2006 dining package "bonus"

Just got my confirmation in the mail for January and my dining package also includes 1 free meal voucher and a free merchandise voucher - both at Planet Hollywood. The meal voucher is 1 meal, not 1 per person, and is good for "select menu items". The CM read the available menu items and I know it included any burger.

I'm going in 2006 and didn't get any "bonus" Meal or merchandise vouchers.

Really? I wonder why.
When I called to ask about it, the CM said I had pkg YOO (this is on my confirmation also). I did not give a code to them. I originally made my ressie online for Dec, and called and changed it. I wonder if that has anything to do with it. How did you make your reservations?

The Disney Website lists this as a bonus for 2006. It looked like a great perk!

That merch voucher may be something PH threw in. I only say that because I've had them before (not booked through Disney). Mine was something like $5 off a $25 purchase or a free keyring with a purchase. I got them because I worked for a tour operator that did packages to Disney, and we got the same vouchers our customers did. I hope you get a better merchandise voucher than I did.

My package is YOL and I also got the Meal Voucher and Merchandise Voucher.
I'd call them Dreamin and see what they say about it.

I think the meal and merchandise vouchers take the place of the photopasses that were on our original package reservations for January.

As I understand it the meal voucher is one per package. My IL's are going with us and they also got the same change in their package. What I'm not sure about is if because they're in separate rooms if we get 2 vouchers for the whole meal or just one. Might want to rethink our ADRs for that one.

I just called disney and I do have this in my pkg too. She said when I booked our vacation this was not offered but it's been added. Thanks!
