I didn't notice any snorkeling so I would take your own kit if you are really keen. The sand is lovely but I didn't notice anything much worth looking at in the water.

You mentioned Nelson's Dockyard in your write-up. What is it exactly? I saw it mentioned on Cruise Critic as well in a couple of write-ups.

Nelson's dockyard is an old harbour. I believe it has restored buildings with some kind of naval museum. As far as I know it is still a working harbour with yachts etc using it to dock. Lord Nelson was actually based there himself - it was called 'English Harbour' then and renamed after him later.

We didn't visit it ourselves although I would like to make the effort to see it when we are there in December as it sounds kind of interesting.

David (DJS113), I am sorry I did not add you to the early dining but I am doing it as soon as I stop typing. I am so excitied that you are joining us. Emily will be so psyched as she will have someone she has met sitting next to us. We neeed to set a date up to get together with the children. When we get back from our cruise on2/23 I will e mail you that week so we can setr up a date.

Mary, I actually checked the price on our cabin last week and it went up about $1,000.00. We were on the same thinking path. I am so glad we booked ahead that is our spending money that we saved from booking early.

Wow! Everyone has been busy! I left to watch the Super Bowl & Survivor, fell asleep, got up, went to work, and you all have 3 more pages!!!
Ineeley...I was hoping that little display of Janet Jackson's was fake!? My DS (age 10) was in the room! Don't know how they get away with that junk. She's just as weird as her brother. (sorry if there are any Michael fans left out there...that's just MHO).
My whole day got messed up today. I totally forgot it was payroll and end-of-the-month book time, so I had to stay WAY longer than I wanted to. Would have called in sick, but I sleep with the "boss", so he'd know I was faking.
Anyway, I'm going to look at Mary's Wall of Fame, and then make dinner.
Will check in later, and see if we have 3 more pages to catch up on!

I received an email from Karyn (kabuli1) today, here's a bit of what she had to say:
"Rained during sail away and the trip down FL was in gale force winds - but no waves - we were really bouncing all over the place from the wind. Pretty weird. it's beautiful and hot not and mostly sunny. Tea at Palo today....."

Our own gaRry modeling the shirt he created for his last cruise (and showing a corkscrew). With him is his lovely wife Vicki.

Also put up tonight is dancind's beautiful family.

Our photo gallery is looking awesome. So tell me gaRry, I've been wondering since I joined this board, what's the deal with the capital R in your name? I am not sure if your name is really Garry but everyone forgets your second "R", or if there is some secret story to your name. I'm just curious, I was thinking it was maybe something from a previous cruise and since I don't have all that history with you, I thought I'd ask! Anyway, I just wanted to get close and personal (HA) and thought I'd ask.
