Actually, it was the highlight of the cruise!

I'm doing much better today - thanks. I actually had some really food today ... peanutbutter and crackers - yum (not).

Ken

Yeah, it was fun. I knew it was all in jest. I'm all about jest. And those of you who met my dad probably realize now what I was talking about---him being a joker.

Poor Lisa Scuba was horrified one night. We asked her what she had ordered and she said "the duck." My dad then asked her if she saw the comedian with the duck and she said she did. My dad explained to her that duck was going to be her dinner! :earseek: The look on her face was priceless. Of course, then she looked at him and laughed and ran back to her table. :)

GREETINGS CRUISERS

another day at work, just luv that O T

should be about 60 tommorrow. lots to get done.

I'm almost back up to where I was on health. I just thought I could push hard and feel better. did not work in this case. The time was as most of you know JUST SOMETHING ELSE THANK YOU ALL. ALL of you made my CRUISE. I will always feel bad that I never had the time to visit as much as I would have liked to. that seems to be for everyone too.

WVMD hope your nurses liked it. the PT's must have been looking for the REAL DOC.

JILLJILL ready to go with this CRAZY GROUP nexted time ????????
D D & D W booked the easter 06 cruise I think?

well back to work must get things done.

I wish I could have made the manatee dive. It would have been way out on my safety range. I did enjoy the other ones. I must try not to over do it NEXTED TIME.

Except for that 2.5 pounds that snuck out! :cool1:

Better watch it! :) Or I'll have to blab that you had a very large bowl of peppermint ice cream this evening!! :earseek:

ATTN MARY!!!

This is ohiominnie (on ohiomickey's laptop and I'm too lazy to switch accounts)

On your trip report you have a picture of Ducky drawing the Donald that my dad won in the raffle.

Mike would like it if you could email us the full version of that picture...he tried to copy it from your site, but it's not clear in a big version.

We'd like to be able to give it to my dad to possibly frame with his Donald picture. :)

Email it to
homeschoolmom@mailblocks.com or mpatrickmd@mailblocks.com

THANKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

ATTN Mark...

Ok, making sure...with my front loaders I DO NOT have to use HE detergent, correct? I'm running low on it and would just as soon use regular liquid detergent as the HE can be hard to find sometimes.

I use about 50% of what's called for on the HE....so do I use 50% of THAT if I use regular detergent (read as "hardly any at all")??

Thanks!

Karen - e-mail is on its way with the picture. I sent you the full size one.

Also I talked to Mark and he says use 1/4 of your normal detergent. So your 50% of 50% is right on. Mark says the suds will tell the story - you don't want too many of those.

Mickey Bars - now that's real comfort food!

Ken

Glad your feeling better Ken! Hope all is back to normal soon.

Haven't tried the Mickey bars in quite awhile, although Alicia swears by their healing powers.

Did try for the first time a real ship delicacy; the chicken tenders! They ARE pretty good. Although, I'd still rather have the fillet at Palo!!!

Not sure what to do in '06 - a cruise or 2 weeks in Australia. It's a tough choice to make. I know that the 5/27/06 cruise is out for us - too close to the end of school. Easter week would be a possibility - need to look into that one.

Mary, it was nice to read your trip report. Sounds like a good time was had by all and sadly missed by us. It was very nice to see your pic with Kevin Neary and congrats on the trivia win. A friend of mine knows Kevin and I will have to show him the picture, he hasn't seen him in a couple of years.

Glad to hear everyone had a great time and you were all thought of many times throughout the week. I'm looking forward to seeing Stacey's pictures next week.

Bummer. Ah, well, I've got one that is unique!! :)
Hey, stop talking about me while I'm sick, and trying to have Christmas with my non-cruising family members!!

Karen, you have the same picture as all of us...except, Mark & Mary have a copy of the one with Cary (L & S Guy) looking forward, and I had Shutters print a copy of that one for Cary, since I figured he'd like to see his own face! But, in the one we have, where Cary is looking to the side, more of the group was looking up, looking good, and had their eyes open. So, for the majority of the group, we reprinted the one of Cary looking to the side. Make sense? If not, I'm blaming it on the meds, they make me dizzy. Finally got my "land legs" back, and now dizzy from meds. Can't win for losing.

