Hey Celeste..

Just catching up on some of the posts. Taylor also lost her first tooth several days after we got home. Thought she had won the lottery! She was so excited since a few of her good friends from school had already lost theirs. That tooth fairy gets more expensive every year!

Jim

Hi Jim! :wave2:

Isn't it funny how even the tooth fairy has been hit by inflation!

I've been reading your posts- glad to hear that you and your family have been doing well.

Noah had the same experience- many other kids had already lost one and he hadn't. The tooth had been wiggly for over 4 weeks...so I was glad to see it go.

Good to hear from you- say hello to your family for us.

Steve,

Glad you guys are all right. I remember tsunami warning drills as a kid in Wa.

Renae

I never had a tsunami drill as I didn't grow up on the coast but we had several earthquake drills each year. Being the short kid in class, I had no problem getting under that desk quickly!

Everyone (of course) was talking about it at work today. I guess Amy and I were the only ones who didn't feel it. We were most likely out driving at the time. It didn't cause any damage around here and everyone said it wasn't too strong in Eureka but they did comment on that it lasted unusually long.

We never did receive our shoreside survival kit (or even our Castaway Club cards) and we have been CC members for a year now. I tried calling the 800-449-3380 number I found on the boards but it said I couldn't call that number from my location. Does anyone have another number to try?

Lynn and any other new scrapbookers.

If you don't live in scrapbook heaven like Linda does (and I used to) you might want to try a website I found for supplies. Their prices are good and they are really low on the shipping. www.bargainpack.com is a great place to get cardstock and adhesives. Watch out, this can be really addicting! I admit, I'm a goner...

Renae
Just before the cruise I found a site for Disney scrapbooking and found some neat Pirate supplies. I had been looking all over for Pirate stickers etc. I included some of the supplies in my gift pack. The site is mousememories.com.
I haven't got started with the trip scrapbooking but have a few ideas rolling around in the head. Thanks for the additional sites.

Wow....just catching up on all the pages since the cruise... Did not realize everyone was still posting on... The pictures are great.. congratulations to all the graduates...

Hope everyone is feeling much better...

Also glad everyone past there test's...

Elaine,

I've used 81/2x11 most of the time, but am using 12x12 for special things now. I like the postbound books tooo, much easier than strap/hinge style. Do you have a good site to get page protectors in bulk? I need about 100! I'm so far behind with both weddings and this cruise that I'm hoping to find a big lot of them for a good price, and here all you can get is packs of 5...

I'm going to try your scrapyourtrip site today if I get a chance. I agree with your opinion of Creating Keepsakes and Simple Scrapbooks. I use them all the time for layout ideas, and next month I'm going to Creating Keepsakes University for a 3 day shot in the arm of scrapping classes! Yeah!!!!

Renae

Celeste,

I'd love to see papers about stingray city! I'm so far behind that I haven't done my pages from our western cruise last January! aaarrrggghhh!

Renae

Kathy,

Mousememories is partly owned by Tony and Adrienne! They have some good prices and great Disney stuff.

Renae

Laurie,

I have my stuff on Snapfish... but have never seen just one photo posted like that, is it hard?

Now girls - the scooters are great. I'm sure you would handle them well.

Georgie - take care of that toe. Hope it is better with each day.

Hi Steve!

I've just checked all the DCL phones numbers I have. The one for Castaway Club is the one you mentioned, and I can call it from NJ. The other numbers were the main number 800-WDW-CRUISE, and the DCL office number in Celebration Village 800-957-9067.

I would call the main number, tell them you're trying to reach the Castaway Club, and that the 800 number others are using doesn't work from your area.

Good Luck. :flower:
Georgie

UPDATE: Steve, I just got off the phone with the Castaway Club 1-800-449-3380 and asked it there was another number you could call, explaining that the 800 number wasn't working from your area. To her knowledge, that was the only number they have for the Castaway Club :guilty: I asked ifyou could call the main number to ask your questions, and she said sure. So... give the main number a try. Hope this helps!

Can someone please tell me how to paste a picture directly into a post?

I can insert a link, but that gives access to my whole album. I'd like to just directly paste a picture. Thanks!

Hi Renae,
I was just thinking about you and Eric today- thinking I should send you a note or something....

The stringray city papers are from one of the sites you mentioned:
http://www.scrapyourtrip.com/cruise.html

They are on the bottom of the page.

They even have some cool papers from Curaco...

I wish I was going to the CK class- I looked at those online yesterday....maybe next year I'll do the one in SL.

I am going crazy with my transition time....not knowing what is happening with work and school drives me nuts. I will be much better on August 1st, when I have the new school schedule for fall and will know about vacation time for the new job.

How is PO?

Talk to you soon!
