Your soooo lucky! I have been trying to get my mom to come with us, but she's not willing to shell out the money to fly to Orlando. She said if it ever comes to the west coast her and my dad will be there. If any of the rumors are true, she won't have long to wait.

I am not officially booked yet but I am going to book this date when we are onboard in 4 weeks! Do any of you happen to have a mom in their 70's that you are bringing along?? I am booking for me, my then 5 year old and my then 76 year old mom and she is worried that she won't have anyone near her age to talk to! My mom is pretty active for her age (she watches my daughter 40 hours a week!) and would like to have someone her age in the Dis group!
My birthday is in April (hence the name AprilGail) so I am making the cruise my 42 birthday present to myself!! I think we may do a week at Disney and Universal along with the cruise, I think after it. Does anyone know what Easter falls on next year??

My Dmom will be coming along with us, she will be turning 69 next March. I know Rae's mom is coming along, and she just turned 75 this past week.

Easter in 2005 is March 27th, another reason we waited until the end of April to book this cruise.

What is your birthdate in April? Mine is April 20th.

Thats great! My mom turned 75 on Jan 7th so they are as close in age as I could have hoped for!!

We need to add my Mom to the list! She will be cruising with us and this is her first real vacation ever. This is an early Mother's Day gift from my sister and I. My Mom will be 65 when we cruise and deserves to finally get a vacation. She did raise 8 kids after all!

I spoke to Bill and Tami at cruisetraveloutlet.com and they have assured me that they have a block of rooms for this cruise.

After MANY successful cruises using their services, I highly recommend them for the lowest prices and best services!

Glad there will be so many of our Parents aboard - such a wonderful way to have a vacation with three and maybe even four generations represented!

I tried to get a quote from them but they never called...can I book on board and switch it there? How does that work?

I can't believe they didn't call back. If you are still interested, email the boss (bill@cruisetraveloutlet.com). I know he will answer!

And no, I don't get anything from them for mentioning them here - I just want everyone to be able to afford to come with us that wants to.

Yes, you can book on board and switch later. That's what I do in order to get the onboard credit. IF DCL had a better rewards program for frequent cruisers or repeat cruisers rather than the towel, it wouldn't be necessary. They need to get a better program instituted.
