DVC cruise meet thingie i.e. wanna buy more points meeting. Sure they suck ya in with a minimum purchase, then you buy one little add on, that is when the add on monkey gets on your back. Next thing ya know and you got a zillion points obsessively planning how to use them. They are fun and ya usually get a hat. We are very happy DVC members, and do enjoy their meetings etc.

Thanks Bob, we have seen him at the Sail Shows in St. Pete and MIA, I know Lynn if Lynn reads this she is asking “we have?” I know she won’t remember as she was burning up the plastic at the Rum Reggae booth. Tee hee. Lynn, thanks for getting me the shirts.

Hey Rum Reggae is pretty cool clothing, great for traveling, we wear a lot of it. Very festive check them out at www.rum-reggae.com

We've been to the point purchase one you are referring to plus a different one where they played trivia games, nice cocktails, and lots of fun. We visited the point purchase party for a brief moment each cruise and left before getting bit by the bug. We have met and far exceeded our point quota ... I sold a ton and then built the collection right back up again... Yup, an illness. :rotfl2:

Hey! I thought it was--"What Happens on the Magic, Stays on the Magic" No evidence!

Does the Magic stop at Vegas?

No docs here yet.

But with the Cape Cod Canal between us and the mainland it always takes longer!, not like we don't have bridges. Maybe that's the fascination with this cruise, Cape Cod Canal = short Panama Canal?? :rotfl: :rotfl: Nah, it's Disney :mickeybar :mickeybar

Good night all.

Bob aka Dread Pirate Barnacle Bob

What Have I Done!!!! Am I nuts or what, (don’t answer that, I know the answer) I post a link to a place for which Lynn has a real affinity. Oh well she is a big girl with her own credit cards. Lynn is such a good customer she has a CD with their available patterns. Lynn hold out for the DEMA Show, you can make it till then.

Wow, miss a day and you're 13 pages behind! Maybe even more - gotta figure out exactly where I left off.
I'll have to take an hour or 5 tomorrow to catch up.
;)

Just had to share my exciting news:

When I checked e-mails this morning I found out we won tickets to the sneek peek event at Disneyland on May 4!
We really should pass on it - but it's too late now.... I've been a booking fool today getting everything all set up. We're going to Disney!
:teeth:
It will be a quick trip for us, but would love to say hello if anyone else will be there for the big kick-off.
Do you know when and where Jamie is performing yet Linda?

Also got a GREAT post card in the mail today to get us even more excited about the cruise, if that is possible.
Very cool that it showed up on my birthday! :cloud9:

Now if only DCL had cooperated and gotten our docs here today
Oh well, lots of pixie dust flowing anyway.

2) I am a third degree black belt in Taekwondo, hence the name 3DAN(meaning black belt). Not currently active due to a shoulder tear.
We have cat 3 .
More to come
Bill

OOOh sorry about the shoulder. I had a badly dislocated shoulder, nasty rotater cup, that ended my Aikido days. I sure miss Aiki Weapons work.
Warning Grasshoppers, You all see a big fat lady swinging around something that looks like a broomstick or an ax handle ... Look out, she way outta practice ....

I have two cats: Tink (AKA StinkieTink, or Tinkbutt) and Cleo (AKA the SkiddyCat)

We bought this countdown clock at a yard sale about a year ago for $5.00 and then we put our own sign on it we started at 367 days and now we are at 22.

:cool1:  :cool1:  :cool1:  [/QUOTE]

OK...that is just cool!!!!! How fun to have that to look at...reminds me of the countdown clock at my post office for the millenium.....

Fun, fun, fun.....

3DAN,

:faint: I'm such a dork.... I thought kittycats.... not Category 3.
And me in my meager Cat 7 Nav. I was better off thinking kitties.

Steve,

I'll NEVER AGAIN drive a motorhome down highway 1! I think that's where they invented roller coasters!

Last time I drove Hwy 1 I was carrying 13 assorted guns and 260 pounds of live ammunition in the trunk ....Ahhh, the '70's.....

Sleep depravation is slowly taking it’s toll.

Celeste, is your paper finished?????? The dog ate my homework really dosen't work any more. At least that's my story and I am sticking to it.

The damn paper is finished...not my best work-but done. I REALLY slacked off this week- too many posts. Too many things to do.....

Of course when I was trying to upload it- I had MANY problems. I have a new Sony laptop and I haven't loaded all my programs on it...so I am trying to format my paper in APA format (anyone else HATE APA?) and email it to the new computer. It's not working...and not working. I then try to burn the file on CD- my writer is not recognizing the disk- then I realize when it does burn- I burned the unrevised version...and on and on it goes. The assignment was 4 minutes late....I'll have to see what happens.

:confused3
I'm too tired to care at this point- but I'll care in the AM

OK - I think I have a little problem here -

I am usually the driver, since I don't drink. Yea, I don't drink. Not that I am against it, I just never have.

