Scott...just so you know....this Canadian travelled to Walmart in the States to get her Harry Potter book....I have all the US versions of the books....WAY better covers than the Canadian ones....$17.78...couldn't go wrong!!!!!

As soon as I finish reading the latest posts on our cruise threads I'm going to read....I gotta finish this book soon....I have to know how it ends....it's killing me.

I have a friend who will read only the British version of the books, she says they lose something in translation to "American", and yes, they do change some of the wording for the "American" version.

Wow, I guess I have a lot of catching up to do on the boards! I hope everyone is doing well. It's good to see everyone still chatty!

Amy and I made our regular stop at Costco the morning it was released to get her new Harry Potter book. She finished it within a few days. She went through withdrawals after she finished it. I've only made it as far as the fourth book.

I can't wait to see how the new Harry Potter themed section at Islands of Adventure turns out. The conceptual artwork I've seen looks great. It will be difficult leaving 'The World' for a day to check it out.

Hello all,
Just a quick note to say that I haven't fallen off of the face of the earth. Life is busier than usual.

I was wondering if any of my disfriends could help me out with something? I am going to get a tattoo of either the scroll work and new logo that is on the new DCL buses or the scroll work from the bow of the Magic. I cannot find a decent photo of the scroll work from the Magic online and was wondering if anyone could post an up close shot? Or a some what up close shot?

I'm just trying to decide which I want to live with forever...

I plan on having it done it black work. Robb and I have decided one of these two designs shall live on forever on my skin....

Thanks for the help, I'm getting back to the books!

If you want a picture of the new DCL buses....we will be at WDW soon and I'm sure I would be able to get one. The DCL buses were at POP all the time back in May.

Yes, I know I'm totally crazy. Peter, you don't know the half of it....I think I'm blowing off steam from my current life situation. Nothing horrid, I'm just needing to vent a little steam and I'm picking so unusual ways to do it.

Glad to hear that you got some work. I've been off of the radar for so long, I don't know what anyone is up to.

Celeste, you could use the basic design from the Magic, with Mickey in the middle, but not put all the other characters in the surrounding scrollwork, then it would not need to be so large to see the detail. Where are you putting this tattoo, that would also make a difference in the choise. If it is around your upper arm, it would need to be smaller than if it was across your lower back, for instance. Let us all know what you decide. When is the trip to Hawaii?

Hey Celeste....I'll be adding to my permanent Disney artwork next Friday....I'm very excited....I will post a picture after I get it done!!!!!!

I would vote for getting your tattoo done locally....that way if you ahve any problems or need it touched it, you can go back and they will be able to do it. If you had it done in Hawaii, it is possible if you needed a touch up, your local tattoo shop might use different inks....but then again it could always be your excuse to go back to Hawaii...."Robb...we have to go back to Hawaii...I need to get my tattoo touched up!!!!"
