One of my brothers just called me to let me know he and his girlfriend will also be cruising with us on 4/30/05! I'm really excited to add them to the list. I cannot wait to cruise!

We'll be on this cruise, as well. We'll have DH and myself, plus DS (14) and DD (11) plus my Mom (61) and Dad (65). These will be their ages at the time we sail.

This is my parents first cruise, and our second. We took great trip on the Wonder last May.

I'd love for my kids to be able to e-mail other kids their age, who might be in either the teen or kids clubs with them. My son, especially, can be quite shy when it comes to meeting new people.

I'm putting down the deposit today at lunch... It will just be me and my DD, 9 at sailing. Would like to keep it a secret as long as possible. We go to Jetty park about twice a month to watch all the ships leave on Saturday and on 4/30/05 I'd like to go earlier and "see if they would let us go up close to see the Magic." And ... surprise, let's just get on, too!

Huey... What a FANTASTIC memory you are going to create for your daughter - one she'll remember for her whole life!!! I'm totally impressed! Can't wait to meet you and your daughter - of course we'll be able to spot your daughter a mile away from the beaming smile....

Was thinking of ways to "break the news" and I think I'm going to give her gifts once a week starting the month before and with the gifts (like snorkel & fins, underwater camera, etc.) I'm going to give her a scrabble letter. Then on that Saturday morn in April, take her to Perkins or something in Cocoa Beach and and have her pull out all the scrabble letters and have her unscramble the letters to reveal my message. Don't know what I'll say, but it'll be something easy like "we are going cruising!" Won't have to mention Disney... that's a given! Watched the Magic leave Sat. and saw our room porthole!! (7514!!)

Only 4-5 days til the BIG announcement from Disney - wonder if the Disney Speculation will be the surprise we all hoped it would be.

Mom is "considering" the West to East Panama Crossing with us, by the way!

I am going to HIGHLY recommend the REAS (Romantic Escape at Sea) package that we had ($299) - lots of threads talking about it, but take it from a "penny pincher" - it was the best present for both of us I could have given to us!

I think that the REAS sounds great and I am definatly going to get it. Thats if they dont take it away or drasticaly increase the price. Some were speculating the would because it has become so popular. Im keeping my fingers crossed.
