20050430 or... April 30, 2005 cruise, anyone?

Just booked a couple of days ago, were staying room 5518, cannot wait, my sons thinks that it will be great to get to know you nehpew before we go, then they can meet up. Sounds great.

Congratulations on booking! My nephew will be excited to find out he won't have to spend all his time with just his little cousins.

Has anyone booked a hotel for the night before the cruise? I think we will be booking the Radisson and would like to do it soon. I'm curious to know what kind of rates people are getting for the same time period.

If I find any great rates I will post them here. Wish me luck!

I just booked the Radisson for $119 a night. It was the best I could find for now. If something better comes along, I will cancel and rebook. This was the cruise special rate that includes 2 free breakfasts, free parking and the shuttle. I've heard you can get the shuttle regardless of whether or not you book the cruise special but this was the same price and had the breakfasts included.

Well the bad news is we have to cancel our reservations for the April 30 cruise.

The good news is I'm pregnant!!! The baby is due beginning of May, hence why we need to cancel. We're just putting it off until this baby is old enough, like 4 years from now, but it's okay. We really wanted to have another baby, and this will be our last.

Sorry but not if you know what I mean. Have fun on the cruise everyone!!!!

Lee

Congratulations! What a wonderful reason to have to cancel a cruise!

Great news, congradulations, I had to cancell our 1st curise for the same reason. The best reason. En joy & you'll be cruising in no time with a bigger family.

Good luck

Thats the same rate we got..I am hoping to fly in early enough this time to enjoy the pool at the Radisson before the cruise, last time we didn't get there until almost 9pm and went in the pool the following morning for a little befroe the cruise...this time I would like to have half the day before to go in the pool and hot tub since the ones on board are SO tiny!

OK, just bumping this up to see if any new people are joinging us!

You can add my Dad and me to the "new people" you were searching for. I booked us two weeks ago, but I just starting searching for this thread today.

I'll have to beg your forgiveness for my procrastination. I'm taking my sisters and a friend on the Oct 24 Wonder so I've been a little wrapped up in the details for that trip (which is fast approaching).

The April cruise will be my 7th cruise and my Dad's 4th. He wanted to go on a cruise for his b-day in February, but I talked him into waiting until April so that I could afford to take us on the 7 night cruise. He wanted to try the western itinerary since we had already done the eastern, but I got a fantastic group rate fare for this cruise which I couldn't pass up! When I told Dad, he said that he could "make do" with the eastern. As you can imagine, his funeral arrangements have been made at....

Great! Welsome to the cruise!! I had to search pages for this thread!!!!
Has anyone booked the REAS package for this cruise? I actually booked it even though its me, my mom and daughter so at laest this way my Palo and spa can be booked prior to going and we can stay at the Raddisson a little later and enjoy the pool there prior to boarding. I love the pool there!
I actually loved the Western cruise but since we did that last year I ill give the eastern a shot. I have already been to St Thomas so a 7 day stay years ago but I did like it there. I liked the Western for the only 2 days at sea, I wasn't sure if I could deal with more than that but I did fine for those two days and the eastern one for this week was pretty cheap so I booked it while onboard last cruise.

Bumping up!!!!

Booked my airfare today...getting into Orlando at 120 on Friday!!

Thank you aprilgail for bumping this up.

We just booked for the April 30th cruise. Will be me, dh, and ds (15). Is anyone cruising with older kids? Seems like everyone has younger ones on this voyage. :)

This will be our 5th Disney cruise, we have also cruised a lot of others, but disney is the best! This will actually be our first time going to the Eastern Carib on Disney. Has anyone decided what excursions etc they are going to do?

We also booked the REAS package so I don't have to do the ressie rush and hopefully, get our choice of dining rotation.

I know this cruise has to be pretty full because Disney doesn't even show it on their site anymore and Dreams (who we book through) only had two rooms available...now none! So hopefully there are at least SOME teens cruising for my son to meet up with! LOL

I actually booked the REAS package too and I am going with my mom LOL!!! I just want to make my Palo dinner and spa ressies without having to deal with it the first day so it was the easiest way!
There are plenty of rooms left on this cruise.....I just looked at the Disney website (you need to put in May when you look, they list the April 30th cruise as May)...I booked onboard last May and the price I paid is 1,000 less than what they are going for now!

Are those prices you just pasted for 2 people??? because I got 2 cabins and 4 people for the exact prices that are listed now...

I just booked and got it for ALOT less than the price listed there. We have a cat 6. I didn't look under May, that might be why it wouldn't show.

Glad to see I got a much better deal than I thought! :) Thank you Dreams and Sue Ellen!

This thread had started out like lightening and haven't seen anyone post in awhile....can we be the only ones still going LOL?? I lost all my lime green mickeys from the last cruise, maybe I will buy one of those bright green Dis shirts this cruise!

Just checking in to find out the ages of your kids for this cruise. Our DD is 11, and our DS is 14. Our daughter is very social, and our son very shy!
