2005 Magic Summer Info...

I am excited about seeing the Mexican Riviera....though I agree, they don't need any MORE visitors at Disneyland...that park is always sooooo crowded. One time my mother asked for a refund after being in the park only 20 minutes last summer, it was absolutely packed. I heard later in the day it was closed for any more people entering. I've never been to the MK when it was as crowded as Disneyland has been on some of my visits there.. but in any case, I'm so excited about the summer cruises out of CA!!!
I'm assuming the transition cruises will go through the Panama Canal?

Thanks to the poster who described the differences in the Caribbean versus Pacific waters...interesting. Hope the Pacific isn't too rocky.

We went on a 7 day Mexico cruise in June years back and had a great time. Puerta Vallarta was beautiful! We took an excursion into the mountains, had an authentic lunch, shopped in the village which was delightful, and saw some beautiful old churches. Now mind you, there have been quite a few earthquakes since we sailed to Mexico.

Anyway, can sure understand how some feel about the $, and ports to sail is a very personal decision.

Cabo is OK, and it's fun to go to Senor Frogs (but not with kids!!!)

Shopping is awesome!

Matzalan (sp?) I cannot remember about...getting older brain here.

Wonder if Catalina would be a Castaway Cay type of stop? Probably not for the short term. Lots of other islands available, how about something on the Channel Islands?

Just glad we won't have to pay airfare for this trip if it comes to be, and be a part of Disneyland's 50th Celebration and first DCL in California!!!

Don't forget our beaches, the redwoods, San Francisco, Santa Barbara, San Simeon Castle, Yosemite, and Lake Tahoe if you can afford the time/$ to see California after a DCL/DL/DCA trip.

Just my 2 cents! Thanks for the happiness sent from those on the East coast for us Disney fans on the west coast!

48 more days until our 7 day Eastern Disney cruise on the Magic!!!

(need dh to help me with my countdown clock!;)
