We have also booked a transfer from the ship to Disneyland Hotel. Thinking of hiring a car for two days from anaheim for return at the airport leaving it up to Hertz to sort out. We have our stateroom allocation on deck 6. Arriving in the USA on 12th and staying at Beach Club villas.
Not long now, we booked April 04

Hi Kara, I got mine several days ago. Maybe you could call DCL and request one. My envelope looked like it had seen better days when it got to me. They stuffed too much into a regular envelope in my opinion. Yours could have been munched by the Postal machine somewhere?

I also got mine a couple of days ago. Still haven't had a chance to look it over. I talked to a drug rep today that told me that the beach at Curacao is really great. She recommended it. She apparently walked to the beach from where the ship docked and they also have a trail just for cruisers. She also took the tour of the city and liked it.

Anyone else still looking for Port To Anaheim transport??

We will probably end up going with SuperShuttle. It is $74 for up to 7 people for an exclusive shuttle. They charge an extra $10 for each additional stop. We are stopping at Paradise Pier and the Fairfield Inn so the total is $84 plus gratuity.

If you have less than 7 people, the fare is $38 for the first person and $9 for each additional person.

Nothing here in Canada...but then again I'm not surprised....I still haven't received my confirmation notice showing I paid in full. I finally had to call and get them to fax it to my work. I then had to run over to the fax and wait for it to come through 'cause I didn't want my co-workers to see what I was paying for my trip.

Keeping my fingers crossed for finally getting a room assignment - I'm hoping for deck 2 - mid ship. Otherwise we might be joing the life boat suite gang...but hey we can't complain we're on the ship.

P.S. Since everyone was talking about the book "Path Between the Seas" - I ordered it on line and it was delivered today. Will make for some interesting reading while at the gym but I'm not sure I''ll get through all 704 pages before we leave!!

My parents did a panama canal cruise when I was a kid (a while ago ) and when we were visiting them over Christmas, my Mom gave me "Path Between the Seas" and it is still sitting on my nightstand. I am an avid reader, but........ I'm not sure this is what I'm looking for right now. Maybe as we get closer to our travel date!

Hey all,
The excursion booklet made it all the way to AZ.
I think it came on 3/15, postmarked 3/10.
(Booked directly through DCL)
I had already booked the excursions we wanted before it came - but still fun to look through.

I have not started my Path Between the Seas book yet either. May have to do a bit of skimming on that one - it is one thick book!
I love to read and I'm really excited about the trip - you'd think I'd dive right in. Just too much going on I guess.

Good info on supershuttle and Curacao!

Next week is spring break here. We may have to do a little cruise shopping since we don't have a trip planned.

We have been on a 4 day cruise where we were able to make a reservation for Palo for one of those nights. (I have to confess that we were not all that impressed with the food and had to wait a very long time for it to come.) I plan to give Palo another try when we are on the 14 day cruise. I'm wondering how often some of you are planning to dine there. Has anyone heard anything about making Palo reservations for this cruise?

Just checked and noticed our Primetime Shuttle to SNA from GC is $24 for the two of us on 5/31.

I had our Cannal maps laminated at Staples today and it was only $6.40.

This is Lynn, as Scott said, I am reading these on my graveyard shift. I have also been reading "The Path Between the Seas", I don't normally read non-fiction, but I am finding this really enjoyable, I am about 1/3 way thru, page 252 to be exact, and I would recommend it to all. I am also having a good time keeping up with all the posts instead of having Scott summarize them all for me.

Hi everyone,

Well once again, NOTHING in the mail for us. I finally called DCL and they said " go look on the web site and you can see the excursions" well, that is not the same thing, I want them printed like everyone else <a href='http://www.smileycentral.com/?partner=ZSzeb008_ZNxdm813' target='_blank'><img src='http://smileys.smileycentral.com/cat/36/36_1_4.gif' border=0></a>. Of course we have no cabin assignment, deck 4 is really very nice, those of us without cabins can do a little decorating and we will be all set.

We have a hotel for Saturday & Sunday at the Carousel Inn & Suite right across the street from the parks. We got a great rate that includes a full breakfast. We will fly back to NH on Monday afternoon, unbelieveably we have a direct flight to NH ... Have to still arrange transportation to the hotel from the port and then to LAX on Monday, I will probably work on that this weekend.

I will call DCL again today and see if we have a cabin, however I think we may be at the back of the list since we paid off the cruise last October.
