Therese, now I'm really bummed we couldn't make the trip. It really would have been nice to see him.
He won't know us by name, only by face. Can you find out if he's going to be sailing on Aug. 6 please? But you can tell him we said hello and are looking forward to seeing him soon, the Harrington's; Jay, Barb and Alexa. Or you can let Stacey give him the message - or would that be Lisa?!? :bitelip:

Have a great time.

Hi Barb,

I mentioned it to him last night - and he blushed - at that time I had not been on the boards so I didn't know your name. I will surely mention it to him tonight and see if he will still be sailing on the Aug 6th cruise.

gotta go - the family must be out of the shower by now!

So the secret is out. I told her to keep it quiet.

well, it's out now ;) she's had so much fun wandering the dining room looking for you guys! of course, when you go to Palo, she'll be eating in your place!!

hanging out waiting for our excursion to start (12:10) a low key tour--under 2 flags.

it's toasty warm and the sun feels good. heard ohio is going to get 6-10 inches tonight and tomorrow--that's after today's freezing rain. wow....glad i'm here and not there. of course, more than likely, knowing ohio, it will be 45 degrees on thursday and it will all melt!

Greetings from St. Maarten!

Hi all! Didn't check back in yesterday night as the internet stops were MOBBED!

National Treasure is really a good film, If you liked The Rock, you'll like this one.

Yesterday was really unwind day, Didn't do a whole heck of a lot, just enjoyed the downtime, really. Dinner was a NEW menu - The Master Chef series! Fascinating choices, was still kind of fooded out, but really enjoyed it.

Today it's in the upper 80's here, mostly clear skies, calm waters. already been thru town shopping before a snorkeling excursion this afternoon.
I tried to stay up for the British pub night last night, but simply couldn't make it.

And Stacey tried to stop by the early dining group, didn't help some were having dinner in the suite and lot of the rest were in Palo!

The group shot came out great, by the way, I'll make sure there's one publicly available later on. HOWEVER - for everybody here on the ship - Justmestace has the prints, not in shutters! Get them from her.

Hi Mark-ST. Maarteen is our FAVORITE port. We have also stayed there a few times. We love Ill Pinel Island, Shopping on both sides, The open market on the french side, restaurants. Beligum Choc. -I could go on and on. I am so glad the weather is beautiful for you all.
Thanks for the update. I love reading them and living through you all that post since we had to cancel.-Regards and love to Mary and the crew.

Tell David hello. Tell him the snow is melting and it will all be gone when he arrives back in NY next week.

Looking forward to seeing the group shot.

Send Stacey and Diana my love-Gail

You missed a good time in the British Pub. Lisa showed up.

I agree that the group shot came out great. Stacey stopped by our table and showed us.

Tonight is Palo's for us.

Life is tough!

Would this be the same Lisa that I will be going to Vegas with in a couple of weeks?!? If so then I think I'm very scared.

Thanks for all the updates everyone.

Therese, thanks for making Alan blush.

Therese, thanks for making Alan blush.

Spoke again with Alan again last night - he will be on and off the ship over the next few months - his wife is due to give birth so in May he will be off for a couple on months - says he will return the end of July - beginning of August - although he is not too sure, so you can request his station he said and would love to see you again!

:cool1: Therese, thanks so much for the information. That gives me something else to look forward to on our cruise.

Ohiominnie - Just sent you a PM.

Merry Christmas to all the Magic Cruisers! Wish we were there!! Tomorrow is a busy day as we celebrate on both days so I won't be able to catch up til Sunday.

By the way, to the very nice lady (either Justmestace or Ohiominnie - or BOTH) for delivering those pictures to Ronald. He loved them and has since sent me an email. Thanks for taking care of that birthday wish for me! You guys really are the BEST!!

Happy Sailing!!! :boat:

HIYA! Think I'll stick to posting the 'big' post out in the 'LIVE!' thread.

The ornament exchange was great! Very glad little Lisa got to finally keep that ornament. Bad bad evil twin Lisa tried to steal it too. Of course Mary & I provided said ornament.

Today was great, St. Lucia REALLY wanted to make a good impression. And they exceeded at that. Something overheard at dinner, DCL wants to make this a permanent stop on one of the cruises. It would be a nice change, but what do they do?

I also have a teeny gripe, we flew by St Thomas the night before St. Maarten. We should have stopped there; then we wouldn't have to deal with the 6:30am immigration on Xmas morning. Dunno the thinking on that one.

Mark-thanks for the udate. We love ST. Lucia as well. We were there last year when we cruised on the Celebrity Summit. Beautiful Island.
The priate excursion and the pirate party on board sounded awesome.

MERRY CHRISTMAS to all the DIS'S that celebrate Christmas.

Thinking of you all and wish you a MAGICAL HOLIDAY.

Have a great time today in Antigua.

Looking forward to reading all about it.

Merry Christmas-Mark and Mary.

