Congrats!!! Having the Olympics in your hometown can be a real adventure, good and bad... Linda, remember the 'luge'? In Salt Lake they worked on the freeway for years getting it ready, with high walls on each side... it felt like running the luge!

I've been scrappin' this morning, having a great time remembering... got my sailaway pages and my BFFT pages done!

Hi everyone:

Am at Disney - got here - checked into and met some friends from S.C. - they bought many of my pins that I had in my keeper collection - no - not the cruise pins - we meet up a few times a year - very nice people

Do some more errands for other people also.

Am meeting Celeste and Rob for supper tonight at VWL. Celeste was supposed to call Renae to join us, but I don't know if she got her or not.

Went to MK and went over to POC. WHEW - talk about "hot" outside. It was horrid. I got a coke to drink and should have gotten water. Got some POC hats, neck ties, eye patches, ear rings, and candy coins to give to some of the children on ship during Pirates Night. Looking forward to being in the Atrium and giving the candy coins out and seeing their faces.

We leave for the ship tomorrow morning after breakfast. Might go to AK first, since they open early (I think). No need to board early - with the chair, I usually get to go in right away anyway.


Went to the DVC update at Saratoga Springs today. IT was fun. Nothing new announced.

Going to the DVC Block Party with some CM's I know next Tuesday afternoon at PI, when we get back.

Kay , PM me your cell phone number again. I couldn't get the ressies for the other cruise. The dumb web site is screwed up and doesn't seem to even acknowledge that there is a brunch on the sea day. I've been trying all day and the DCL cast members are absolutely no help. It appears hopeless.

Hey, guess what everybody???

I just got home from a mini-meet! Rob and Celeste, with Noah and Rob's son Alex, and Kay and Harry and Eric and I just had dinner at the Whispering Canyon cafe' at the Wilderness Lodge. It was great, and we had a wonderful time talking about the cruise. I wanted to get into Kay's suitcase for their cruise tomorrow, though... The server gave us a hard time, and made hats out of napkins for all of us. Kay and Celeste both took pictures, so I'm sure they will be posted in a few days. such fun!!!

We are about six miles from Central London and me and my family are all safe.
A sad day for London
Things are very Bad.

There have been apparantly 9 explosions
6 on the Underground and 3 Buses.Suicide bombers believed to be involved.
