2005/08/20 Childrens and Teens Thread

This thread has been set up for the Children on the 2005 14 day DCL cruise leaving Los Angeles on August 20th going through the Panama Canal to Port Canaveral. It is designed for the children to get to know each other, the main 2005/08/2004 is under thread ;-

Firstly Internet security, first names only, or Disnames, general locations please do not give any detail, and the first time you all should meet should be either Disneyland or the ship! Anywhere else refer to parents!

My Children have been in contact with a few by e-mail and I thought it would be nice to extend this up to all. I suggest at First introduce yourselves, age, if you have travelled on the ship or to Disney before, your favourite ride or show etc. Hobbies and sport, and favourite music.

Posting can be via your parents if required, but parents this is the kids thread, any usual stuff should be on the main thread.

Afterschool activities are girl scouts, karate, hip hop dance and I might start ice skating lessons again!

I am going to WDW in December and May and then the cruise!

I am Belle for Halloween. My Grandma made me Belle's red Christmas dress with a cape. It is very pretty! Have fun trick or treating!

I am off to a halloween party Sunday, but we do not trick and treat as much as you here.

We are currently having a little party here ourselves, this week is half term from school and we go back Monday, to Christmas.

We are off to Barbados for Christmas.

I have been on 4 cruises counting repositioning cruise next August.
My favorite colors are pink, purple and blue.
I play the flute and guitar.
I will be 11 years old on the cruise.
I listen to Hilary Duff and Lindsay Lohan music.
I am in the 5th grade at elemantary school.
My hobbies I do are girl scouts, hip-hop dance and knitting.
I don't play any sports other than hip-hop which is really a hobby. I am learning the spanish language at school.

I'm Rachel. I'm 12 years old. My favorite ride in disney world is Rock-n-roller coster and Tower of Terror. My favorite color is blue. My favorite animal is a dolphin, and I hope we see some on the cruise!!! I've been on a Disney cruise once before. I've been to Disney World three times. I know barley any Spanish, German, and French, but I know some. For Halloween I'm being a ghost. I love to dance and swim, but I don't swim as much because we don't live by a beach and we don't go to the pools much. I love the outdoors, but don't like camping. MY favorite type of candy is twix. Yum!!! I am in 7th grade right now. My favorite disney character is Goofy. I'd love to chat!!

Hi, I'm Lara. I'll be 9 years old on the cruise.
I live in Mississauga (near Toronto) Canada with my mom and dad. I have a betta fish but no other pets because my mom is allergic.
I'm in Grade 3. I like spelling, reading, and recess best!
In my free time, I dance. I take Ballet, Tap, Jazz, and Musical Theatre classes, as well as Artistic Gymnastics lessons.
I've been on the Magic once before and I really liked it.
My favourite place to eat is Animator's Pallate, and my favourite foods on board are Mickey's Chicken Noodle Sourp and the big chocolate chip cookies. I'm looking forward to getting some cookies and mickey ice cream bars from room service!
I've been to DisneyWorld 6 times but August will be my first trip to Disneyland.
My favourite rides are Rock n' Roller Coaster and Big Thunder Mountain.
My favourite Disney characters are all of the Princesses. I think I'm a princess too!
For Halloween, I'm going to be Lizzie McGuire.
I'm looking forward to meeting everyone and having fun in the Lab on all our Sea Days. I'm so happy to be in the older group that has parties and fun things starting around 10:00, instead of sleep mats and movies in the Club with the younger kids.

Thank you for your posts, Lara, Leia, Rachel, Mary, Emily, Kiele, went to a Halloween party last night, and went trick and treating, dressed up as Crueller d'evile and painted my face to make it spooky with blood.

We are back to school Monday, it was sunny here yesterday, but now our clocks have changed will be dark in the evenings.

Do you have any good childrens websites you can let me know about?

Hi! I'm Victoria Rose and I am 7 years old, and will be turning 8 before we cruise. I sailed once before last April on the Disney magic and loved the kids clubs. I can't wait until the party when we leave and the characters dance and we can blow bubbles!

I can't wait to see Mary, Luv2Dream's daughter, who I met on the last cruise and had a lot of fun with!

