Gee Debbie-

Nobody seems to see how sneaky you are, except me...... :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

:rotfl2:
I got your reference. ;)

Happy Belated Birthday Lynn!!! I am just now trying to catch up on the posts! :wizard: :cake: :bday:

We just got back from our visit to California complete with a stay in Disneyland (boy are we ever tired today :goodvibes ) We came back to snow and are expecting more tonight! :cold: I know Scott... nothing like you have out there in the wild... but it's enough for us!

WE HAD A WONDERFUL TIME... the decorations, the special Holiday Tours, the decorating of Small World and the Haunted Mansion were just so special... DL is becoming a real favorite for me + Joe... wish it was closer!

The candlelight processional was BEAUTIFUL! While it revolves around the Christmas Story, the presentation is very different from the EPCOT performance and felt more personal. They set up special stands for the choirs, and beautiful golden "iron" podiums and stands. Candles were everywhere, along with white poinsettias and greens. They were set up at the end of Main Street right in front of the train station. We went to the 8:00 PM show on the 3rd. Seeing Dick VanDyke was great. You could see him smiling and singing along with the choir while he was sitting down waiting for the next reading. We had perfect seats and enjoyed the performance. When you're in the front row you feel pulled into the event.

We ate at Granville's at DL Hotel. The food was delicious... well worth the $60 price tag per person. When you figure the cost included great seating for the performance, I would do it all over again in a heartbeat!

Plus, we got to meet up with Linda, Robert + Jamie, Adriene + Tony + Lesley for a mini meet! Watching the snowfall together with friends was pure MAGIC! :wizard: Making this memory brought back all the wonderful memories we've made with all of you here on this thread. :grouphug:

You've added so much to our year!

A Merry Christmas to all!

Georegie, Sounds like a reat time at DL.

Celeste, yes Deb is pretty sneaky. LOL

Sandra - I just read your post asking about Wicked. Were you able to get tickets? We logged on right at noon and tried to buy tickets for a Saturday and there was NOTHING available! We finally got tickets for a Sunday night show, but they're up in the balcony off to the side. Not the best seats, but at least we're going. I can't believe the tickets sold so quickly! I've been looking forward to seeing this show for a long time now, ever since some friends of mine saw it on Broadway last spring.

I read somewhere (I think on Wicked's official website at wickedthemusical.com) that the show is recommended for ages 8 and over, and that no children under 4 are allowed in at all. Check out the website, watch the trailer, and Google "wicked synopsis" to get an idea of what the show is like.

Georgie, I'm glad you had such a great time at DL! It sounds like the park is beautiful at Christmastime. I'd love to see the special Small World and the Haunted Mansion, and also see their version of CP. Sounds like you had a wonderful trip!

And speaking of Amazing Race.... the WDW version put on by TiggFanJeff and Jenn called the Great Race took place on Monday and our very own Scott H and Lynn came in a very respectable 4th place!! For a rookie team I think they did fantastic!! :cheer2:

Scott and Lynn also got 2nd place (losing by only one point... but that was a technicality :rotfl: ) in the Passporter Mousefest challenge! :cheer2:

Great job kids!

I am not looking forward to returning home, it is just too darn cold. -30 was what the office folks said when we called to check in. No complaints about the rain we had yesterday from me.

Just s couple of more days here, and it was great to see one and all.

Georgie great photos, thanks for sharing.

DVC Guide hinted that the Mediterranean was being looked at by DCL, said there maybe an official announcement in a month or so. Who knows, we will see.

Seems like everyone we know has a guidebook etc…. I am trying to come up with a guidebook idea, was thinking about a GPS guide to the bathrooms of WDW.

Hey! I see a best seller in your future!!! Now, you need to work on a origami GPS receiver that tears out of the back of the book!

That would be great! I am ready for the warmer weather... and it's nowhere near -30 here in NJ! :cold:

Hey Scott, you could really fund your retirement if you could come up with something like that! ;)

Super pic - guys. So happy you had a great time.

Happy Holidays to each and every one of you.

GREAT pictures Georgie!! Sounds like you had a wonderful time at DL. They do the Candlelight Processional like they used to do it here at WDW... only it got WAY too big so they moved it to Epcot... and they still can't keep up with the crowds with 3 shows a night for a month!!

Scott: I love the idea of a GPS guide to the restrooms. Something we can all use more and more as we get older....LOL :drinking1

OKay all you people in the cold.... come on down! The high today was 85º! I don't even want to know what the heat index ended up being but it was HOT! Can't get in the Christmas mood with these kind of temps! I think I'll have to pull out the steel drum Christmas CD I bought in St Maarten last year on the Christmas Cruise..:boat: . that might get me in the tropical Christmas mood!! Does Jimmy Buffet have a tropical Christmas CD??
Don't know if any of you Buffet fans got the Sam's (or was it Costco?) Christmas catalog... a backstage in Vegas experience with Jimmy for 8 was only $30.000....... Scott... you mean you and Bob weren't in battle over that "one of a kind" Christmas gift???pirate:
