Nothing exciting, Just a stuck WHP car in the snow by the side of the road, stopped to help him out and slipped while attaching a tow strap, ripped the Rotator cuff. Boring huh!
I am ok, due to past surgery pain meds I am allowed to use are very limited, and I don’t like using them anyway. Sling to come off in about another week. It is tough to sleep with. I hope the non surgical approach works, if not it is about a two month process to get back to normal. Thus I am being good and doing what the doc says. At least it will be covered via Workers comp, our personnel advisor from the Attorney Generals office was extremely helpful. By my official job description we are on call 24/7. Administration said “ you would have been and ******* not to have stopped and helped”. Maybe I can write off the Bahamas trip as a therapy. LOL
Both can See fireworks From Backyards.... this is not fair...

I agree with Peter, no fair for us far away from WDW. But we are very happy for ya.

Well, we all know you're not a ********!!!!!!! But I'll consider a new line of work if you can do your therapy in the Bahamas!!! :goodvibes I just hope the timing doesn't mess you up too bad! That plane ride might not be much fun! Here's to hoping immobilizing works!

Peter... no one is stopping you from moving down here within fireworks range...:thumbsup2
By the way.... when are you going to use your magical connections and find out some REPO info for us???

Scott: OUCH! See what snow will do to you? 68 weeks can't come soon enough I'm sure. Hope the immobilization works for you. MIL had the surgery though and came out fine relatively quickly..

My daughter is obviously insane.

Bob, Kaycee is about dead center of the state of Wyoming. North of Casper on I-25 and South of Buffalo. Why would Bob be interested? Let’s see- Hole in the Wall Outlaw country, The Johnson County War, I think there is a sheep dog competition held there, family?, Am I close with any pf them.

O.K., I seem to remember a turn off for Kaycee when we were heading east from Yellowstone. Just couldn't recall just where.

Kaycee? It is in the first line of the Garth Brooks song about Chis Ledoux "Good Ride Cowboy ". (christmas gift) Yes, I do listen to songs other than Buffett and other tropical.

BTW, Buffett announced that there would be NO summer tour this year. Going to spend time with his family.

Leslie, you've got some nice looking puppies there.

The grandpuppies are a new experience. We have always had Goldens. Little dogs are foreign to us!! Funny to watch them try to act like the big dogs. As I'm sure it is with grandchildren... it's always fun to spoil them and then give them back...:rotfl2:

That's where I was gonna go....but I'm too late getting back from Nebraska....Chris LeDoux was awesome!! 25 year overnight sensation!!! He actually built a recording studio in his home to produce his own music. He was also an incredibly humble person. The one year anniversary of his death just passed a couple months ago. He rodeo'ed in college with my boss. One of Garth's very first songs, "Too Young to Feel This Damn Old" (a theme for this bunch!!!!!!!!) talks about "a worn out tape of Chris LeDoux". After a tour with Chris, Garth is quoted as saying he'd never take the stage with him again, as "he's crazy!!"

Anything else you want to know?!?

Good luck, Georgie!!! I have just a little idea what that means...and what little I know makes it sound PRETTY darn bad for a Saturday! Here's hoping Sunday is looking up!

Thanks for the well wishes Kelli!!!

I got to work early and got right to the task at hand... :badpc:

Just when it looked lilke the sun was coming out, :sunny:

the skies turned black, :scared1:

the air grew still, :worried:

there was an eerie silence :(

And then it happened... :sad2:

The server CRASHED!!!

Yes, that's what happened today in the life of this NJ PC lanyard person. ::yes::

I made all my calls to production control support and asked them to restart the server, then wrote up all of my reports along with letting everyone know to follow the Back-Out Plan...

It's so unfulfilling to work so hard and have this result. I'll lick my battle wounds tonight, rest up tomorrow :thumbsup2 and get back in there on Monday to keep on going! :bounce: I'm really surprised at just how tired I do feel. I always have high expectations! :yay:

WHICH IS WHY I'M ALREADY DREAMING ON TO 2007 AND THE MED CRUISES!!! :boat:

party: party: party:
:cool1: Proud to be a Lanyard Person :cool1:

Leslie!

What beautiful Grandpuppies!!! Lucky You!

Scott!!! Hope your recovery plan works like a charm. Sould you REALLY try diving before you heal up??? Take good care of yourself. I know Lynn will watch out for you!

Looks like the Florida rain reached NJ... it's been pouring all day here. :umbrella:

Sending Pixie Dust to all! pixiedust:

Elaine,
Did I ever tell you of the time a Canadian border person accused me of taking Noah out of the country illegally? I was taking a weekend trip with my entire family- but Robb wasn't with us. We were all living in Massachusetts at the time and we drove up to Maine- where we decided to take a ferry to Nova Scotia. Upon crossing and getting to Nova Scotia- they almost didn't let us in, because I didn't have a notarized letter stating that I had the right to take Noah out of the country- without Robb being there. I explained that we were married and they still didn't want to let us in. After the lady verified I was married and she called Robb- they let us in.

Needless to say, I have flown to Europe three times with Noah (and without Robb) and have never been questioned. :rotfl2: :rotfl2: (I had Noah and his passport- and a notarized letter, which never got asked for)

I think we should start making the geese show papers that they can legally cross into the US. :lmao:

Elaine and Renae- I got into CKU-Albums in Chicago. :cheer2: I got the only "album" track left, but atleast I got in.

Everyone else:
Any thoughts on this, I posted this on the 11 night cruise board:
No Scott, you haven't missed the summer midwest meet- just the Christmas one.

I am still considering doing a meet in May. I had actually thought about doing one the weekend of Memorial day and thought about inviting May repo cruisers as well- kind of a one year thing- celebration and combine it with people for the upcoming cruise in September. I already have time off that weekend as I am scheduled to go to California for a nursing convention earlier that week- and have scheduled vacation time for that week. However, I don't know how many people would be interested in coming around that time frame- I know many people do family parties. I could plan some fun things in Chicago and we could have a party at the house. If I wasn't going to do it that weekend, I'm not sure when I could~ between working two jobs, school, and training for upcoming races, my time is limited

Leslie- the puppies are super cute, almost makes me want to get one.

Georgie- sorry to hear about the server crashing! :confused3 Keep on trying!

Steve- how's your mileage this week?

Everyone good job on the Walk to Disney Challenge! :woohoo: Anyone else want to join?
