Ring ring...... Hello.... DCL?? I'd like to check on the status of some Documents for the May 14th cruise........ Yes I know they will be received 2 weeks before the cruise..... but could you please check and let me know if they have been sent out yet?? .... yes i know you just said 2 weeks before the cruise but some people have received theirs already.... yes I believe them.... but they said it on the Disboards... it must be true..... I know ... I know..... What... THEY HAVEN"T EVEN BEEN PRINTED YET????

My computer is burping this morning and did not get all of Linda’s posts when I posted. Glad ya got the Body Glove sets, we use them as rentals for students in our SCUBA classes.

Water temp is going to be in the mid 70’s, to me that is cold. UV shirt sounds interesting, I missed them at Sam’s. Then again they might not have had them. Our closest is 100 miles away.

Whoa, I don't get in the pool at home until it hits about 90.
I know... wimpy, very wimpy. Guess the packing list just got longer.
Good thing I have not started yet - at least I won't have to re-do anything.

I may be trailing on the post list (so glad you didn't cut it off above me Peter... that was nice) but for the first time since I joined The Dis in 2000 got a message that my PM box was full. Mostly cruise related btw. Dumped stuff this morning so I'm good to go again.

OK busy day here. It's just after 7am That's late enough to let the kids sleep in on the weekend, right? Gotta get 'em up & working on those chore lists!

What I don't understand is others are posting that they have received docs for the first Mexican Riviera cruise!!!! Why would DCL print documents for a cruise AFTER ours FIRST??? I mean that just doesn't make any sense at all to me! ( I want my documents! )

Kay, Angela says that when the IP address doesn't match the name on the computer, then your host file has been corrupted. This is a highjack, I think. Ask guru if this is right. Accordingly, you still can be able to get to a site by using the IP address. The host file must be repaired. Let me know.

Spywareblaster also locks down your host file. Theoretically, you should not be able to be highjacked with this in place.

It Definitely doesn't make any sense ... and has been a long standing problem with DCL for the last 6 months or so ....we've heard all sorts of excuses such as they were having problems with a specific printer.... which caused all sorts of backlogs and tons of panicky phone calls for Travel Agents. It doesn't seem to matter whether you book thru a TA or DCL directly ... I can only assume that certain blocks of documents are assigned to certain printers and if something goes wrong with one that causes a delay for those documents. we were recently assured that all the problems were worked out and that Documents would be received timely ... however timely for Disney is 2 weeks prior ... now in the past it was not unusual to receive the documents 30 days prior to the cruise ...... believe me TAs all over are tearing their hair out with this..... I'm not with DU but I'm sure that they are also aware of the problem , and unfortunately there is not much that can be done...... One thing for anyone that is panicking .... if you don't get your documents That doesn't mean you can't go ... they can print out documents at the port for you.... but hopefully no one here will have to worry about that and we will all get our documents this week !!!!

Hi everyone,

Well it is raining and cool here in New Hampshire, also we are still without documents. My TA e-mailed me yesterday and said late next week at the earliest.... WAAAAAAAA I want them I want them... We shipped our 2 boxes down to the ship , I do not want anyone to feel that their boxes were heavy, ours were approx. 28 lbs ea. We still have one more box to shipm that will be for the orphanage...

Here is a list of those Disers who are confirmed & linked with us for early dinner.. Russell ,Perry, Snyder, Enders and Musgrave parties . Plus us of course.

In yesterday's mail I received the cruise excursion booklet with the leaflets for costs and times and ages that can go on each one of them.

We might change our mind on some of the excursions. Have to look more closely at them.

I just saw a commercial for this new game and thought it might be fun for the kids to play on Pirate's Night.

I was on several months ago seeing if anyone was interested in getting together with my son and wife to play some hold 'em. There was some interest and now that things are getting closer I will repose the question. We are bringing several decks of cards and chips. If we can get enough people interested in a ring game or two we may be able to rent one of the meeting rooms for a day or evening on a sea day. If we are lucky we may even get them to have a waiter bring us drinks. Speculating of course and all of this will come at a price but if we can get enough people interested I suspect the cost will be reasonable. Look forward to hearing from anybody with an interest in taking their chances and having alittle fun. Wes
