I hope that everyone had a great Saturday! After picking up my docs from the TA's office today I went on a luggage search since my suitcase(which was over halfway packed) was TOO BIG by Delta's baggage dimensions. All I was going to buy was one suitcase, honest.....

I really tried to be good but I came home with TWO new Disboard lime green suitcases, two pair of shorts, sandals, a bathing suit, pj's for the jammie breakfast and one new map of Florida. I've got to find a way to drive past the outlets in St. Augustine without stopping when I head down to Florida in just 11 days...

baggage information

Free Checked Baggage Allowance on Domestic Flights: As a fare-paying customer, JetBlue allows you to check up to three pieces of baggage, except for travel to and from Puerto Rico where the number of checked bags is limited to two pieces. The maximum weight is 70 pounds each. The maximum size is 62 inches (length plus width plus height) each. Excess baggage charges apply to additional pieces, overweight pieces and oversized pieces of baggage. The following fees apply to baggage not meeting the above requirements:

Overweight up to 100 pounds - $50 USD.
Oversize up to 80 inches - $50 USD.
When both oversize and overweight - $100 USD.
In no event will baggage be accepted that is over 100 pounds or exceeds 80 inches in overall dimensions. Regulations require name identification on the outside of each checked bag. We also recommend placing name identification on the inside of your luggage. For more tips on packing, click here.

· to actually MEET everyone that I've been "chatting" with over the past couple of months
· to attend my first Disboards sailaway party !!!!
· to be seen in public in my jammies for the first time
· to visit places I have never been before...Curacao, Acapulco, Mazatlan, Cabo San Lucas and California
· to experience the MAGIC of sailing through the Panama Canal for the first time
· to attend a scrapbook class on a cruise ship
· to WIN a scavenger hunt (we are going to win right Robin (Moocow35)??)
· to try new foods on the ship
· to visit Disneyland and Disney’s California Adventure for the very first time
· to see our room at The Grand Californian Resort
· to take our Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour at Disneyland
· to see the Fantasmic show from the Disney Gallery on the 29th
· to have 3 weeks away from work!!!!!!
and last but not least....to spend 3 glorious weeks on this trip of a lifetime with my Mom

Well, we're are back from our shopping trip to the US.

Didn't end up buying the Tinkerbell, or Eyeore, or Mickey, or Minnie jammies. Let's just say tried them all on and they didn't like my body structure ....so off we went to find some other jammies. Visited MANY stores and we finally find some really cool jammies but you'll have to wait to see them!!!!

Saw the blinking flippy floppy thingies at Walmart!!!!! Love them!!!! Can't wait to get ours from Shari (spros).

Did get something neat at Walmart...something called spacesaver bags....apparently you fill them up and seal them and then roll it up and the air goes out and you can pack more!!!!! Just what I need.... I bought two!!!!!

I'm so excited....I found out we got tickets to the Walk in Walt's Footsteps Tour at Disneyland and the Fantasmic Dessert Buffet on the 29th. Yippee!!!!

I wish we were doing both...We did WDW in December 2004 and will just be flying in the day of the cruise. Oh how I wish we could have gone to WDW before the cruise and then cruise and then go to Disneyland...Well at least I get to tell people that within 6 months I went to WDW, Disneyland and on not 1 but 2 Disney cruises!!!!

Do any of my new friends want to see the city where I live????

Well you can tomorrow night on tv. On Sunday May 1st on CBS at 9 pm is a movie called "Riding the Bus With My Sister" starring Rosie O'Donnell and Andie MacDowell which is based on the inspiring true story about the unbreakable bond between two sisters and it was filmed right here in HAMILTON ONTARIO CANADA. I know what you're saying "but you're from Stoney Creek not Hamilton"...well it's a long story...Stoney Creek was it's own city until the Provincial Government made us (as well as 5 other cities/towns) amalgamate with Hamilton in 2001 and we actually fought to be able to keep using the name Stoney Creek so while I say I live in Stoney Creek in reality it is now part of Hamilton.

So I thought if you want to see my neck of the woods, not sure what parts of the city they used but I do know they used our public transit buses in the movie....I wonder if they took off all the HSR (Hamilton Street Railway) logos or not.

Can't wait to watch the movie.
