Elaine, I kinda recall Ducky saying something about that.

Amazing to think it was just a year ago we were all heading to WDW and the cruise.

Vacation is good, I actually slept 10 hours. Last week at work was nuts and out flights down were fraught with problems. The resort is very very nice, well appointed rooms, and a friendly staff. The reef off the resort is pretty good, lots of fish and very healthy sponges and coral, just have to swim a ways to get to it. Found the local mini mart, front room of a house, a Cuban family runs it, I tend to find these kinds of places, get to know the locals and support them with my business.

Nice sunrise today, will see how the dive operation is.

Elaine: I remember Ducky talking about he only designed the hands(pointing to the floors) on the elevator numbers showing the floors for the ship.

I could be wrong, tho - anyone else remember that during any of his talks? He actually told us that when we were sitting in the Roy Suite talking one day and he was drawing us a picture

Just looking back on what we were doing last year, and came up with this juicy tidbit. It's from Leslie, and gee, I forget what the subject was...... :rotfl2: So, Leslie, I have a pic of Joe smiling in line..guess you kept him "happy"...of course, this WAS early in the cruise!!!!!!!! :rotfl: :rotfl: I especially like the part about "we've seen it all"!!!!!!
I am reading it to say ONE per GUEST... meaning you gotta be there to get that voucher. Historically yes, you gotta have a body there to get the one voucher per person... believe me.. there will be people there with babes in arms getting vouchers for them..... Otherwise what is to stop a person from saying..."yeah.. I have 6 kids back in the labs... I need vouchers for all of them..." Ask anybody that's been to pin events or special pin distributions..... we've seen it all.... and the stories we could tell......
Don't tell Joe but I am planning on dragging him into the lines... I just have to keep him well fed and .... uh.... happy...

WHAT.....no Walmart?!?!?!?!?!? Exactly where is this place...sounds like heaven!!! :thumbsup2

Yes...it's hard to believe that at this time last year...I only "knew" you guys on the boards.....what a difference a year makes....I think it's kinda "KEWL" that our thread is still going strong...1 year later.....

Gee...I guess if I run into Ducky the next time I'm in Florida like Leslie and I were lucky enough to in October....I will have to ask him about the menus....I do know that he drew the Mickey on the pendulum that is on the Times and Information Guide about WDW that is available in the restaurants around WDW....

Might have a change in positions with my job, weighing heavy on the mind, will decide over the weekend. Would push back retirement by 4 years instead of one. We will see.

By the way...Scott....you never told us....is it one more year to retirement or 4 more years?????

I too have to make a job decision...and need to decide what is more important to me...a job I absolutely love...or more money.....oh yeah...and if I want to study like crazy for 2 weeks to "write" the competition....

Yo, Elaine...Was it not you who suggested we have breakfast in our jammies 'cause it was a family tradition? If it was, what was the family occasion?....Couldn't have been Christmas morning...In May? ? ? :confused3

Hi Lynda...it was Linda's (seaulater) family tradition - they did it on the Christmas '04 cruise, but because she had so many other things on her plate...I agreed to organize the PJ breakfast for our cruise...I thought maybe 15 - 20 people would want to do it...I never imagined that we would have 65 Dis'ers agree to go to the formal dining room in their PJ's but I think it worked out great with the pin campout and all........also Daniel (the dining room manager on the Magic) hasn't forgotten our PJ breakfast.....he asked me in March if I needed a reservation for another PJ breakfast....I think I turned many shades of red!!!!

Should know more about the job by the end of the month.

Traded in Flip Flops for Crocs.

No Walmat, we are kinda remote here on the NW area of Grand Cayman. Could take a bus to George Town, but why, this is good.

Hope everyone had a great weekend. Not too much Cinco De Mayo or Kentucky Derby. :)

Been a good day. A little work, a little play....o.k. a little more than a little play.
Still nice out. Just sitting on the deck and watching the Jazz Fest and surfing. Saw Jimmy Buffett, Buckwheat Zydeco, Paul Simon...... Maybe a road trip next year.

Has anyone seen these stamps?
Guess I don't get to the post office very often.

<Click on the pic for the website>

:bday: Happy Belated Birthday Regina :bday:

Have a great evening and a WONDERful week.

Scott,
The resort you are staying at looks cool. I saw their kids dive schools and they really look awesome.

Hanging out at work, don't feel like working.

we had a good weekend, and a few more days to go.

Missed Cinco de Mayo, or chigers in the mayo. Only sea horses here.

Finally reading the Da Vinci Code. Had to wait for paper back, enjoying it.

Good dive operation and the shore diving is good.

Wireless at the bar, nice. Sunset soon.

Will look for the Magic Tuesday, what time do they leave port here on Grand Cayman?

Tracy says around Night time. :lmao: :lmao: :lmao: or 1630

1630, ok we will scan the horizion on tuesday, will report any sighting.

Debbie, getting excited huh, ask Off Kilter if they do "Minstrel Boy".

GOSH!!! I've missed everyone! I'm at work, so I'll have to re-read everything to see the pictures, as they are blocked on our browser.

My Mom has been in the hospital for the past week. Infection due to a spider bite (we think). The infection is just now getting under control. She will have to have another catscan to verify the presence of an abscess. It's been scary to watch the redness creep up her arm. Joe and I have been there when we haven't been at work. We did watch the Derby from the hospital room :goodvibes

Scott + Lynn: HAPPY VACATION!

Debbie: One week to go before your vacation :Pinkbounc

Bob: I love that Pooh + Friends picture! And I LOVE your signature! How did you design that picture? I want one too!!! :thumbsup2

Ah yes, May 14th, 2005. I pulled our my PC shirt to wear on the 14th. Over the weekend I also pulled out all the souvenirs from everyone :cloud9: I even re-read the poem of rht PC Crossing. That was one special day for us. I never thought we'd make it on that cruise. You guys pulled us through. Yes, I got all misty-eyed seeing all the gifts again.

Linda: Are you back from Hong-Kong?

Lynda: How's Little Bee's replacement coming along???

Kelli: My blinkie flip flops are sill blinking!

Elaine: Glad Dory's all healed up!

Regina: I know this is a bit late, but...

:wizard: pixiedust: :cake:  HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! :cake: pixiedust: :wizard:

:bday: :rainbow: :bday: :rainbow: :bday:
