A BIG THANK-YOU TO EVERYONE ​

I was in pretty bad shape last night when I posted about tomorrow's Civil Service Exam. So many of you wrote such encouraging thoughts. Words could never truly express my gratitide. Please know I was really touched.

My plan is to get a good night's sleep, and go in expecting to do my best with God's help. I'm greatful His mercies are new every morning!

I've been told the test was designed to be very hard, and will consist of 20-minute problems (don't know how many). The test will take 3 hours (from 9 to 12). I don't know when the results will be posted.

I definitely felt a BIG group hug. Thanks for reaching out! See everyone soon!

DH called the cruislline this morning and found out the following moviesare tentatively scheduled to be showing on the Magic during our cruise.

No Star Wars, but that could change. We'll have to call back closer in. They have things like National Treasure, Pacifier, Ladder 49, Mary Poppins, Incredibiles, Pirates of the Carribean - stuff like that.​

I was wondering if they would be showint Pirated the night of the POC Party! Wouldn't it be cool if they had a LATE showing (say after the deck party) and we could all go in our pirate garb!

P.S. For all you that said I had to buy drinks....I can only afford the ones at the Deck 9 drink station...remember we're Canadians and it costs us more to get a US dollar (well actually about $1.26 CDN for $1 US) !!!!!!!

It sounds less complicated to me than renting a car and worrying about traffic etc. in LA. It's going to be one heck of a party on those buses! We usually just drive out to the port, but this time we can't, or we'd have to go back out there to pick it up afterwards.

Mom & I are using DCL transfers to get to/from the ship. We are staying at Disney's Grand Californian after the cruise.

I just thought it would be easier for us - I've heard that the freeways in LA are crazy.

Thanks for posting that Georgie. I hope they update that list a little bit more before we sail...those are, for the most part, the same movies that were playing when we sailed in December. Now, I love the Incredibles and National Treasure, but both will have been released on DVD by the time we sail. Usually DCL tries to have more current stuff running don't they? Especially for this long of a cruise. People will go see movies more, both because it will be a nice respit from the heat and because we will have more time on the ship.

.........Found the blinky flip flops at our Walmart today..so if any of you in South Florida still need them, they had a good assortment of colors and sizes at the Cooper City Walmart on Flamingo and Griffin..check both sides of the racks..all the blinky flips were not together...they are all spread out.

DCL is only providing service to Disney Resorts (Paradise Pier, Disneyland Hotel and Grand Californian).

Attire, = There will be two (2) formal and two (2) semi formal evenings. There will be one (1) pirate(1)tropical nights. I guess that leaves nine (9) "cruise casual" nights were jeans are allowed in the dining rooms (don't even get me started!)

Food = There are plans to introduce new lunch and dinner menus so that no menu will be repeated during the course of the sailing.

Entertainment = A new production show to be offered. Called " Twice Charmed ". Cinderella themed Stage Show.

Donald Ducky Williams, will be onboard and we will recieve 2 Lithographs
1 for going on the cruise and one for going thru the canal.
This has been said on other cruises by DDW .

Canal Party = All seas travel, is hosting a party in the Roy Suite the day of the Canal crossing . for its customers. You can do better than that..

Return Cruisers Gift = It is rumored that there is a new gift not a beach towel as on past Cruise's.

The UPS man showed up just as I got home. A package for my son. Then I get on the board and realize I should have held him hostage for my documents. If I'd only known.

I was wondering if they would be showint Pirated the night of the POC Party! Wouldn't it be cool if they had a LATE showing (say after the deck party) and we could all go in our pirate garb!
