Oh A QUESTION to anyone who is still here!
Postcards... foreign ports... how do we mail them? Does the Magic have foreign stamps... must we find a post office? Do we just wait til we get to LA to mail them!!! :rotfl2: :rotfl2: :rotfl2:

In the past DCL has not provided foreign port stamps...only Castaway Cay, where you still have to get to the Post Office to buy stamps and mail postcards...

I'm looking for a solution to this problem, too. Most foreign ports are not too accessible and forget taxis and Cash, the Wonder Dog...

Last December one of the nearby stateroom residents took my postcards with theirs to mail...and also picked up some at each port where I could not find a postcard seller. Every time they bought postcards they picked up a few extra for me in case I couldn't get some...especially for the excursions I couldn't take because of no scooter access...Nice people. Holland America, on the other hand, had stamps, local postcards for each port visited and would mail postcards for you...Well, DCL?

I am *not* going to socialize with ANY of you people unless you get your health together. Face mask and rubber gloves were NOT on my packing list!

One of you nurses out there need to bring a few hundred for us at the sailaway party. :rotfl2:

ooooooooooh a top....perhaps my last for this thread? who knows!

Isn't it awful that so many of us are fighting to stay well! I am thinking of visiting the doctor's as Airborne is just not cutting it this time :guilty:

STAY WELL!

Lynda, Aimee and I would be more than happy to pick up, mail, etc.. for you. As long as there is a Post Office that we can find at the ports, we are going there anyway. We can talk more about this at dinner on Saturday!

WOW! Is there really people still lurking around other than me? I am still at work :sad2: Very tired today, I could not sleep one bit...just tooooo excited :earseek: My Dr. has been sick, so we have'nt seen patients since Mon. At least I'll get outta here early today! :moped: I have been taking my Echnechia (I can't spell it)! And I have been drinking my EmergenC vitamen drink. I have also been forcing the Echnechia upon my DH. It's like trying to give a dog a pill. Practically had to sit on him. I guess I should have rolled it in a piece of meat :rotfl2: or maybe in a Coors Light ;) Hope everyone has a great trip!

Oh I hear you loud and clear on this one! I am bringing my Purell, alcohol wipes, and lysol wipes. Aimee thinks I am nuts, but the first thing I do when I enter my stateroom is wipe down and disinfect all surfaces (like the phone and tv remote) You just never know who was in there before you! Yes, I am a germ phobic :rotfl:

I don't see anything new - I see what has been there.........

Wow - now I need to pay more attention - what is new????

HI guys! :wave2:

I'm here too... Just way busy yesterday going to D'land with family for Blake's 6th birthday. Had a GREAT time, but it was VERY crowded... Went on the new Buzz Lightyear ride, very cool, and new to us Winnie the Pooh, very cute.

Got me in the mood for a cruise. I'm ready, I'm ready, I'm ready...

BUT, we're on United on Friday too... :sad2: Have a back up plan in place - but that would entail MANY hours in MANY airports...

Kendra

I took my son to school for his last day of kindergarten- his teacher cried. So sad.

I just cancelled my appointment for my manicure and pedicure- hopefully I will be able to do them on the ship- EARLY

Okay, I think I'm packed. I've had four hours of sleep.

I still have a paper to finish and I need to organize our documents and my school stuff. I will be completing our sail away gifts on the ship...

I think I will be purchasing a printer in Florida- my "travel" printer got kicked out for clothing and shoes- both of which I have too much of. I'm tempted to go down and force myself to remove three pairs of shoes and three outfits.....

:rotfl2: I was just thinking the same thing..something has to go from the luggage..lol. :rotfl2:

We have had good luck with postcards and mailing from different ports.we ask in the postcard shops (trinket places) and they usually sell stamps right there...then they direct us to a mailbox.

Kay,

Maybe it's my machine... When I reply to a message and select color, I now see TONS of choices to choose from... before today, I did not.

I never had this color from the drop down or this one or this one

Again... it might just be my machine...

Just called for a doctor's appointment... they had a cancellation. It's for 5:00.
