I know this will come as a complete surprise to everyone, but one of my interests is improv comedy. Since DCL took the improv out of Off-Beat, it's up to us to bring improv back to the Magic. So, I'll be "hosting" some improv games on one of the at sea days TBD. Anyone interested? No experience necessary. It's just for fun. Audience members needed, too, but a minimum drink requirement may be imposed to enhance the comedic value of participants.

Seaulater = Disboard Navigator for this cruise. Now, I'm not coming up with an original idea here, but credit goes to Mark and Mary from the 10 day Christmas Cruise who made the Navigator and delivered to everyone's "fish" for when they arrived at their stateroom door.

I will make up the navigator (for everything we have scheduled prior to the cruise), print, bring, and deliver to everyone. I will also bring extras for the sailaway party(ies).
What Mary did is post the Navigator before we left on her website and then people could print out if they wanted.
So here's what it will list:
1. People's names; location and whether they are playing tag or not..
2. Each day and the schedule of disboard activities for that day.
3. A place for Notes
4. Anything else that might be deemed important.

NejTheLion = I was thinking about offering to put together a DVD of the cruise - collecting photos and possibly video footage from the cruisers afterwards, making some music videos, slideshows, etc. I'm in the process of desiging and putting up a website doing this, already having done quite a few for assorted family functions. I can make them all spiffy - real cases, color covers, direct color printing on the discs. Nothing that needs to be decided now - just wondering if that's something any of you might be interested in... Email Here Just Click. Cost for the DVDs $5-10 including shipping. .

Some folks are staying at 2 of the most stayed at resorts at the Port
Ron Jons and the Radisson, no official meets have been Set up as of yet but Look for folks all day around the pool area's also several others at the Airport hyatt and plans are in works.

Working From home for next2 weeks

Good luck with your review I got mine a couple of weeks ago and am glad it is out of the way. Now I can really focus on the trip!!! Well and focus on getting my house ready to sell

I had my review last week too. Went in expecting the worse, especially since CEO was not too happy a couple of weeks before that about me taking 2 weeks off work. Well, I went in with my agenda and she had hers. I was pretty darn well prepared and had decided beforehand that even though their was a ceiling on increases that it was not acceptable to me. Had a whole list of things and an analysis of how much money I have saved our organization with finances. I told her that I wanted more than the "expected raise". She said how much are you asking for? (And since I see what comes through finance I had it all figured out!). I told her, going for the high end. She didn't bat and eye and said yes she was willing to give me that. I about fell over in my chair. I actually said....that was too easy, maybe I should ask for more? She laughed and said, nope, I think you knew that was the highest I would be willing to go.

Needless to say, that will help pay off the cruise balance!

I saw that the cat 4 was available yesterday too. We are waitlisted for a cat 4, so I called DCL and was told that it really isn't available, just for waitlist. (Ugh!)
This doesn't make a lot of sense to me, but....

Anyway, when I just looked again, everything from Cat 5-12 are showing available. I keep waiting for someone to cancel within the next week so we can get a cat 4.

It's funny, cuz I have never gone in to a review and ever asked for more than what was offered. I didn't sleep the night before (and I figured she was still "upset" I was taking two weeks off). She didn't even bring up the vacation, figured she knows she will be SOL if I left and am the only one here that knows whats going on financially. The auditors told her if I ever leave that they will automatically double their audit fee! Guess she figured she better take care of me.

I am a pretty assertive and direct person, or should I say I am an assertive and direct person, but it's funny how I haven't ever asked for more than what was given! Taught me a good lesson. Should have learned it 25 years ago though, maybe I could have been going on more cruises!

Robert has the mask that you mentioned. He is going to bring his own mask and snorkel. So I think he is set.

I booked him for Cabo, but the Curacao is full right now. They told me to keep checking back. Do you know the tour operator for the Curacao one that he would fit Robert in?

I like the idea of having my own agenda...I will work on that, though as I understand it, raises and bonuses (if we get one) are already decided before we have our reviews since they go into effect 3/1 and my review hasn't actually been scheduled yet. Maybe I just get to be surprised.

For Robert, even if he doesn't get in on the Curacao diving once you board, you may want to check in with the excursions desk the day before. If anyone has to cancel last minute because they are sick, that would be the time for him to jump in to take that slot. Diving is one excursion you cannot fake while sick!

This morning I had to go to the Main Office. To work I usually work out on a Construction site. since the Job At Foxswoods is now complete.
and the Co. is in between Jobs for a couple of Weeks. Early March Start Date ?

So I Walked into the office and Told the owner that I was going to take a Lay Off.. SHE said lets discuss this.. So I told her my likes and Dislikes !! and that since I Was out of the Boston Local.. that if she did not have something Closer to My Home I was Done.. The office is In Jamestown RI. (Near Newport) about 2 hour ride.. and after doing a round trip of 260 miles for the last job, I have had enough..
The commute time is not worth it.. 3 hour rides home with traffic
So She did not want to give me the Lay Off.. And asked If I would Work From my house for the Next 2 Weeks I Said Sure.. LoL
Dont ask me why She wants to keep Myself and My friend and Partner around

Thanks! I just called again and Donald helped me. Sure enough, there were spots open. I think the CM yesterday was a little clueless. She couldn't even find it at first!

So, Robert is now booked on both the Curacao and the Cabo dives. Sounds like quite a party to me!
