I was laughing SO HARD when I saw your post... I just couldn't resist! In fact... I had a glass of the ORANGE a while ago!

Thanks for the memories... they are precious! :goodvibes

Hi to Celeste's sister!!!

We, meaning my hubby and I, cruise because it's simple, your hotel goes with you so you don't have to worry about driving, getting lost, spending a fortune on tolls, gas and 'road food'... The staterooms are wonderful, and also go with you, so if you go to sleep in one place, you may wake up in another stop, and that's really cool. Then there's the entertainment, and with us, it's a BIG deal that it's Disney entertainment. They know what they're doing, and you'd pay a lot of money to get that quality of show on land. The service is wonderful, and you feel pampered and delightfully surprised every day with what the crew does for you. I have to mention the FOOD... you could say that you eat well onboard, but that doesn't come near to describing the culinary adventure you will enter every night at dinner. I've enjoyed foods I never even dared to think of before, but onboard you're both more brave and less constrained by cost. Try something new and you'll enjoy yourself more. I must say that after 6 cruises, my most compelling reason for cruising is the peace, lack of stress, enough rest, and all the new Dis friends I meed every time. A cruise, especially a Disney cruise, is one you will never regret, and never forget!

that's my two bits...

You are still holding on to that fantasy that Orange is somehow better than Lemon Lime? Go to the light, Georgie... Go into the light. Join us on the Lemon Lime side where it is vastly superior! :rotfl2:

Good morning all! To those of you not following the august trip home- please go over to the thread and see the great video that Steve, aka Goofyguy777 has put out. It is pretty great.

I wish everyone a great week- please keep the families in Katrina's way in your thoughts!

Looks like I missed a mini-reunion on the Aug. live thread yesterday.
:sad1:

It was great to see the video and pics everyone posted from 'The Fools' trip through the canal.

Good job and thank you to those who helped with that!

It really makes me want to book another cruise, but after our 14 day journey... I KNOW 3 or 4 days wouldn't be long enough and I'm wondering if even a 7 day would seem WAAAY too short!
:teeth:

Sheila

A lot of the May Repo cruisers are cruising on the 11 day Southern Caribbean in September 2006...come and join us!!!!!!!

I'm definitely jealous of those of you able to do the 11 day!
Looks like a great itinerary and lots of good friends on board.
Plus I think it's so neat that you all get to do another long DCL 1st... but on the Wonder this time.
I think that calls for a dancing banana

Our oldest offered to delay starting college for a semester just so she could cruise the 10 or 11 day with us.
:boat:
However, when I suggested she go ahead and do a late start BUT stay home with the younger kiddos while mom and dad cruised sans kids... all of a sudden a delayed start was just not an option.
:confused3 Go figure!

Can someone tell me who the fabulous repo cruise lanyards were ordered from? They were so soft and so thin. We actually didn't mind wearing them, and I usually hate wearing lanyards. Was it local or through an online company? I'm working on a big conference in DC that's happening in about three weeks, and I said I'd try to find the name of the company that made them.

Thanks a bunch!

FYI - DVDs are still on the backburner because of this conference. I expect October will be the likely finish time. Thank you for your patience :)

The lanyards were done by: http://www.kennyproducts.com/

1/2 inch wide - printed on both sides - item number lan-101 with "bulldog clip"

if you go to their webpage, they are using one of our "Kingdom to Kingdom" lanyards as an example.

The badge holders came from: http://www.laminationstation.com/

Thanks for sharing your resources Ken! It's always handy to have information like that handy. Gee, they even used the one you designed as an example! :Pinkbounc WHAT MAGIC! :wizard:

They were GREAT lanyards. We were all proud to be "Those lanyard people!" ;)

We'll be thinking of you on your upcoming ride!

Hi Georgie and Joe

Thanks for the good words. Less then a month to go before the ride. I'm just about as ready as I'm going to get. It should be fun!
