Kim,

That's terrible! You get hurt AND your boss is a jerk, that's just not fair... but we all know life isn't fair, we just hope for the best... You're in my prayers too.

take care,
Renae

Hi Everyone,
Well I can chime in with job woes also, my boss is being a little bit freakie lately, hopefully he will snap out of it. But after 1 year I still do not feel " safe" at my job. On Labor day I was running up the stairs and fell, snapping my foot back towards the front of my leg. Well long story short, I have torn the Achilles tendon, torn a calf muscle and am now in a cast and no walking for months to come. I had an MRI yesterday and next week will find out if I will have to have surgery again on this ankle( already have had 5 surgeries on this ankle)
So now I scoot aroung the offices on my desk chair and hop up and down the stairs to my lab, well of course this adds to my boss being " weird" . My insurance sompany paid for a wheel chair so I wil have that in the office next week, hopefully he calms down. But you jnow what guys, I have stopped being a mess over losing my job, if it happens then somehow we will put food on the table and pay the bills..
Hope for georgie and everyone else that things calm down for all of you.
Bye, Kim

Hi Kim:

Sorry to hear about your ankle. I'm having my fusion on 10/19. Not looking forward to it but hopefully I will be able to walk more and better. Other problems still there but the ankle/leg is important also.

Maybe we could get a good rate on two surgeries and a hospital room.......
My thoughts are with you.

Has anyone seen 'Cathy Rigby is Peter Pan' in New York? I'm thinking of going up there after Christmas and there are still very good seats. I'm looking for a kid-friendly theater production that won't completly break the bank! LOL.

Any thoughts or other suggestions I'd love to hear them all.

Thanks.

Sandra

Calling Lynda and Cash.....

If I remember correctly you live in Texas....I sure hope you are not in the path of the latest hurricane....hoping you are safe.

If anyone else has heard from Lynda and Cash, please post.

I'm not sure if we have other cruisers from Texas...I did speak to Bill & Liz and they said that they are fine in Austin, Texas.

Morning all.

Hey Kay how was Rita? I kept on wondering how you were doing- I heard that you guys were getting high winds there from Rita.

Hi Everyone,

We called Lynda wednesday, she and Cash are fine, not in harms way.

Bye, Kim

There is a thought, we can share a room and talk Disney till the cows come home. Like I told you on the ship Kay, having my ankle fused was the BEST decision I every made. I will be thinking of you. P.T. is the pool was great, never was late for that appointment.

Bye, Kim

Sandra,

All I know is that Cathy Rigby played the role back in the early 70's... Wow! I just read that she is my age and still flying around the stage! That's something. Now I'm thinking I'd like to go and see this too. Thanks for the information. :goodvibes

Now as far as breaking the bank... unless you want to go up and stand in line the day of the show for half price tickets... good luck!

I know Joe's favorite song in this show is "I Won't Grow Up" :rotfl:

Gosh, I remember sitting in front of the TV for the first live broadcast of this... Mary Martin in Peter Pan. To watch it now, of course, I realize just how far TV has come, but back then, I was loving it!

Georgie

Georgie,

That brings back such good memories!!! I remember clapping very hard to bring Tink back!!! Tell Joe that hisfavorite song is also mine!!! In fact I have a Disney hat that says just that!

When Rita came thru Miami and Ft. Lauderdale, it was still a tropical storm. Hardly no rain at all. We had just had some outdoor furniture delivered and didn't even bring it inside. As it traveled westerly, it got stronger. Missed us and I am truly happy about that.

Flights in Ft. Lauderdale were canceled on Tuesday all day but I did get out on my flights on Wednesday with no problem. I get home on Sunday and then leaving for Hawaii on Tuesday am at 6. Can't wait for those glorious two weeks.

Where are you now?

Tomorrow we are going to meet Char and Andy (Charwac) from our May cruise in Chicago for dinner...should be fun. I'll post pictures sometime this weekend.

Ashley, please give a  to Karen from me. I can't imagine how painful it must be for her to have no relatiionship with her Mom. (Last week was the one year anniversary of my Mom's passing.) I sincerely hope that they're able to work through this.

Ashley, Kim, Georgie, it's terrible that you have job woes. Honestly, what's with these employers? They must have miserable lives and are trying to make you just as unhappy as they are.

Kim and Kay, YIKES!! I hope that your surgeries/treatments go well. Pixie dust heading your way. :wizard:

Georgie, the wedding plans are coming along. The invite responses are coming in. The future Mr. and Mrs. Donnelly have a new apartment. Yesterday we loaded up the SUV with some of the shower "stuff" and dropped it off. My DD does have her Bridezilla moments, but that too will pass. :bride: I can't believe that its less than two months away. :earseek:

Me and Gary are heading to WDW from 12/2 till 12/11 to recuperate from it. If anyone's going to be there, I'd love to meet up with you. :flower:

Lynn and I will be at WDW from 11/27 - 12/11. I am trying to recall I think there were some others going to be there at that time. We should all get together and say Hi. If not and you see us wondering the parks with a mouse would 1000 yard look in our eyes, yell at us and say hi.

Ken, enjoy your ride.

My mom and I are scheduled to be there 12/1 - 12/9. I am sure we can figure out a time to get together :)

Can Louisiana take any more!!?? Looks like Houston proper was spared, but there will be alot of flooding in Texas and Louisiana.

Off to work! Have a good day all

Debbie

We are going to be at WDW from 1/5 to 1/9. We thought about changing our reservations and going in December during mousefest- but decided not to.

We were able to get flights for 99.00 round trip and if we stay at Pop Century instead of DVC-the rooms are less than 45.00 per night WITH tax. I think we will save our points for another date.

ANYONE ELSE WONDERING IF THE 2007 CRUISE DATES WILL BE COMING OUT SOON? :earseek:

12/2 - 12/6

When am I NOT at WDW?

Scott shouldn't be too hard to spot with a mouse in his eye.

What in the world was I trying to say, must have been too early and my mind is elsewhere preparing for next week.

Weather here is really cruddy and it looks like no camping, thunder storms, snow and rain.

Hi everybody,

Just wanted to let you know that Eric and I would LOVE to see you when you're in town, whether it's Dec. or any other time. Just give us a call!!!
