When do they tape the Christmas Day parade at Disneyland?

Last year it was the Friday before Thanksgiving. Disneyland tends to be very hush-hush about the tapings. I only knew because one of the parade performers told me.

They had a lot of the paths to the castle roped off and a stage set up while we were there the week after Thanksgiving. They also taped some of the parade that week also.
