Has anyone received the pins DCL said they were sending? I wonder when they will arrive?

And, anyone receive the T-shirts? Hm m m m.

I was just wondering the same thing. Does anyone still have that letter from DCL about how long it will take for our special orders on the t-shirts etc... Mine is upstairs...somewhere in the pile. I thought it was 2-4 weeks from the day we departed. It's nearing 3 now?

Cool. I'll just do it the old way.....streaming internet audio.
BTW, this starts the 6th year of webcasting of the concerts.

I'm looking at my letter. It doesn't say how long the t-shirts etc will take only that they would be mailed to our home and that DCL will cover the shipping costs. About the pin, it says it would be mailed to either your home or travel agent within 4 weeks following your voyage.

That means we should be getting our pins very soon.

I wonder who will get their's first??? :rolleyes1

Hi Everybody! :wizard:

My "ta-toosh" is feeling a bit better today.. .thanks Kelli..:teeth: Funny thing, the dog jumped up on the bed and landed on my back this morning....heard something "crack" and now my butt feels a bit better. Go figure. My dog is a chiropracter!

Glad to hear all of you in N. CA are okay from the quake.

Finally got out of the house yesterday. Where else... Wal-Mart! They have electric scooters there with baskets on them that you can use. :moped: What a site I was trying to learn how to drive one of those!! I ended up side swiping a fixture of shirts and knocked a whole pile on the floor. Poor Joe had to follow me around picking things up....:rotfl2: I didn't last too long there.... too many people and I was afraid I'd hit someone. Guess I shouldn't have been driving under the influence....:rotfl: :rotfl: This is certainly a learning experience and another whole type of adventure for me.

The MS thing is all over the paper and news here. Joe first thought possible aynurism (sp?) too. We love MS... I can't do the teacups but didn't have a problem with MS. and I even rode it during "testing and adjustment" when it was a LOT more intense than it is now. Go figure.

Leslie

I am so glad you still have your sense of humour.

I would have loved to have been a fly on the wall at Walmart however, I probably would have fallen off the wall due to the excessive laughter.

I'm hoping you get better real soon.

Thanks Elaine! I knew there was a 4 week date mentioned on the letter. Hmmm, guess it will be a nice suprise when my t-shirt and hat finally arrive.

Hi Debbie

You never know...it could be Linda!!!!!

I was wondering if the picture I took of you and the fish extender at the Walt Disney Suite turned out because I also took a picture and it turned out pretty good. If you'd like me to send you a copy PM me with your email address and I'll email it to you.

Elaine

Steve,

Glad you guys are all right. I remember tsunami warning drills as a kid in Wa.

Lynn and any other new scrapbookers.

If you don't live in scrapbook heaven like Linda does (and I used to) you might want to try a website I found for supplies. Their prices are good and they are really low on the shipping. www.bargainpack.com is a great place to get cardstock and adhesives. Watch out, this can be really addicting! I admit, I'm a goner...

Well I'd say it's a safe bet that it WON'T be us.

We're still waiting for our Panama post card. Everyone else we sent them to got theirs... but the one we sent to ourselves is MIA.
:confused3

We DID get our DCL survival kit today.
Guess that means we're now official Castaway Club members!
:cool1:

So is it time to pick up Wal-mart stock again now that Georgie and Leslie are on the mend enough to shop?
As we were debarking that last day I overheard a lady saying that her first stop when she got home was going to be Wal-mart to get some of those light-up flip flops.
Wonder where she got that idea?! ;)

I'm one of those folks who collects lots of scrapbook supplies - but need to get motivated to actually put something IN the scrapbook!
:guilty:

Another good website for trip related scrapbook supplies is scrapyourtrip.com I was surprised at how quickly my stuff arrived and they actually had some stuff for Curacao!!!!! I didn't find their shipping costs too high (even to Canada).

Elaine,

I'd forgotten you were addicted to scrapping too! What size do you do?

Renae

I prefer 12X12 postbound albums - like the ones sold on the ship but I also use the 12X12 strap-hinge (CM type) albums.

Ther reason I prefer the postbound albums is that I do not have to work chronologically. I can work on whatever I want and then organize my book at the end.

What about you?

That is so FUNNY :rotfl2: The Blinkie Flippie Floppies made a name for themselves! I really enjoyed our jammie breakfast wearing those light up flippies! :goodvibes I was wearing mine on one of the at sea days, and I overheard a woman say to her husband, Oh! Those light up things are for kids! Poor woman! :rotfl2:

Me too! I bought so much stuff before Linda's class, just in anticipation! :rotfl2: I need to make time... (does anyone have the recipe? :rotfl2: )

Hey Leslie... wouldn't it be funny if we lived closed and BOTH of us were in the SAME Walmart on scooters with the 2 Joe's running around picking everything up behind us! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

Yes I really feel sorry for that woman, growing up is no fun, Yes I am a Pirate 200 years too late.

Scrapbooking Supplies from the Dollar Store, work just perfect....

Although we didn't go there this trip- I am remembering that someone wanted the link to the stringray city papers I told them about....if you are interested post and I'll find it.

I like the post albums...I am going to scrapbook tomorrow.

Hey Celeste..

Just catching up on some of the posts. Taylor also lost her first tooth several days after we got home. Thought she had won the lottery! She was so excited since a few of her good friends from school had already lost theirs. That tooth fairy gets more expensive every year!
