Welcome to this thread!!

We are from Seattle (well, Bainbridge Island to be SPECIFIC ). I have 2 DDs, ages (at time of cruise) 5 and 8. We simply MUST get our kids together before the cruise! Starbucks for us--or Seattle Center??-for the kids???? The Fun Forest is about the closest thing to a theme park we have around here

Kabuli1 is the one moving to this area--to Puyallup. They are moving from Chicago. I think they are in the throes of the move right now--that is why she hasn't posted lately.

One thing about us West Coasters on this thread (Matt is also one--although he is in CA--and there are some others): it is lonely posting at night because when it is 10:00 here (like now!), everyone else is sound asleep. And then by the time I check posts (like tonight), everyone has been going mad all day--starting hours before I even WAKE UP and there is a ton to catch up on!

Sorry Barb! I remember you talking about packing! We didn't have much snow here, so I can't use that as an excuse. We've just had every germ known to man! DH is still coughing awfully! And DD had a fever yesterday with a really stuffy head. DH said one of the guys at work said he was coughing so hard his bald spot was red!!!

Anyway, we're all healthy today, so I'm back at work. Tonight is DS's first boy scout meeting! He's been working on his requirements for his first rank (scout), and is very excited. They have a winter campout the end of the month, so I'm looking for details. Hopefully it's cabin camping. Tent camping the end of February does NOT sound good to me.

Good morning all! I'm up for the 2nd time today. Woke up at 3 am to find them digging up the street in front of our house - the water main had broke! Yuck!

They left at 5 and I fell back asleep for about an hour.

Dee if you and Christy have a meet be sure and send me a picture! We had great fun when we got to meet Karyn and Vicki's familiies!

If anyone is going to be in WDW the 23rd through the 27th of May I'd love to meet you!

Good morning all. Well, my 53 degrees and dreams of melting snow went out the window during the night. 28 this morning and it is snowing! Oh well, we need the water I guess.

I agree with you guys on the West Coast thing. It would be nice if we had some more posters in the Pacific and Mountain Time Zone. Usually by the time I get on the boards in the morning, they've been burning for hours!

Well, I got tons to do here at work, I'll try to check back periodically.

It's almost 60 degrees today. Supposed to be wet and cold again over the weekend. I wish it would just stay cold and then warm up. You get your hopes up - and then it's 20 again....

Ineely--yes, and if I don't check the boards in the morning (as I often don't, since I have to be at work at 7:00 a.m., so am usually running out the door without a second to spare ), I am checking at 9 or 10 at night...but still, I love catching up

Charleston is about 1 1/2 hours north of Bluefield.

No lamb for me - STEAK.....

Wait to you see my eldest daughter demolish her medium rare steak. We ate at The Red Fox Inn at Snowshoe over the weekend - and she had the Wild Boar - and then ate the last half of my youngest daughter's filet mignon. The waiter can never believe when she orders - that she'll eat it all.... She looks about 14 or 15 at most.... instead of almost 19....