Mary.....I LOVED the trip report! You have the only picture from our renewal that I've seen so far! They will be mailing me my video and pictures....soon, I hope!

I need to edit some of my photos and make a new disk, but I'd be happy to share copies with anyone who wants them. I've got lots of shots of all the different tables at dinner, some of Mr & Mrs Sandman......LOL....
It will be a while before I can get back to them. Lots of work to do in the office...end of the month, quarter and year. Bah humbug!

We went to Phil's new house last night, and I did manage to stay up until midnight, but I paid for it today by not being able to move from the couch. I slept a lot.
We had our Christmas with Jay's sister & her son...he had the stomach flu, so we were quite the bunch. Then later this evening, Megan and Pete came over for our Christmas. They brought pizza. Great dinner, huh?
Sure wish I'd stayed at the scrapbooking party. The kids gave me a beautiful scrapbook and a lot of Mickey stickers, wedding stickers, and beach theme stickers, so that I can make a book. Sometime in July, maybe.

Karen, I sent Jay down on the last night to slip something under your door...did he get the right room???

Mary, I mistook the Memory Box for an album, sorry.....the box is MUCH more amazing than an album since it will hold all the little goodies that won't lay flat in an album....thank you again, so much! You two are too sweet.

We have the 5-27-06 "Double Dip" booked. I'm beside myself knowing that we'll be cruising with some of you again!! :cool1:

Virgil, cute names for the kitties! What do they look like? I wish I could get one, just can't make myself do it. Thanks for the info on the antibiotic. It's either that or the Tessalon that's making me dizzy. I know lots of meds come with the warning about driving and operating machinery, but I've never had one make me dizzy before. First time for every thing!

How come DCL doesn't have any excursions listed for the Mexican Riviera yet? Those cruises are getting pretty close (the May and June anyway).

Taking my dizzy self to bed now....

Beautiful Sunday Morning to all of the East-Coast Cruisers!!!

By the way, Captain Thord told me that he reads the boards.........

Dear Captain,
It wasn't me who "corrected" your lovely children. Hope to sail with you again in the future.
We had a wonderful trip.
Sincerely,
Stacey Stenson
8602 (the one who was everywhere, and appeared to be stalking you!)

Should be nearing a TOP soon.
Funny that you guys have started that on the May '06 thread!!!

Opps, it me, Scuba Diver. Scuba Matt has not seen 5:30 am for weeks.
______________________

It's a sad day in University of Michigan land. The Rose Bowl was a great game, but Young sure did put it to them. Congratulations to Texas.

Last night we had our last Christmas with our neighbors. We gave them their new wine glasses that hold a complete bottle. I may have to borrow those for our next cruise. They look pretty neat. Will need a straw for them.

They gave me a new cork screw, The Cork Jet. It is one of those CO2 powered cork screws and it is really neat. We were all fighting over it trying to open wine bottles. To bad we than had to drink them.

Kevin, like your picture of the manatees. I wish the spring run was a little longer, but that is why we need to do Crystal River. If the Gooses come down in Feb that will be my recommendation, Crystal River.

I want to thank Nick, OH DS, for the best food tip of the cruise, ordering a bowl of raspberries. Add those to a Mickey Bar and that was an excellant treat. A Mickey Bar, fresh raspberries, and a glass of Port. Now that is comfort food.

I should have made this four different posts so I could work for a top. Just to much effort this morning as my coffee is still brewing.

Mary, I normally don't read trip reports. Been there and done that.

However, I read yours and really enjoyed it. Nice job. It makes me want to go back!!!!

Wow I'm really surprised. With all the time we spent with those pictures I really thought you were going with the other one. We picked the one we did because everyone looked great in it. Oh well since you were the one in charge that was your call. I'm very happy we have the one we do have (which can be seen in my trip report).

BTW I mentioned this to a few but if anyone was not able to get one we will have a large high quality version of the one we have on the CD or if you aren't exchanging CD's we can get you a printed copy as well.

Ah, that explains it!! Makes sense! I kinda like my picture anyway, since I never actually MET Cary, I can show it to people and tell them "it's some guy I never met" and that's a good story! ;)