I am usually the designated driver and since I can't steer the ship for us....

what am I going to do???

I can just be a "keeper" and take care of those who get out of hand?

Any suggestions???
:rolleyes1

I don't drink.
You can hang out with me and laugh at those who do...

I usually sit there and talk to everyone and then tell them all the funny things they did the next day.....

Drunks say the darndest things....

I hope you got your paper done Celeste!
I hope to start my master's in a year or two, after we start a family
You will never believe how wonderful it is...makes you look at nursing in a whole new light. I have liked everything so far- except Biostatistics- that was HARD :guilty:

Although all the work- is not so much fun. (There were other words I wanted to use to describe how I really felt...)

I just amused myself by realizing that I corrected my paper with a pen I got from the Strattera drug rep. (adult ADHD medication...) I think the board makes me have ADD- I want to play and not study.

There is a fine line separating hobby from obsession. This group has crossed that line and it is now several miles back. In the 24 hour period that was April 20 (midnight to midnight) we went from page 595 to 615. Every time I got done reading a page, another page was filled. I'm exhausted.

There is so much to talk about. The biographies have been fun. I'll have to figure out what to say about us and post it soon. Hmmm... should I include any of my past lives?

Cotomom -- good luck with Bell. We have one our our 'children' going in for surgery tomorrow (well, technically today). Long story short: They got in a fight, one bit the tail of the other. The wounds aren't healing well, so they have to amputate the tail. She'll be fine, after a few months of therapy I will be too.

Mickbee -- I can see a DVC rep on the ship, and I can see them not having a rep. Two weeks is a long time to try and convince a group of Disney-crazed sailors to buy into DVC. They need someone for the west coast sailings, but flying them to CA could be just as easy. Personally, I want the DVC rep on board. Then they can host a few gatherings with complimentary adult beverages.

AZ Pirates -- we all expect a full report on the May 4 events. If Disney is going to close the Magic Kingdom to the public for a whole day, you know something good is happening.

Celeste -- congratulations on finishing the paper. Maybe you can give a presentation on death and dying in Alaska. Ewwww.... :rotfl:

To all those who got docs -- congratulations. Kevin is still doc-less. He still thinks there is a conspiracy even though I try to explain I'm not behind an elaborate plot against him. Maybe today. DCL confirmed he is sailing.

Regarding REAS -- Debbie has to be the nicest phone person at Disney. She was so friendly, helpful and just a joy to work with. I wish all the phone folk were as fun as her.

Musical challenges in the Promenade Lounge -- I'm willing to give it a go. I'm much better at obscure trivia (who played this person on TV, what is the capital of Montana, etc.). As long as it is not a Name That Tune kind of exercise, I think I can do it. And no karaoke. No, no, no. I won't partake in that.

I guess it's time for bed. Have to cuddle with the injured child for a while first.

Good night, sleep tight, and pleasant dreams to you.
Here's a wish, and a prayer that every dream comes true,
And now, until we meet again...
Adios, au revior, auf weidersehen... GOOD NIGHT!

Randall

:earsboy:

Kay,
Eric and I don't drink either, but we sure have a good time! Just being aboard makes us high, so you'll see us dancing in the hallways and playing like kids. Feel free to join in any time!

Renae

Cotomom,

Good wishes, pixie dust, and prayers are winging their way to you as I write. I know what it's like to worry about a 'baby' and I really hope all goes well!

Renae

Good morning everyone:

heading up to Deck 9 for my Hot Chocolate. Not quite awake yet but going anyways. Going to be quick, so probably won't see anyone :cool1: :cool1:

Have to wake up. Going in to help an attorney set up her office this morning. Went to talk to her yesterday and thought I was walking into a war zone. Only staying until Noon. The things I get myself into

Chat soon

Randall, Angela and I will serve as Kevin's honorary "Docs". Tee Hee. Teach those people at DCL a lesson.
Renae, we love beignets. We even buy the mix up here and make them ourselves. We got the Port Orleans mugs many years ago when staying at the OKW. Still use them when we go and cannot do without the beignets. YUM!!!
No Documents here either. I'm bummed.
Celeste, can I see your cat. 7, pretty please, pretty please????
I really would like to see cat 8,9,10,11, and 12 also, anybody listening? I anticipate that in the future I will be staying in these categories. I tend to think that I would do very well without a window. I like the thought of total darkness.
We only have had a cat. 4 before and now a cat. 3. The light coming in has always bothered me in any place including my own house. Guess I should fix that.
I also have a rotator cuff tear. At least that is what they think. The MRI does not show anything except tendonitis in the back of the shoulder. The pain is in the front where the biceps inserts at the shoulder. They call it a S.L.A.P. lesion. I have not researched it but they also say it may not show on an MRI. They just want me to have surgery . NO NO NO NO. I don't think so. I am about 95% normal now without anything. (at least my shoulder!!)