We have been to Disney World a bunch of times but never DisneyLand.

I am going to be Little Bo Peep for Halloween tonight. I love all of the Princesses.

I love Splash Mountain and the Norway ride best at Disney World.

Dear All
Yesterday at the Halloween party all my friends were there and we had a great time . We played all sorts of games and went trick and treating we got so many sweats . I have also been going out with my friends to parks and places like that . I like playing in my street ( not busy) and making friends I've already made a friend called Nicola she likes playing games. My brothers name is Stephen he is some times very annoying. I've had a week of school . And tomorrow I'm going back to school. Do you like school? I do . I think its interesting but other people think its boring .

I love Walt Disney World and i have been there 15 times already.

My favorite park is the Magic Kindgdom but I like the other parks too.
My favorite rides are Space Mountain, Splash Mountain, Big Thunder, TOT, RocknRoller, Mission Space and Test Track.

My favorite ride are TOT, and RocknRoller.
I finally went on RocknRoller for the first time last January..I was 48 inches then and now can go on all the rides.
I have never been to Disneyland. My mom and Dad and my sis been there once.
I can't wait to see Disneyland.
I also love the Disney Cruise. I love to be in the clubs all the time!!
My favorite subject in school Social Studies.
My hobbies are Game Cube and Game Boy.

I am going Trick and Treating tonight. I am a Star Wars Jedi Knight. Star Wars is my favorite movie but i also like Disney movies too.

Stephen

Hello Alex ( Dad is typing for me, Stephen can write but very slowly at the current time)

Stephen is good at computer games, likes Disney web site, and our own CBBC,
Stephen is 6 now and will be 7 on the cruise.
He loves Trains, Monorails, MK Disney trains, and big thunder mountain.
He has five train sets, and one of these is a hornby electric layout set with 11 trains and sidings etc.
Stephen has been on most rides, although when he was last at WDW in August 2003 he missed some of the height restrictions, now will not be a problem.

He loved mission space, and test track, and has ridden up front on the monorail a number of times.
Favourite resort is Contemporary due to the trains and the view of MK and fireworks.

At MNSSHP in 2001 and 2002 and on the magic he dressed up as a vampire tigger.

Hi Stephen!

My mom is typing for me too!! But one day i will type by myself. My sis can type by herself.

When i was real little, i loved trains. I have a whole Thomas the Tank train set. I still have it, but it is put away in storage. My mom wants to keep it forever. My dad is a train buff.

I LOVE the monorail!! I bugged my mom and dad ask for us to sit in front all the time. You can see everything in front of you. I also love to watch the monorail driver.

I love test track and mission space too!

Are you going to Disneyland?? I am finally going there for 1st time.

I can't wait to meet you.

Hi,
My name is Jacob and I am 7 yrs. old. I'm a slow typer, so my mom is typing for me.

I also like trains. I collect Thomas the trains and the wooden train tracks. My little sister Grace plays with them now also. I also like the monorail at DisneyWorld.

I've been to Disneyworld a lot ( we think 7 times) and Disneyland a lot also. We're going to Disneyland in March. I also love Legoland. We've been on 2 Disney cruises. The things I loved about the cruise were playing with my cars in the porthole windows, eating out every night, and eating dessert. The things I didn't like were fighting with my sister over who got to sleep in the bunk bed, going to the kids' club (it didn't have very good toys and I didn't know anyone and they told me what to do all of the time).

I like magnet cars (they're little cars that have magnets on the bottom so they can go upside down on metal objects) and legos.

My favorite Disney rides Space Mountain, Rock 'n roller coaster, Kali River, Grizzly River, and Soarin' over California. I wasn't tall enough for California Screamin' last year, but I may ride it this year. I like Stitch a lot and I'm going to ride the new Stitch ride next time we're at Disneyworld.

We decorated our house for Halloween. I can't wait to go trick or treating tonight.

(Alice, Jacob's sister Emily thinks he's annoying also. Someday you'll like him (at least your parents hope so.) Jacob didn't say this - his mother did! Jacob doesn't think he'll ever like his sister. )
