We were diving Curacao last may, Shopping is located in Punda, we most likley will be docking at the pier in Otrabanda. Casinos are in Otrabanda. Walking towards the main part of Otrabanda on your right will be the Queen Emma Bridge, a cool floating swinging bridge. The bridge will take you over the St. Annabaai, and there you are in Punda, the main shopping area. The buildings are painted in pastel colors, watches, choc, cheese, linens are abundant in several shops. Interestingly the oldest Jewish communities of the new world is in Curacao. There is also the floating market on the north side of Punda, small boats coming from Venezuela with produce , etc gather there to sell their goods.

I am sure there wil be a shopping talk on the ship.

Northwest of where we dock is a hummgus water desalination plant that supplies all the water for the island.

The key here is we all wear spedo's and the appropriate shirt. So for a formal night you wear your black spedo and a tux shirt, pirate night the red spedo and a stripped shirt. That way you only need three or four spedo's and a some shirts.

Now would that be a sight or what? Think I would look like a stuffed sausage

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.
