I'd love to see MK's Space Mountain rebuilt. I was a little surprised it was Disneyland's that got the makeover instead. I always thought MK's showed it's age a lot more and would rather that have gotten rebuilt. DL's is now a lot more fun than it was though.

Something a lot different would be nice to see though!

Also, I was worried I would miss Elaine's birthday too. Isn't it already Monday in Canada?

We have switched our Med May 12th repro request from Cat 6 to Cat 9 on Deck 2... hope to save some spending $ that way. With the reports that the pricing is already off the first level, we don't know what to expect...

I've heard $500 pp deposit...

Hi Everyone!

Just to let you know, we were fortunate enough to be called from Inventory Control based on a 2004 waitlist request. Our pricing for 7/28 sailing was right smack dab in the middle of DCL's sailing pricing. Don't know if that helps anyone, but wanted to at least share the little info I know. We got 'outjuiced' for a cat. 1 (for any and all Med. sailings) by . That's ok, will help the pocketbook a bit. Especially since we can't even verify that James can get the time off of work for about a year! Doesn't matter though, I'll be on the ship......

Also re: Paula, I haven't heard back from her. I'm hoping this is a good sign and she was able to go back to Jamaica. Otherwise I think I'd have had another call from her.

Georgie-I am going to be in Tampa for meetings June 15 to the morning of the 17th. I am thinking of bringing Jamie with me and heading up to WDW Sat. at noon and flying out Sunday night the 18th. Want to try for another mini meet?

Can't wait for Tuesday to book our Med. cruise. I've been told that the prices WOULD NOT increase on Day 1 from what everyone has gotten that were on the "wait lists" that didn't exist. And I have it on good authority and have a name and number to go with it in case anyone has a problem.

I plan on calling DVC on Monday to ask about the inflated prices... just to see if they will say that all the level 1 are already gone. I've also been told the prices would not increase beyone the lower tier until the 5th.

Hello all,

After much thought- Robb and I decided not to book the Med cruise. We didn't want to use all of our DVC points and we really wanted to pay off what we have before we bought more- and we couldn't decide which one (the repo or the first Med) that we wanted to do more. Although I might regret this decision and I know I will be really bummed next year- I felt that it was the right decision not to go. There are many places I wanted to go in 2007 (including races) and it just didn't feel right. So- there will be two reservations opening up tomorrow.

On a better note- I just got back from the CKU album scrapbooking expo and it was awesome! I wasn't able to enjoy the event to the fullest because I was too tired to go on the big make and take day and at 4:00 am this morning I got called in to do a rape case on an 18 year old girl- so I didn't get to get back until half of the day was over. (Busy case) However, in not going to the Med, I am going to try and hit CKU sometime next year and I am really going to live it up on the Sept. cruise!

Here is what we have planned for 2007 so far-
Jan- WDW Marathon (half)
May- Neuro Sciences Nursing convention in Orlando & WDW
Oct- San Fran- Nike Women's Marathon (half or full?)
Cruise sometime...
We'll see what else pops up!



Elaine- very cool tat! Very nice work. Last week I was debating a small mickey mouse head done in black work on my ankle....but I'm kind of wimpy when it comes to pain and I'm a little freaked about dirty needles. Happy

Elaine, Renae, DPD- Have you seen all of the new Disney villians? SO COOL! Got tons of free stuff I can't wait to try out from CKU!


Steve & Amy- Emma is getting big and she has a great smile and is really cute. You two are blessed. Steve- holy cow on the miles for being busy with Emma you are really getting up there.

Scott- I got the book & DVD. I could have gotten the videos on loaner, but I can watch the DVD while I walk on the treadmill. Any advice on equipment? I may have to do my test and pool dive on 4/20 & 4/21 as I am REALLY busy on weekends between now and the cruise.


Scott & Bob- thought of you both as I drove past the Cheese Burger in Paradise restaurant by the scrapbooking convention. I wanted to stop in and see the place, but I was too busy.


Kay- I'll call you tomorrow. I am going to look at a few things on the net and then go to bed- I'm beyond tired.

Oh Celeste, I can only imagine how hard that decision was for you. At least you're going on the 11 day in September. I wish now we had signed up for that one... BUT I'm REALLY glad we signed up for the May 14th May Repro Cruise last year Best investment we ever made

As I am typing I'm feeling just how much you've invested in your work. As hard as it is, you are helping so many people, and should be very proud and encouraged even though the journey is a hard one.

Oh come on Celeste....get the tattoo...it really doesn't hurt much and just takes a little bit of research to find a tattoo parlour that you trust....the one that did all 3 of my tattoos is so clean and they answered any and all questions you have and the first time I went for my tattoo he showed me the clean package of needles etc before he started my tattoo....you could always come to visit and you could get your tattoo where I got mine...I mean it's only a 9 hour drive!!!!!!!

Mom and I have also discussed the Med cruises and we too are going to pass...the price is just too much for us....I will live the cruise vicariously (sp?) thru the live thread.....

Celeste, I've always wanted to go to CKU.....maybe we should plan on a Dis CKU in 2007....we could get Tracy, Leslie, and Renae to join us somewhere at a CKU and make it a DisCKU.....we could dress "Disney" and be the hit (or freaks!) of the CKU...maybe we'll be lucky in 2007 and there will be a CKU in Orlando then we would be able to combine our 2 loves....Disney and Scrapbooking!!!!!!

I have not been to my local scrapbook store to see the new stuff....I'm trying to be good and stay away from the scrapbook store until I NEED supplies....but now maybe I'll have to make a trip.....

We had a great week in the Orlando area.
Thanks to Rennae for the helpful hints. Appreciated.

Thanks to Cheryl and Bob for the wonderful company the first couple of days. Also, thanks for all the info. And who could forget the Monorail Pub Crawl.

We got to see a lot at Magic Kindom, EPCOT and Animal Kingdom. Bunch of changes. Really enjoyed the Mickey's Philharmonic. Very good.
Missed out on the Expedition Everest.

Had some great meals. Ragland Road was delcious.
The cafe at the Grand Floridian was nice. Our server Lori was good. We told her about the boards. If you're reading this Lori--"HI and thanks"
Was dissapointed with the beignets at Port Orleans.

Our last day was very busy. Last minute shopping, including the mouse surplus and DTD.

Tippy spent the week at the Bass Pet Motel in Kissimmee. Wonderful place. Would recommend highly.

Lee wants everyone to know that she saw an alligator in one of the ponds along the main drive out of the Magic Kingdom. About halfway out to the interstate. I'll have to take her word for it. Has anyone else seen one there?
