The website pic shows a white box while the old one (magical Gatherings) is purple. I'm not sure if this makes a difference or not. I ordered another on friday. Lets hope for the best!

got mine last friday and me too it wuz the old version. i've send an e-mail to disney.com and got this reply :

According to the CM I spoke with, if you ordered after January 2nd, you will get the new kit. Good luck!

There must be a miscommunication on their part.

I read the same info from this board (when I was only a lurker, before I joined) so I actually ordered mine online around Jan 4th. Got it about 2 weeks later and still received the Magical Gathering DVD.

I think that Disney is having some issues in terms of sending vacation videos to Canada...I ordered one the 1st week of Jan..got the old one. Called back Feb 1st ordered it again and it arrived today...AGAIN the old one...if i get the old one a third time i will be VERY annoyed...how is it fair that we are recieving the 2004 video when people in the States are recieving 2005....I'll definately be asking to speak with a supervisor if I recieve 2004 a third time. Its frustrating

I don't remember if I did order mine after january 2nd... I think so. I did order another one last week when Disney mailed me the old version. But apparently it seems it's best to call to get the 2005 version.

Does anyone have a 1-800 number? I went on disney.com phone list and couldn't find one.

To anyone who has tried (and failed) at getting the 2005 video, it might be important to realize that Canadians cannot order it online. Only the 2004 video is available. You must call in order to receive it. So, I'm not sure if those who ordered after Jan 2 and still received the old version had phoned or simply ordered online. It seems to make a difference. Perhaps you could tell us which way you attempted.

I don't have the number off hand but it is easy to find. It's just the main reservation line. You will get a menu and I think it's option three. It will say something about ordering the vacation planning kit. Sorry to be so vague.

I'm going to need to make some more space in the dvd cabinent if this keeps up!

Hi,

I tried back as I said I would and I got a really nice CM who searched her screens and said... Planning 2005 released January 7th English Domestic? I said "Bingo" and she said that it's on it's way... so I think I got it this time. I'll post when I recieve it. I think we both pretended I was "domestic". Maybe that is the key?
