We decided on a Winnie the Pooh theme for the baby's room. It's safe and has neutral colors for a baby. We found lots of neat things at our local Target and KMart. We're not sure yet if we'll stick with Classic Pooh or Contemporary Pooh or have a mixture of both.

We're preparing our house to sell right now so we will be able to visualize a nursery better once we get into the new house.

Steve

Winnie the Pooh....Mickey's going to be a little upset!!!!!!!......I thought for sure you'd do it in "Lady & the Tramp"

Are you staying in the same area? Mom hopes you're moving closer to Canada :)

Hi Everyone,

Just in case you need to know, our local Walmart has Blinkie Flippy FloppyThingies on end of summer sale. :bounce: Stock up for 11 night Southern Caribbean? :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Steve,

We did the Pooh theme for our daughter Taylor's room. Had a blast getting it all ready before she came along! Yes, Target had great things..wallpaper border, light switch plates, cabinet knobs, large decals for the walls and even a Pooh ceiling fan! That one was really cool with the "honey pot" for the light globe! I know I have pictures of the room somewhere...I'll have to dig one out and post it for you. I remember doing that room like it was yesterday, and Taylor will be 6 in two weeks. You guys have fun with it...

Jim

I'm hoping someone can help me.....

I started to scrapbook our wine tasting and I need some help with my journalling....I can't remember the couple's name that spoke about wine and provided the wine aroma wheel information sheet. I don't have a picture of them but I want to include the information in my journalling. I believe that they were related to one of our Dis'ers but I can't remember....

Someone please help!!!!!!!

P.S. If someone has a picture of the couple that they are willing to share, please PM me. Thanks.

No kidding! I have been spending a lot of time on the east coast and midwest the past several weeks (Delaware, DC, Morristown NJ, Detroit, Chicago) and the heat has been almost unbearable! :sunny:

Hope nobody has melted out there!

Good morning to everyone! I have just caught up on the past four pages!!

Thanks to everyone for the replys:
I set up an account on sharebuilder and I plan to have stock purchased today or tomorrow....it is up 0.26 from close on Friday. Thanks Peter!

The happy haunts ball sounds really fun, it REALLY is too bad that Robb and I don't live in Florida....

Steve- sure I'll come paint- but I have to worn you that I'm not very good at putting the tape down. I found this out the hard way. I enjoyed the tiki-poop song!

Hi Tony and Adrienne- that was a great photo. Did you know there is going to be a nursing convention in Anaheim for critical care nurses in May? I may attend.

Scott- my parents spent the last week up in Jackson- they had a great time! 1776- I have been eyeing that book at Wal-Mart on sale for 15 or 17 dollars.....let me know if you enjoy it.

Hi Jim!

To everyone else...hello!

Just wanted to check in- my last paper for the summer is due on Wednesday and them I'm off of school (not work) until Sept. 12!!!

Back to the paper! :rolleyes1

The radio guy said it's about 100 here in SW FLA! WHEW! My poor hubby, having to crawl in attics! We are all sick too! I can always tell that when my DD starts back to school(last Monday) we always get sick within the first couple of weeks!
Robin- You will have to give me your e-mail address. We went up and met with the builder on Sat. They will start in a couple of months, so we won't be moving until next May or June! My DH will continue to come down to Ft. Myers/Naples for 3 days out of the week to work. Gainesville has a good dental hygiene program, so I will be going straight to school to finally finish that (since it has only taken me about 6 years now off and on in college!) I would like to keep in touch with you!

Kim

Gotta travel this week and it looks like where I am going there will be no internet access. We will see.

Safe travels Scott... Almost winter... aaaahhhh! The black walnut leaves are falling here too, but it's due to the heat.

Well, we ended up down at San Pedro today. They are having a tall ship event this weekend, we have friends on this week's west-coast cruise, and I haven't seen the ship in a month. So off we trekked to see the Magic sail away.

We took one of the harbor cruises, and boarded out boat just as the ship cast off its lines. So we got to sail around it as it headed off to Mexico. I thought Adrienne was going to break into tears as the horn sounded. We got to see our friends up on Deck 10 - wearing their gold ears and waving like crazy.

I wanna go back!!!! ;)

Here is a snapshot of the ship leaving today:

Hi guys! I am sooooo jealous! I wish I was close enough to take a drive over and see the ship. Oh well, I'll just have to wait until I board the Wonder on Sept. 4th.

I think you are talking about John and Jean Hackenburg (Kara's parents).

I think we have a picture of them on deck during the canal crossing. I'll get Shari to check.
