2005 AP discounts

But only on the day of the party. You take a chance it could be soldout.
I am not sure if that is a correct interpretation. It says the discount is off of the Day-of price. It does not say that you have to buy it the same day. I guess we will find out eventually.

On Deb's site it mentions half off on PI admission as part of the program. Is this still the case?

Let me get this right (sorry if I am hijacking the thread), a Disney Dining Experience card will get you 20% off your bill at most restaurants in WDW? And now the DDE card is available to AP holders for $50?

Sounds great. Let me know if I have something wrong.

I have no idea about the PI discount. Deb's site also says the card was good for 6 people (it used to be), now it is good for up to 10 people.

Mickey Fliers, you are correct. When I called, they had not changed the automated phone menu, it still says "Fl Residents", but I specifically asked, and was allowed to order it :)

I'm in the same boat as you. 2 trips (the last one being 51.5 weeks after the other to maximize our AP).

I hope we can orderthe DDE right before we go and then use it for both trips. Or could I call once at WDW and have then fax the info to the hotel?

Another queston is do you need an active AP? We only have the vouchers and we can't activate them living up here in Canada?

I just called and talked with Allison at DDE.
Yes it is now available for all AP holders.

Yes it satrts the day you order it...these are printed offsite, no place to activate it at WDW.

Yes it is $50 and that will get you two cards..yes two cards

If you are trying to get the most out of 1 card...order it as close to your arrival day as you can and they will fax or email you a confirmation, and all places will accept that just like it was the actual card. They are only open Mon-Fri 9-6 EST. 407-566-5858

Another reason I'm glad to be an AP holder.

AMC® Theatres Pleasure Island 24

Receive $2 off adult evening admission price seven days a week after 6:00 p.m. Offer is valid for the Passholder only and not valid with any other offer or discount. Thats a nice break on a movie price too.

Disney's Fantasia Gardens Miniature Golf Course and Winter Summerland Miniature Golf Course
Get a 50% discount for the Passholder and up to three guests.

The Mini golf was 50% off passholder and 15% off guest now it is better with 50% off 3 guests too.

So many changes happening..I have to get a new notebook to keep up...lol

I'm a little confused about the "day of" tickets for the HP, Xmas P, etc. Does this mean that if we wait till the day of the party, if we're onsite, we can get the tickets for 25% off? I guess it still boils down to whether or not you're willing to take a chance on the event selling out. We were at the HP on Oct. 8, a Friday and it sold out. We did prepurchase in Aug so we were fine though. Guess it would be great if you were giong t be there for two different party nights. Prepurchase the day you really want to attend then if you get lucky you can go again at 25% discount.

Another question for all of you that I'm sure others are thinking as well...........you have to have an already activated AP to get the discount, right, not just a voucher?

I'm calling to ask if the AP needs to be activate when you order...hang on I'll let you know

YIPPIE!!!!! :jumping1:

I was just grumping to my friend John last week while sipping beer in WDW that I wish we could get Disney Dining as non-Florida residents.

Oh man! I am very, very happy. I will be able to save $50 the first few days of my next trip. All else is gravy, baby!

ETA:
Did anyone else notice on Deb's site: the DDE card also gets you into the AAA Diamond Lot ("follow the green line to parking") and FREE Valet Parking. :cool1:

YES

They will let you order the DDE with a AP voucher.

On Deb's site for last year info for FLA residents it says you would have to show your FLA ID along with the card to use it. So I would bet you would need to show your AP with the card to use it so that way there is no abuse going on.

YEAH one more great benefit for AP holders....

now come on AP rates for May.

thanks guys, I know we leave in about 4 weeks so I know we'd not have enough time for it to arrive. The fax thing is great.

DDE is only for a year from date of purchase

Somebody on the DVC board just reported that they purchased the card today and it expires on 1/31/06

Deb's list is dated 5/03. Does anyone have a current list? I'm curious if Everything Pop is included, the All Stars food courts are on the list.

The list on the WDW web page includes Disney's Pop Century Resort - Everything Pop Shopping and Dining and Classic Concoctions.

Thanks to everyone providing all this great info. You just helped make our decision btwn. AP and MYW!!!

Just out of curiousity, does anyone know if DDE includes alcoholic beverages?

Thanks again!!!

No it does not includes alcoholic beverages.
