I didn't mean that 'your' castle was TOO small, but I had remembered it as being bigger... We watched the fireworks from the top of the train station (thanks again to Adrienne!) and looking down that long street to see the castle that way just seemed out of proportion. I did LOVE the tiaras on the turrets and the glitter in the pink paint. If you could have taken away half of the crowds and kept that day just for Dis'ers, it would have been perfect! I never go to our parks on crowded days, it's too stressful for me, but... we WERE only there for 2 days, so we went anyway. Sometime, we'll have to do the Indy ride when we can take out time in the queue and see all the detail that went into it. It was Very impressive.

I was looking for some web sites for Laurie regarding tea- I thought I could help her remedy that she only had two boxes in her house. I looked at my two favorite sites for loose tea and confirmed what I had suspected....
the loose teas from Palo are from mightly leaf tea company.

Those of you missing your african nectar- you can get it there in bags or loose.

The site is
http://www.mightyleaf.com

Loose teas are at:
http://www.mightyleaf.com/loose-teas.aspx

If you are looking for a wonderful brewing device for loose teas- may I recommend the following....little or no sediment. This site also has great teas.
http://www.teavana.com/

Specific site for the brewer:
http://store.teavana.com/brewandtouch.html

I hope this helps...if I could only find the Palo scone recipe....let me see what I can do. (I may need some time for that)

Enjoy

Teavava is a bit expensive for my tastes, we have a store here in tampa. For me a much better site is http://www.adagio.com/
I've sent teas from them to friends who are still raving about them. This tea actually blooms in the pot (why you should always have a glass tea pot on hand) http://www.adagio.com/white/jasmine_bloom.html

Anyways, from adagio you can go to the tea map and find a tea house near you...

Note to Self:

Do not leave chocolates on the pillow for Lynn when there are Malamutes around.

So when is the reunion Cruise????? Soon I hope. Mini Reunion on the Wonder Members Cruise???

Try www.coffeeam.com for tea and coffee. I have had good luck with them.

No fair not all of us can get on the Member cruise (tho we have points as of today).
We could have a reunion at WDW, do a magical gathering for our "family"

No I haven'tm but want to. I have an old bodum tea press. I really like the blossom tea since you don't have to worry about any of it.

We are planning on going in mid-October and in January.

Maybe we should go race weekend and have everyone race as a team?
I will be walking the half marathon on Saturday....

WDW would work for me, LOL! Anytime at all! he he he he he...

Scott, so.... how did the Malamutes get into the bedroom? Do they have their own KTTW's (sorry, couldn't resist...)

Remember the lithographs we got on Panamal Canal day? I had 4 in my room -- one for each person, I guess. I thought they were all the same. I see on ebay (yes, can you believe it) there are a series of 3 listed.

Which lithographs did you guys get? How many?

Celeste,
You are so good to me!! Thank you, thank you. Michael and I were saying last night, how we really need to expand beyond "Sleepy Time & Camomile"!!

Now, when anyone gets the recipe for the scones...I want a copy!! Those were amazing! How do we go about requesting recipes from DCL? Anyone know?

I got the impression that the Ebay person purchased 2 of the 3 in Treasure Ketch.

Scott,

Michael left a bunch of chocolates on our older daughter's pillow and Quincy came downstairs later that evening saying "these are supposed to be on my pillow"!

Makes sense. I just looked again, and the other two are vertical and not doesn't say anything about the Panama Canal.

I'm so jealous of everyone who has their poochies back home. My Molly is still in the kennel since we didn't think it fair to pick her up on Tuesday and bring her back today. (Out of state wedding this weekend.)

I miss my dumb mutt so much. I can't wait to have her home again. :sad1:

Its amazing how stupidity is so endearing when it comes to dogs but not people

I posted on the "Live" thread but this seems to be the catching up thread so here goes....

Mom & I arrived home safe & sound at 12:15 am this morning. I did a pretty good job packing because I got everything home and didn't go over Air Canada's weight limitations (thank goodness for 4 bags at 70 lbs each!!!!!!!)

I miss you all so much.....we went for groceries this morning and I found myself looking down the aisles for everyone. It will be so weird to not see you all at dinner time.

I want to thank EVERYONE (there are just too many to name individually) for a very MAGICal vacation and a trip that neither my Mom nor I will ever forget. Our door is always open to my new found DisBoard family and if any of you are planning a trip to Ontario Canada, send me a PM...we'd love to show you around.

Elaine & Margaret

P.S. Kelli....glad to hear that you, Keith and Etta made it home. I miss you so much!!!!!

P.P.S. Leslie....I hope you are feeling better and you didn't do any serious damage.

P.P.P.S Lynda & Cash...sorry about TPIR....I couldn't remember where you were staying and none of the Disers we saw knew either. It would have been fun.

I know this is overdue, so forgive me.

THANK YOU DISBoard DARLINS!

I had a wonderful time getting to know many of you. I came home with a suit case full of gifties.

I hope everyone enjoyed the KY Derby Cup Surprise I left for you. I apologize for not being able to give every cabin a cup, but I only had enough for 50 cabins.

I'm already scratching my head trying to figure out how long I'll have to save before I can book another cruise.
