I didn't know about the podcast, that's pretty cool! They didn't seem to be aware of the demand for Alaska cruises, but if they put a retractable roof on the pool deck, even of the Magic or Wonder, they'd be great! I know that helped when we were on the Holland America cruise, it kept wind off the deck so we could eat outside every day. If they do decide to do an Alaskan itinerary, we'll be there, that's for sure, and by then we may have a whole bunch of grandkids to take with us....!

On another note - I'm very happy to say that I've reached the half way point of my fundraising for the annual Arthritis Ride. As of today, I have raised $5,034 on my way to $10,000.

I'ts good to see you post! Ashley said you had been feeling better, so I'm happy. How are things with Harry? We pray for him daily...

yes, we had a good time with Ashley and Karen. It was a lot of fun.

Harry is very bad. He is in the hospital now and I hope I get to bring him home. Not sure about that. Had to call the ambulance 3 times last week and the third time I got him admitted.

I couldn't handle him with me healing also from my surgery and after he kept falling out of bed, my nurse, who takes care of me, kept coming over and helping me with him each time.

I will probably have my nurse for about 3 more months or so. Can't really predict that right now. At least I don't have to travel to Gainesville anymore. That was a nightmare for two months.

My new grandbaby was six months old last week. She is so cute. I still can't pick her up. But I can hold her.

Kaitlyn is growing like a tree - lol - she is 3-1/2 now. They sure are smarter than us, aren't they? Nothing gets past her.

Kay, my heart aches for you! I am so sorry to hear how poorly things are going for Harry. It is such a shame. I can't imagine trying to care for him, while you are in the condition you are in. Wish I lived closer to help out.

Glad to see you are taking joy in your grandkids!! They are lucky to have you and I am glad you can hold her- watch those arms and legs! It hurt when Noah kicked my c-section incision for 2 years. I can only imagine how it is for you!


I will keep both of you in my thoughts and prayers.

Thanks to each of you. The ambulance will bring him home at 1 pm today. They are putting together the hospital bed now. We will be brining in Hospice also. Lots of stress and decisions to be made. Just taking each day as it rolls around.
