In case you all didn't notice my sig...We are managing to sneak in a 7 night Western on the Magic for Joe's spring break week. Just booked it last minute and we are very excited. Considered cheating on Mickey but in the end went with something that we know and love. We've never done Grand Caymen or Cozumel (IF we get there) so it will be an adventure. Sure wish some of our cruising buddies were coming along... the thread for 3-11 is mostly newbies! Only 10 pages when I joined last weekend!! Gotta liven them up a bit!

Thought to self...maybe I should wear my pedometer at work.

I've been wearing my pedometer all day and not just when I exercise. I checked the mileage and round-trip between buildings is 1/3 mile. I used to only make one or two trips but now I look for excuses to go back and forth. I also walk a half hour each day for lunch when it's not raining.

This Walking to Disney thing has also kick-started me into doing the treadmill each night at home again. I've been slacking off lately!

Someone was asking for pedometer recommendations. I have a New Lifestyles SW-401Y. It was given to me at work. It works pretty well. It keeps track of steps and mileage. The mileage is based on stride length so it is different if I run or walk. I have it set to my length when I walk. The only thing I don't care for is that it is bright yellow and I get a lot of questions about what it is. It would be nice if it was a little more subtle-looking.

Pedometers....I believe this was the one that I had a few years before. I verified it against my treadmill and the mileage was pretty accurate. I also found it switched between running and walking without any problems- it just did so automatically.

Wonderful morning here in middle america. If you don't mind rain

It is 52° so that is great for the last of January. If the liquid sunshine abates, may try to get my miles in this morning.

Still recovering from grandson's birthday party last night. 15 scheming and screaming ten year olds eating lots of sugar and playing video games.
Actually, things went pretty well. I'm just glad I'm not there for breakfast this morning.
