Jen, Thanks, we are planning an A/C kennel for FL, or one with big ice blocks. I was surprised to find a pretty active Malamute Rescue group in FL. Never would have guessed.

Peter, you guys have a great trip.

There are a lot of dog rescue groups in Florida. best guess is with such a transient population dogs can be left behind. We got Josie (the bigger beagle) from a rescue group up in Odessa, they had a lot of beagles.
Josie just pushed them all to the side and aroo'd Take Me!!!!

We had a malamute. His name was Simba and he was stolen right out of our backyard. Spent hundreds of dollars trying to find him. No luck. He does have the chip in his back though, maybe someday we will get a call. So now we have Sebastian, a golden retriever. Got him from Golden Retriever Rescue. He's a great dog.

We have chips in the two younger ones. We have to head to SLC in a couple of weeks for some dental work for me. Not too excited about it but gota do it.

Any of you booked your 2006 cruise yet? I have, couldn't resist, yet I am definately more excited about the Panama cruise!

I have felt a little out of it as I don't have a dog to show off. All of yours are beautiful. I do hope to get a dog when I have my new house though.

It is a rather quiet bunch here. Would hate to be on page 2.

I had a very, very busy week at work. Did not sleep well all week 2-3 hrs a night was all I could manage, don’t know why.

Catch up on email and then off to camp this weekend with the pups. For some reason, I sleep well when we camp.

Hope our FL friends are all well and drying out.

Wow. I haven't been on the thread in a while, life gets in the way sometimes. Lots of great information here. I do have a question that I think I may know, but I hope I am wrong. Call me a geek, but while we are on the cruise, the third Star Wars movie will open. What do you think the chance is that they will have it on the Magic??????

My guess is slim to none...but I'm also bummed that the new Harry Potter book is also supposed to be out that week too! I sure hope they don't run out of books by the time we get back!

I waded through the posts and noticed that Key West is not listed on the revised list of ports of call that (Scott?) posted many posts ago....In that post the point was that Disney had just revised the list of POC for this cruise to include MAZATLAN. So, is Key West gone, too?

I'm SO confused...

I hope you're all doing ok. I did feel the earthquake here last week (or the week before; whenever it was). ThumpersMom felt it first, and then I sat still and felt it as well. Like Kara said, it wasn't major - thank God! Who needs that right now? It was a soft, gentle rolling and rocking motion that did last quite a while though. I imagine this is what cruising must be like...

We are all booked to go to Disneyland in November. It will just be three of us: myself, DD and my mom. My mom has had some health issues and has been really stressed out lately - so she is looking forward to this trip as much as I am. I'm looking foward to the snow on main street, the popcorn, the chili dogs, the chimichangas and of course The Haunted Mansion!

Anyway, we're going on Nov. 11 - so please send me a PM with a home address so that we can send you all an xmas post card from disneyland!

Okay, so Disney is doing all these auction these next few weeks to raise money for charity. If you are a Disney VISA cardholder you can go into EBay and bid on items if you have previously registered (or register now). You can only bid if you are a Disney VISA cardholder.

So today is the day that they listed the PC 14 day cruise from Los Angeles back to Port Canaveral. The trip that people can bid for is for 2 adults, and 2 children (under 13 years of age) in a category 9 stateroom. The auction has been listed for 2 hours so far.

Any guesses as to what this little "dream" trip is at right now????
