Gifs are a graphic format. Normally, jpegs are used on webpages. PNG is another format that is becoming popular. Animated Gifs are a series of graphics that are stored in one file. The graphics are changed at a predetermined rate to give the appearance of motion.

is a series of 5 different pictures that just keep changing. I made that one for Tippy's webpage.

Hi Everyone,

We are staying at the Radisson on 5/13. Nothing has been "officially" planned for a meet-up, but I wondered who's interested in meeting.

I'm not sure we can actually commit to meeting. We have relatives staying in a local campground (bringing the in-laws for the cruise) and we may have to head off for dinner. We also have kids that can cause us to change plans midstream. That said, does anyone want to plan a block of time to informally come by the pool to say hello to each other? Maybe we can set a block of time, say 2-5 at the pool.

RE: Scott's Signature The only difference between an adventure and an ordeal is attitude.
Not necessarily true. Case in point. Coming back thru Kentucky a couple years ago. Ran into freezing rain. And snow. I-75 was a mess! Eventhough I had a good attitude about it, it was still an ordeal. 2 hours to go 2 miles!

Then there are the 'adventures' that Lee plans for us. Sometimes the (bad) attitude will raise it's ugly head.

Bob and Scott, I do primarily use an old pentium 3-450. We have newer computers here in the house. Most of the important stuff is on this one.
It freezes up from time to time. Need to change the batteries.
Should I do something to update the gif? Maybe visit another technical thread?
This computer has upgraded ram, hard drive , software, and rw units so that it has done well for what it is. Angela tinkers with it from time to time. She would prefer to build one herself if she ever gets time.

Since im new at this Ipod Thing Probably first mistake,,

ok i have all my music on mp3 discs and cant figure out how to get it over to itunes From musuc match

or how to get directly to itunes from mp3 discs

But want to add more music to Ipod and if we hook it up and it is not there it will erease everything wish i knew that before i took it all off the computer in itunes and /Musicmatch

Help...

That's what you get for getting an iPod.

Seriously, there is software that will do a conversion for you. Can't remember exactly which ones right now.

Nothing wrong with the computer. Probably.
If one of the animated gifs move, then all of them should.

We have an PII-400 that I will probably keep as long as it holds out. Some of the software on it won't work on this new machine. And anything that uses the parallel port really gets messed up using WindowsXP.