Fondly-Gail :boat: :boat: :boat:

Gail - thanks for the Christmas wishes. Another great day. Beautiful weather and we did snorkeling with the Stingrays on Antiqua.

Pirate night last night was so much fun!

We've booked the 5/27/06 cruise as have a number of our group.

This is so great sailing with so many friends. Wish you were here!

The good news for you is that as our cruise winds down :sad2: yours is getting closer! Hope you have a great one!

We were joined at dinner tonight by 3/4 of the Scuba clan. Jim, Sharon and Matt joined us. Lisa was eating with KT and Nick. We were missing Ken & Shari who were at Palo, Staci who was hooking up with friends and Dennis and Angie as Angie is not feeling well. Keep her in your good thoughts.

The scuba's had a Chirstmas gift for Bear of an adorable outfit and even made a Pirate Bear sign for our door.. Too cute!

Merry Christmas from St. Thomas!

Go ahead and read the long post on the Live! thread first. :)

It's been a fun day past, with us getting some Xmas cards, a 'Pirate Bear' doorsign for pirate night (forgot to mention that) and a nice dinner gift from Ken(kpros) and family.

Now, dinner last night was kind of vacant as Ken & Shari went to Palo, Staci had dinner with friends someplace.

It was even more vacant as we have an ill DISer. Keep MrsMork in your thoughts, as she's being entertained by a kidney stone. Hope it passes soon, they can be excruciating. We hand delivered the Kpros gift to MrMork who let us know, that even moreso this isn't the first time this has happened right before Christmas for her. Mary had one of these and it is VERY VERY painful, but once it passes all it normal immediately. Hope that comes soon for her.

Due to this empty table, we invited the Scubas to join us for the evening, which at some point did frazzle the servers a bit, but all went well and had a pleasant dinner.

(and did I tell you how tedious the early wakeup for immigration is? did I?? Oh yes I did already)

It's 6 am and I guess no one is going to be around to chat with me since they are all still in bed.

I'm sure Mark will post an update today since we are spending the day at sea. He needs to get up a little earlier so he can get in the internet cafe.

The big event, at least for me, today is the Desert Buffet tonight. I'll have to pace myself because we also have our DIS champaign brunch. It's going to be a tough day! :earseek: :earseek:

Today was definately a sleep in day. It's now 8:30 and the internet cafe is still empty!

Never did make it to visit the late seating diners as we had planned. Went back to the cabin after dinner and just dozed off. We've had so much fun that it is starting to catch up with me. So let me now wish Virgil a happy 1 year anninversary. It was a year ago yesterday that Virgil became the first pirate: as he grabbed #1000!

Well off to read the rest of the board - then off to Mass and the the DIS brunch!

I just want to say I have Never Laughed so hard as I did last night!

Leslie and Joe - you really crack me up!!

We watched - Match your Mate last night in Rockin Bar D and Leslie and Joe Stole the show!!!!!

We were there to cheer you on - and so happy that you won!!!

We dined last night at Palo's - the 3 of us for Christmas dinner. Our Waiter was Kristian, and this was our second dinner with him. After the 1st one we requested his section. He is such a Great Host! Witty but not overwhelming - impeckable service but not hovering over us. And quite a wealth of information!! I highly suggest dinning with him! He will be leaving the ship Jan 8th but will be back in the spring.

Well, we are coming to the end of our trip - and how time flies! Christmas on board the ship was very nice - and it was so Nice to recieve cards from some of the Dis Boards Group "Thank you"!!!

It is a beautiful day at sea today - let's hope the weather continues for Castaway Cay - and then to Florida - we will have the second leg of our Holiday vacation at Saratoga Springs - till Jan 4th!

Good Morning everyone.

Mary-thinking of you all today-the brunch day has arrived. If you are still on the on the boards and come back to read this-give everyone my regards at the brunch. So glad LeiLani took over the brunch for me so you all could enjoy today.

I am so glad as well that early dining worked out for you all and you got the window seats that I had requested-Thanks to you and ( I forgot) that took care of the dining when I had to cancel.

I am so glad the trip was magicial for you all.

I miss everyone and look forward to hearing from you all when we return from our trip. We leave this Wednesday 12/29 for WDW and than we get to go on the Magic for the first time on 1/4/05. We will be back in NY on 1/8/05.

I look forward to meetind Diana and her family on 12/29.

Enjoy today and CC tomorrow.

That was FUN. We tried so hard to get Stacey/Lisa and Jay up there. NOW that would have been a real HOOT!!

Ask Leslie about the "sandman"

You go girl!!

We're are refusing to give into the temptation to think about packing. A few more days of glorious cruise time left and then off to Orlando and a manatee dive with the scubas and gaRry and greGg!!!

Gotta Love it!!

Bunch today was fantastic. Gail - sorry I didn't read you post until now and brunch is long over. We have two tables full of DIS'ers and a few more tables as well. It was nice getting a chance to chat with some of the folks from late dining that we don't get to see often.

Tonight is going to be ladies night - should be great fun!
