. If you click on it then you should be taken to the first unread message. If you set it up to go to e-mail you will have a lot of e-mails! :)

Cindy (cgcw) is the one organizing early dining so drop her a line with your info.

Roxann is organzing a wishes cruise as a grand gathering for the night of 10/27.

There are a number of DISers planning to do MNSSHP at the Magic Kingdom on 10/26.

If you haven't already done so send me a picture and your info to member2006@monorailgreen.info

Here is the link to the web page that has the photo gallery as well as lots of other info for the group. We will try and keep it updated with any new things that are planned.

Welcome to the group, Ilene!!! We're glad that you're here. Also, there is some talk about a group banana boat ride on Castaway Cay. And, we have a group logo and Diana (Diana Lyn) has arranged a CafePress store, where you can get lots of stuff.

See this post.

And finally, if you have kids going with, send me a PM with their information, as we have a kids list going too.

We ALWAYS have room for more on this thread!!! Jump right in and make yourself welcome!!!

I remember meeting up with you in the Land. I offered to watch the kids while you and Bruce rode Soarin together -- as there was no way I was going on it that trip. :rotfl2: I thought it was something very different than it was and the idea of it scared the pants off of me.

I also remember running into Gail & John at the MK the Thursday night we came back to WDW. The parks were empty and we were in the same spot many times.

I can't answer your question, Sandy, but I will tell you that you are going to love your big screen TV when you get home. Even with the little bit of TV I watch, it is SO nice. :thumbsup2

Hi Ilene :welcome:

I already have you listed as asking to be linked with other DIS'er for dinner. If there is someone you feel you'd be a good match with, feel free to PM them and see if they already have a dining partner.

Keep reading, keep posting and have fun getting ready for the cruise. :cheer2:
